Let's take the General Lee fer a spin." "Dave said "No driving, Alvin." "Dave won't be back fer hours. Come on!" 😂 Sound of a car turning over but won't start up. "Don't flood it Alvin! You're …

Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) & Roberta Leighton (Candy Dix) version of Boulder to Birmingham from The Dukes of Hazzard Season 6 episode Play It Again, Luke. 🎶 I got on this airplane just to fly I know there's life below me but all that you can show is the prairie and the sky I don't wanna hear a sad story full of heartbreak and desire the last time I felt like this I was in the wilderness and the canyon was on fire and I stood on the mountain in the night and watched it burn I watched it burn I watched it burn I would rock my soul in the bosom of Abraham I would hold my life in his saving grace I would walk all the way from Boulder to Birmingham if I thought I co…

I haven't been able to find the full song to listen to (for free) anywhere. Looked on YouTube. Anybody else heard this song? He does a pretty amusing Rosco impression. Khee! I'm gonna have it stuck in my head now... Shame, shame, shame. Everybody knows your name Ya lost the Duke boys, in the pond again Rosco P. Coltrane!

Ok I thought I would make this a bit more challenging. You have to name a song that was written for the "Truckers". You need to know your Classic Country music in order to understand this or have Truckers in your family like I do when it comes to the both I mentioned. So I will start this one off. Good luck everyone! "Roses for Mama" by C.W. McCall - Greatest Hits (naming album is optional)

Greetings all and great website! I hope others enjoy this post. Let's track down this instrumental music! I think everyone wants to have that infamous instrumental music played on the first 6 episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard" that was filmed in Covington, GA before moving to California. Especially the FIRST episode during the chase scenes. Well, still no luck. BUT, I came across a Waylon Jennings tune called - "Big Ball In Cowtown". It's on his 1976 'live' album. This song sounds VERY & EXTREMELY similar to the instrumental music. Once you hear this song, you'll agree. I bet this song was the influence for the instrumental music. -Dar. PS-- here's a LINK to a snipe…

i thought that y'all might like these Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm, Beats all you've ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born. Straight'nin' the curve, Flat'nin' the hills. Someday the moutain might get 'em, but the law never will. Makin' their way, The only way they know how, That's just a little bit more than the law will allow. Just good ol' boys, Wouldn't change if they could, Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.

He was a friend, a cowboy and a house hold name and a hero, just like Cash, and Jennings. Today, Wednesday March 9th 2005, Chris LeDoux passed away due to cancer complications. He was surrounded by his friends and close family at the time of his death. Chris LeDoux was well known for his many years a a bronc rider in Wyoming and many other states. Chris inspired many big names like Garth Brooks, an he was known to perfirm with the other legends. He will be very sadly missed, but he will never be forgotten for what he d…

This is what happened when I was bored, and thinkin' about the Dukes and the Dillards... It's a rewrite of Dooley.... Jesse.... Jesse was a good ol boy, He lived on Hazzard Hill, Jesse had two nephews, And some 40 gallon stills. Jesse watched the boiler, Jesse watched the spout. Daisy corked the bottles, And the nephews fetched 'em out. CHORUS (Just take the original chorus and replace Dooley with Jesse.) Jesse was a trader, When in to town he'd come, He bought corn by the bushel, And sugar by the ton. The revenuers came for him, Slippin' thru the woods, But Jesse stayed ahead of them And never lost the goods. CHORUS (Just insert Jesse for the rest of the song...) Gah…

I love collecting misheard lyrics. I thought I'd start this thread for all you music fans to post your favorite misheard lyrics. Elton John is one of my favorite sources of misheard lyrics. One of the funniest has got to be the song "Bennie and the Jets". The original lyric is "She's got electric boots, a mohair suit", but it sounds like "She's got electric boobs, her mom has too". LOL. And that's how I always sing it!
