I think there were 2 other places on the outskirts of the county where you could get gas. If anybody is interested I could look that up in my notebook. -
Believe it or not I've never owned a cell phone. I've also never owned a credit card or ATM card. My wife has all of them though. I just like the low-tech lifestyle. We have a few Amish around and I've always admired them.....Except for the part where they don't watch Dukes.

It's amazing. I've been watching Dukes for 41 years and there are still things I either missed or didn't pay attention to. -
I watched Days of Thunder last night. I haven't seen it in years. I'd forgotten how good it is. There were a couple unrealistic scenes but overall pretty entertaining.

I'm more of a buttermilk guy myself but I always love a good race so I'll be there. I bet you'll get more spectators than the Buttermilk 500.....unless Enos is there waving the checkered flag. He's the biggest buttermilk drinker I know.

Kids like that restore my faith in youth. I never had a son but I have grandsons. My favorite character was Enos when the show was on but since I've become more like Uncle Jesse I've made a switch.
