hey yall Mark duke here comin at ya live at 5 in virginia. I saw the premier out here on monday and yeah the cast aint great, yeah the general is back , but thank those people for givin it to us cause we love the dukes of hazzard. this is for the real fans yall its the fun that counts. I didnt think itwas going to be good too cause of hollywood and all, but when the movie started i really felt good. Iwas laughin and smiling and clappin just a good ole time and when i left i fel good real good Go see it and have some fun forget the hype. c ya mark

Could some one give me as many pictures of the general lee before he was fixed by cooter in the movie? I need them to make an accurate model of that version of the general. I would really appreciate it. thanks. Oh ya i almost forgot that was the best movie I have ever seen!

Well when we were done with the scene last Saturday they bidded ALL EXTRAS fairwell and gave us a big thankyou. Said the actors would finish up this week and then everyone would be gone. Well this morning I got a call from one of the P A's and he asked me to come back to Clinton for Saturday . Told me to wear the exact same thing from last week. Soooo the filming still goes on. The movie is gonna be action, adventure and comedy (more).with the same theme song. Hopefully more news later

When, not if, but when I make MY Dukes film I am going to cast it right. First of all, Willie Nelson would be the Balladeer, not Uncle Jesse. Him and Waylon were buddies, who better for the part. And I would cast Dierks Bently, the musician as Bo Duke. He already has that sort of "Bo" persona. Just listen to his best songs and watch the vids. Heck he even makes a referrence to Bo in "What Was I Thinking" he"ran outside hood-slidin like Bo Duke" And just picture him with straighter hair, BO! after watching the good ol' boys run out rosco all those years makes me think, stunt wise... does Knoxville & Scott really have what it takes to slide across that hood or jump in and out of those windows? because if ya ask me, they couldve used a few classes from Tom & John on the subject honestly. then again i dont think Anyone could ever master getting in and out of a car like the Real duke boys. reguardless, how many people have you seen be able to slide across a hood on their knee? im gone. -Brad

This probably has been talked about a lot on other threads, but the following I believe should be on a Duke's Movie or even a new Duke's series: Uncle Jesse: Charlie Daniels instead of Willie Nelson Boss Hogg: Danny Devito Daisy Duke: Still looking but the young lady on the Beginning Movie has promise. The Balladeer: Shooter Jennings Not sure on the others as of yet, but Charlie Daniels would be great. He could even do a reunion movie with the original cast as one of Jesse's brothers. Just a thought. What do yall think?

Lots of people on this site seem to think that they could do a better job at making the Dukes of Hzzard tv show into a film. The film is not yet out and only a few people have seen a ruf-cut of the film. How can you moan about a film that is not out for a few months yet and you have not seen it. How would you guys have made this film what would you have done. Who would you guys get to star in this film. Who would write this film. Who would direct it where would youy film it? It would be fun to find out.

I've got to wonder if Rosco's part in the movie is going to be as big as it was in the movie. The website doesn't have a Rosco wallpaper or buddy icon. All of the reviews posted here doesn't make mention of Rosco's role. Will there be a comedy duo with Boss and Rosco or will he be just a country sheriff under the main antagonist, Boss Hogg?

Here we go again! This is hot off the press from the Hollywood Reporter. As of this time we have zero confirmation about this WB/Jody Hill project actually being a Dukes of Hazzard movie. But we can't ignore the possibility. Back when the rumors started for the 2005 Dukes movie, (maybe it was 2003 at the time) and Britany Spears was being considered for Daisy, we were the first Dukes website with the dirt. 1. the cars......all this talk about seeing caprices in the trailer, are BS...all i saw was were mid/late 90's ford interceptors used by the state patrol, current model cars used by hazzard county police and 1 ford LTD intercepter used by roscoe (which from far away does resemble a chevy caprice). 2. the fat guy talking to daisy at the end of the trailer and earlier in the car when luke toses the handcuffs out of the window. that guy is an oficer with the Atlanta PD, freeze frame the trailer and you can see thr APD patch on his left arm.

Even though my favorite season is the first my favorite episode is "Double Dukes". That's the one where two hoods disguise themselves as Bo and Luke and have their own General Lee.

Ok, in 10 minutes on tonight's Smallville episode, the on-screen reunion of John and Tom proved a number of things: 1) They were never "too old" to be in the Dukes movie - life doesn't end at 30 after all 2) They had more chemistry between the 2 of them, then the entire movie cast 3) It didn't matter that the Charger wasn't orange 4) Yes, they can act 5) John's still the better driver 6) The Smallville episode paid more true homage to the spirit of the Dukes of Hazzard than anything the movie gave us 7) WB does have decent writers - where the hell were they during the Dukes movie script? 8 Plaid shirts are still " in " 9) Tom can still climb through car windows …

On a couple of Entertainment show's (Tv Guide Channel, E! news) they refered to Bo & Luke as "Brothers" in the upcoming movie. Has anyone else heard of this or are these sub-par shows just mis-informed? Thanks Ya'll
