Last week John made it through again. I didn't see it but they said that his dance was a tribute to his mother........And then tonight he got three 7s and combined with the viewer's votes that was enough to make it to week 5. He's made it further than I thought. That's what's get for underestimating a Duke boy.
I would love to visit the castles and cathedrals over there sometime but I probably never will. 450 people is a big audience Hoss. To update my injury on this thread it hasn't had a happy ending yet. My surgery was October 18 and the recovery will take at least 3 months....that's a best case scenario.
I don't trust technology at all. I do think the TURTLE Creek thing is just a coincidence but I agree that people are probably monitored a lot more than they realize. The younger generation doesn't care. Their attitude goes something like this: "So what if the government and everyone else sees and hears everything you say and do. Why should that concern you unless you're doing something illegal?" When I respond that I'm not doing anything illegal but just like my privacy they look at me funny and just say "Why?" When I say I want to pick my nose while watching tv without a smart camera on a smart television watching me they respond by saying "Just don't pick your nose when you're watching tv." I'm not making this up. I have conversations like that all the time. Back to the topic. Who has a a U word?
This is freaky! I posted TURTLE Creek yesterday and a minute ago I got a phone call and the caller ID said Turtle Creek Pennsylvania. My jaw dropped! I answered it and it was a telemarketer (young woman with an Asian sounding voice) who was selling medicinal oils. I said no thank you and good bye then hung up. I don't think there is any conspiracy theory here. It is just an amazing coincidence!
Back on subject here....I see my favorite....Chase Elliott won at Dover in overtime on Sunday. This means he has an automatic berth into the next round. His victory was partly the result of two wrecks at the end.
I'm not sure I'd say they are my favorites but I love dirt bikes enough that I made a list of all the episodes that features them.....Road Pirates.....Along Came a Duke (with Jeb)....The Fugitive (lots of all kinds of motorcycles on this one)....A Boy's Best Friend....Coy vs Vance.....Twin Trouble has 3-wheelers. I remember when they first came out. Eventually they were determined to be too dangerous so 4-wheelers took over but I never warmed up to either. Dirt bikes can go so many more places since they're skinnier and can fit between trees and other obstacles better....and they're lighter in general.
When Cooter and the Dukes were fixing up that old wreck of a black '69 Charger there was only one color of paint that Cooter had enough of and it was ORANGE.
