Dukes of Hazzard Movies

i have heard that they me using a new dodge charger for the general instead of the classic 69. it doesnt look bad and has potential, but there hasnt been a release date yet for it the other car could be a dodge stratus coupe (yuck) so what is your opinion - 69 charger, 05 charger or 05 stratus i think the 05 charger would look good, but not as good as the 69

why don't we just boycott the movie? i know i'm not gonna go see it. it's downright shameful that they didn't get input from the original cast/crew...anyone else just doesn't work...they didn't even bother with getting people that looked like the original characters...ugh...it's just disgusting and disheartening and i refuse to go see the movie!!!!!

hey yall Mark duke here comin at ya live at 5 in virginia. I saw the premier out here on monday and yeah the cast aint great, yeah the general is back , but thank those people for givin it to us cause we love the dukes of hazzard. this is for the real fans yall its the fun that counts. I didnt think itwas going to be good too cause of hollywood and all, but when the movie started i really felt good. Other Things happened in Hazzard, likewise there were other people living in Hazzard. Think there ought to be a movie of what the other folks in Hazzard were doing etc. Also While everyone knows the General Lee, did you notice at the few first episodes, Cooter while working in the junk yard drove Starsky & Hutch' Red Torino, with the white strip down the side. Speaking of Cooter how come no one has put up a photo of his tow truck? Both the blue and white one as well as the yellow one?

Here is another upset and sad review about the Dukes movie… I don’t think I’ve heard a good review yet, unless it showcases how “beautiful†Jessica Simpson is in her Diasy Dukes outfit. I fully expect that the success of this movie at the box office will warrant a sequel. I began thinking about a story line, I saw it mentioned that it would be cool to see the original Bo and Luke appear in the movie as villains, which I thought would be cool, but to expand upon this idea, somehow these two villains kidnap the General and low and behold we have the original Bo and Luke back in the General on the big screen. (They would have to make at least one jump of course) trying to escape from Seann and Johnny. Boy I would sure pay to see that! What ya'll think?

I have an idea of who should be Daisy..Now don't trash me on this... Gretchen Wilson - the woman who sings Redneck Woman..I know she is not an actress, but look at her and listen to her music.. Instead of a sequel the last two I say reboot the whole thing and try to do it right. The movies were OK for what they were but obviously the complaints against them were valid otherwise the second one wouldn't have been direct to DVD. Believe me I'm no prude, I'm all for good raunchy comedy. The Dukes just isn't and wasn't the vehicle to use for one. Rebooted properly something that was on it's last legs can be revived. You don't have to know anything about Superheros to know that the last two Batman movies raked it in. The first one one of those rebooted that franchise. A properly done "Dukes" could generate sequels and being family friendly could bring the kids in too…
