After a break of almost 10years, I've returned to this winter sport. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten how hard it is. I've done 3 races so, & got another one on Saturday - which is a 'Cyclist verses Runners' Up to the top of a local (to the event start anyway) moor & back down! I'm using a mountain-bike I bouught earlier in the year, not a proper 'cross' bike, but might get one for the next season (had one before) Click on pic, to open album

I try to get out on 'green-lanes' as they're called over here in the UK in my Land Rover. They have full vehicular rights, but aren't concreted/tarmacced. Sadly the access we have is being curtailed by law, due to a vociferous campaign by the Rambler Association (hikers) & with a Government Ministers in their associatio,as you can guess it's a bit one sided. At the same time, the the paths they use are constantly being eroded due to over-use, OR,, being resurfaced with materials alien to the surroundings. 'Rant Mode' off On a similar vein, guess what the 4x4 hating Minister Of Transport drives??? Give in? A Range Rover Hypocrite, or what???

  9. Here are the completed photos after several years of on-and-off work. Although posted before, here is my own philosophy of building a General Lee, which differs from so many other builds I've seen. Font is increased as per comments that it was hard to read. MY G.L. BUILD PHILOSOPHY My main criticism of most GL builds is that they are 'way too immaculate to be an in-use back-roads racing car driven by good-ol-boys on a farm. They always look...well, sterilized comes to mind. Absolutely gorgeous, like they're going for the trophy at a car show, with a car that's never driven except on and off a trailer. Not this one!! -Interior: Agree with many that the…

I want to do a 1/25 model kit of the General based on Revell's 69 Charger. The big issue seems to be the decals. All internet searches seem to point to jbot.ca as the best, but he hasn't been in business since 2018. Anyone have a suggestion for some accurate, complete water slide decals these days?

Hey ya'll I just bought this pretty cool survival horror game. It's called Cold Fear and I recomend it to all Resident Evil fans! The main character is reletavly attractive (Although the voicework could be a little better) and it's creepier than Silent Hill with a more RE esque to it. I swear, these monsters come out of freaking nowhere and all the warning you have before they leap at you from behind is this inhuman screech! And sometimes you go into this really dark room and by the time you turn on your flashlight you already have a monster leaping out at you! It's a fantastic survival horror game, my only complaints are the voice acting and the aiming system should be e…

  14. All of you that like horses and like Art all at the same time check out www.rehs.com/john_frederick_herring_jr_virtex.htm you will be glad that you have read and looked at his painting's. I had seen his painting "Painted Horse" at "Out On a Limb" in Loudonville, Ohio right in Amish Country last year.

  15. So I started riding horses when I was 5. I got bucked the day after I got my first pony but did I quit? Nope in about a month I was running barrels, makin' it act like a bronco and jumping ditches. After I outgrew the pony I got a Quarter horse that reared, another one that bucked one that ran away let's just say I went through six horses in a summer and after the last one goofed my daddy offered me $5,000 to quit, but of course I did'nt. Now I have a calm gentle, but spunky little Tennessee Walker whom I ride on trail rides and cattle drives. Is there any one else out there that did'nt let money get in the way of there dreams?

I have an annoucement to make, a little under two weeks ago I finished my 2006 Dodge Charger srt8 and it's grabber orange. For those who aren't familier with this color you might see this color on a Ford Mustang going down the road sometime. Well I have the revell version with the big rims and the scissors doors as well but I accidently glued shut I got a driver that is a red-haired lady in it. The trunk doesn't really open that well once you get all together and I left the interior grey as well. It has no decals on it, not even a license plate on it. And this joins my Charger collection of The General Lee, a flower power version of bright green 1967 Dodge Charger with de…

I was at Simpson United Methodist Church Rummage sale on my break from being a Poll Worker. Well anyways there was hardback books was 25 cents and there paperback books were 10 cents according to the signs. Now, I thought that's a real steal of a price and two books caught my eye one was a old college book unopened from 1985. The second one was "Around The World in 1000 pictures" I don't know who wrote or took the pictures off hand right now. Well, I get back from my break and I'm looking at because it's slow at the polls and I look at the title page and copyright says "1954". Okay, one more thing when you bought something you got a free coffee mug and I saw this orange a…

Well, for the past ten years I've been collecting die-cast and now I have two Corvettes 1/24 scale from the Corvette museum it's just american to go to that museum and not buy something Corvette related. At least three Dodge Chargers and they are a 1/18 scale General Lee just got a couple of weeks ago. Two 1957 Bel-Air same exact model just different colors. I couldn't believe I did this until pulled the first one out. 23. Latemodel Sportsman Mod Released by: Scott HawbakerThese were the classes that ran the heartland through the 1970's and early 80's. These cars ran on both short track Dirt and Asphalt. The carset is a from the Midwest, mainly Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois and Nebraska and many were the big name drivers of the day. Included is the rookie car of Billy Moyer Jr. This is the car I watched him race in when he was still a nobody cutting his teeth at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines Iowa. Now, he is a Super latemodel legend. As always, I gotta thank my Man Dave for his help not only uploading the mod, testing the mod and cleaning up and adding his own personal touch…

So far, my Quest to provide and fill the hole left by Revell, MPC, AMT, ERTL, R2, and Auto-world has lead me to create General Lee Creations from a Facebook page, to a full blown model making Hobby/Company, I am going to be releasing My own custom Modeled 1969 Dodge charger General Lee Alongside a SLA printed Bo and Luke due in 1/43 scale (The Bo and Luke duke models weren't created by myself, but a very competent user on Cults3D, and I bought the rights to use these figures though the Charger is all my work, 100%) and by Q3 of 2024 I will have 1/25 models ready to roll off the line for any one who may want one along side figures of all your favorite cast members, Rosco, …
