And ya got a bunch of new cousins too and I'm happy to be one of them. Tell us more about yourself. Favorite character? Favorite episode, scene, seaaon....all that kinda stuff....been a fan a long time.? Have you ever met one of the stars? Do you have the DVDs or any old Dukes toys?...or you don't have to tell us anything....we're just happy to have you.

From what I remember JP Pruitt was only a name on a mailbox but I think it appeared more than once. A lot of these names I've listed are people whose faces never appeared on screen. Some of them were just places that were talked about or driven by. I have a lot of them matched up with roads, landmarks, ponds, etc. When I retire I'd like to make a map as big as a wall. I've made smaller ones in the past.

I used closed captioning to get some of the spelling but I know they're not all correct since it spelled Hobie Hartkins....unless our local HazzardNet moonshiner is spelling it wrong. I started it in the Residents of Hazzard County thread. It will take awhile but I'll post more names every evening that I have time. I'll definitely post a bunch tonight. I'm happy to see that you are so interested. I thought I would post eveeybody so decided to start with the main characters and work my way down. Is there anybody in particular you are looking for?

Here's a list of relatives who have passed on to Hazzard Heaven.... Bo's father, Luke's father and Enos's father ran shine together.....Jesse's Mama was the best midwife in Hazzard County.....Boss' s Mama's ashes are in a racing trophy....Jesse's grandaddy worked Mississippi gambling boats before becoming a Christian.....The 3 younger Dukes had a Grandpa Henshaw...Grandma Duke's maiden name was Denton. Caleb Duke settled in Hazzard in the mid 1700s. Martha Duke had Joshua Duke on September 9, 1762.....Sadie Hogg was Boss's great-great grandma....Boss's great aunt Emma Lou Hogg died in 1980...Boss's great-great grandfather was Lighthouse Harry Hogg...Rosco and Lulu had a great uncle Hosiah P Coltrane....Rosco and Lulu had an Uncle Jasper....Silas Hogg was Boss's uncle.....and of course the season 7 episode "Go West Young Dukes" has a lot of charaters from June of 1872.

Once again we didn't get a single trick or treater. That is one of the few disadvantages of living on a dirt road in the sticks. I used to love it when my nephews and neighbor kids were running around back in the late 80s and early 90s.

If Jesse had a wife named Lovinia the boys could still have an aunt named Lovinia. Jesse's brother could have married a woman with the same first name OR maybe she's only affectionately called aunt. Other characters in the show (Cooter, Cletus, Enos) used to call Jesse "Uncle" even though if he was grumpy he'd say "I ain't yer Uncle Jesse"

I mentioned Aunt Clara two posts back...second line from the bottom. Aunt Tillie was mentioned in High Octane. I just got home from work an hour ago and I'm watching game 7 of the World Series so I'll post more names tomorrow night.

I just used a little imagination to fix that. Jesse's wife is Lavinia but once in awhile he calls her by her middle name....Martha.

Dukes came out when I was 19 and since our antenna wasn't good enough I would go to my grandparents to watch it. They only lived 2 spits and a rock throw away. I always stayed around and watched Dallas after that but Dallas didn't end up sticking with me 4 decades later like Dukes did.
