A) Rocky Marlow Hughie Hogg C) Hector Farley TOUGH What is the county payroll kept in? A) large yellow envelope red box C) white cloth money bag D) none of the above
  2. This is the most awesome thread to ever grace the HazzardNet! I'm not just saying that to be polite. It's true!
  3. I'm agreeing with Hoss, it's Ma Harper. She and her three boys are from Chickasaw County and were in season 3. She reminds me a little of Meryl Streep in this pictures.
  4. Smurfette (she's not brunette but her name ends in ette)
  5. blond (or blonde if you prefer to spell it that way)
  6. I love the subtitle of that article. The General Lee gives AUTOgraphs. Very clever!
  7. Belated congratulations on this great drawing Brenton. I agree with Hoss. It's too bad we didn't see this when you posted it in May.
  8. I just watched two hours of CMAs Country Music Festival last night and I'm more convinced than ever that country music is dead. There were a few exceptions but basically those two hours were a rock/pop festival. Country and Western was what country used to be called but when the western part faded out, the western name was dropped. Marty Robbins was probably the last western singer. I think country should consider changing its name again since only about 20% of it is really "country" and that number drops every year. Thank goodness there's still a few country singers out there. I did enjoy their performances last night. But it appears their time in the spotlight is limited. Eventually they'll go the way of bluegrass. There will always be someone who likes that kind of music but less and less each year.
  9. Thanks again for all these great posts. The episode you were trying to think of on post 366 is The Canterbury Crock.
  10. Episodes like "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" and "Robot P. Coltrane" might not be the favorites of many Dukes fans but they do have a useful purpose. If you have a child or grandchild and hope that they will be future Dukes fans someday, episodes like those are a great place to start. Of course if they're real young, the cartoon version of Dukes are even better.
  11. I just watched "Pin the Tail on the Dukes" and got excited when I saw the television in the background. I remembered that there was a thread on this subject so I found it and then saw that post #13 had a screengrab of the episode but didn't list the episode title.
  12. Halloween (How big is Halloween over there Hoss?)
  13. I spent the weekend in Syracuse New York at my nephew's wedding and these are the first results I've seen from the race. Thanks for posting everything here.....it's too bad it wasn't better news.
  14. I sure feel bad for you MM. I've never had that problem but I've heard it can be rough. It certainly sounds like it would be enough to really weigh you down. Hang in there my friend. Maybe you should see if Brian will come back to the HazzardNet. Nobody here ever understood anything he ever posted. I'm thinking that his illogical rambling will be distracting enough to make you forget about the pain.
  15. At first I was thinking it was Mrs. James Best, also known as Sherry Tolliver but that just didn't seem right. Then I concentrated a little more and I'm going with Maybelle Tillingham, the telephone operator.
  16. Roth got the first one and last one right. Hoss got the first two and last two right. The only one Hoss missed was the middle question about the vehicle. The Beaudry's had stolen Rosco's car at the time they kidnapped Daisy. Earlier they went to Boss's house with their truck and hit a fire hydrant with it. After stealing a wad of money from Boss, they grabbed Rosco's car and accidently kidnapped Flash. I probably would have guessed the pick-up truck if I hadn't just seen it a couple days ago. Hey, check out my posts 7,777
  17. 45 minutes until we draft our players. I gotta admit I'm pretty excited. Good luck Garrett. If I'm not crowned champ in December I hope you are.
  18. Gosh Garrett, isn't it bad enough that I'm going to beat you in fantasy football? Why would you be looking for more people to beat you?
  19. I know how you feel Garrett. The saddest part for me is missing the people who used to be on but have lost interest. It's hard for me to relate to losing interest in The Dukes of Hazzard because I haven't since 1979. There have been times in my life that the show wasn't as high on my priority list as other hobbies but it always moved back up after those others came and went. What is also depressing is how folks from the past will log in occasionally and say they're back and plan on logging in on a regular basis and then we never hear from them again. I guess that's life though......ever changing. I'm glad I've met all the nice folks who have come and gone here on the greatest website on the internet. I miss the glory days here. At this point in time I think that those days will only return if Dukes goes the way of the popular series Dallas and returns to TV. If that ever happens, this place will be so crowded we'll be elbow to elbow in Dukes fans. With the popularity of redneck reality shows, the time seems ripe.
  20. Thanks for the update Garrett. I wish him well.
