Ok we all know that EVIL WB did not contact any of the original cast to try and incule them, which IMO is very disrespectful. Anyone know if the US premiere has been had? I wonder if they are inviting the original cast. I mean, to have the movie premiere with a grip of stars, and not invite the Original Cast, would be HORRENDOUS!! Disrespectful, and rude. Dont you think?

Even though the movie wasn't even close to being even a little bit like the original, I still enjoyed it for what it was, and here are two of my favorite quotes out of the movie..... Few I think love the TV show the Dukes of Hazzard more than I do. Let me express it this way theres a story behind my affection. Back in 1981 when at a crossroads in my car building business in Idaho, I was in the march of going to the 1981 Salt Lake City Autorama. We at the shop had a different car nearly built, when on a scouting trip to find white go-go boots for the display, I ran across a duplicate General Lee. That was so exact it was teriffc. So then, the guy who built that car was going on a LDS Mission, and needed to sell the car, so I did what any good Duke fan would do, I bought it. Touched it up, replaced the 318 with a tweaked 440, and entered the Salt Lake C…

I saw the cast list for this film the other day and Cletus Hogg,Cherif Little and Miss Tizdale are not on that list . Are they in the film? If so who is playing Them?. Cletus if the only one out of the 3 I would like to be in this film. Maybe he is and I missed that bit of info.

I just got done watching Making the Video on MTV for Jessica Simpson's version of "These Boots are Made for Walkin'" with Willie Nelson. OH MY GOD! This vid is HOT!! Check it out. I think it just premiered tonite (wednesday) and should be on quite a bit over the next couple days. The part of the vid that I saw (I cought only like 60 seconds of it, the last bit), it was her in her Daisy Dukes with a bunch of other Daisy Duked' hot chicks, a bar fight (kind of), and her dancing VERY scandaliously in front of 'ol General Lee. Yee Haaa It appears as if John is fighting the system the only way he knows how by making his own car movie inspired by what he feels the dukes movie should have been. Its being produced by his own production company. He plans to put it on the big screen!!!!! Its aready a big post on CFGLFC because one of the members chargers is being used in the production. I read in a review of the movie that it's a movie version of "Farewell, Hazzerd".

now, im Not tearing the new flick to shreds here But... in a recent post the most popular word on any message board was muttered there, "Crybaby". I keep reading in magazines and hearing on various entertainment shows that Jessica Simpson's "Daisy Duke" shorts are way shorter than any of the shorts that Catherine Bach originally wore on The Dukes of Hazzard. Call me crazy, but I don't think so. In all of the photos that I've seen of Simpson on the set, there is no way the shorts that she's wearing are any shorter than those that Catherine Bach used to wear. What do you think? GADuke01

Anybody see the trailer during tonights episode of Joey on NBC? Starts out with the General jumping and blowing the Dixie horn, then introduces the characters, then says in theaters August 5th.
