They should've kept it the way they were gonna go for the casting of Bo and Luke. Paul Walker and Ashton Kutcher. Maybe Gretchen Wilson for Daisy.

On a couple of Entertainment show's (Tv Guide Channel, E! news) they refered to Bo & Luke as "Brothers" in the upcoming movie. Has anyone else heard of this or are these sub-par shows just mis-informed? Thanks Ya'll

I had a possible idea for a sequel to the "Dukes" movie called "Dukes Of Hazzard:Full Throttle",in this one maybe there will be Coy & Vance. Who do you think can play the parts of Coy & Vance in a possible sequel.

They should make a family friendly Dukes prequel about Bo and luke getting into run shine in their teenage years. have Tom Wopat be Uncle Jesse and have a real cast unlike 2005's movie.

As found on filmforce.com. I did minor editing for topic relevance; you can read the whole thing at: http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/638/638928p2.html IGN Interviews Jay Chandrasekhar We talk one-on-one with the Broken Lizard member and director of The Dukes of Hazzard.by Steve Head August 3, 2005 - Perhaps you know him as Ramathorn the party-loving police officer in Super Troopers, or as Putman the dreadlocked British tennis instructor in Club Dread? Jay Chandrasekhar has for the last 10 years been an integral part of the comedy troupe Broken Lizard, directing each of their films beginning with 1996's Puddle Cruiser. 1. the cars......all this talk about seeing caprices in the trailer, are BS...all i saw was were mid/late 90's ford interceptors used by the state patrol, current model cars used by hazzard county police and 1 ford LTD intercepter used by roscoe (which from far away does resemble a chevy caprice). 2. the fat guy talking to daisy at the end of the trailer and earlier in the car when luke toses the handcuffs out of the window. that guy is an oficer with the Atlanta PD, freeze frame the trailer and you can see thr APD patch on his left arm.

I have mixed feelings about the upcoming movie. I love the original Dukes, but I hate what Hollyweird has been doing to the shows that many of us grew up on. Plus: I like the fact that Burt and Willie are apart of this project. Personally, I think that Burt would have been better as Roscoe and have Mr. Gainey play Boss. Gainey being the serious to Burt's comical side would have worked out better, but I'll give this the benefit of the doubt. The best part of the whole movie will be seeing the General Lee flying through the air. Minuses: Jessica (no talent) Simpson. She actually blends in well with Stifler and the 2-headed Jackass from MIB2, but not for this movie. Br…

i was readin my copy of 'hot rod' magazine today with the general on the cover (im sure you all have it) and i came across a piece of interesting info about the jumps involved in the movie...there were actually 4 jumps, 3 which were launched by catapults, and 1 which was manned...now if you remember in the movie there were only 3 jumps: the bridge, highway, and courthouse...well the courthouse jump scene was first performed with a stunt driver...the stunt cooridinator thought that the jump was too short, so the first unit guys performed a catapult jump with the same car...so in the courthouse you actually see 2 jumps (different angles), not one.... just wonderin if y'all …

Here's one Cooter quote about the script: "Profanity," he says. "A lot of profanity. And these slacker attitudes; punk 20-somethings doing Mad Magazine and 'Saturday Night Live' satires of us. They do this thing where the Duke boys are involved with these lesbians. In fact, the script that I read ended with Bo Duke falling out of a bunk bed and breaking his Johnson while they're straightening out these lesbian girls." It's from a long but interesting article about Ben Jones: http://www.nola.com/living/t-p/index.ssf?/base/living-0/1107241267167620.xml He says: "..... if you can't take your children or your grandchildren to see this thing -- then it's not 'The Dukes of …

This article was on the Internet Movie Database! Britney Spears's hopes of landing the role of Daisy Duke in the forthcoming movie version of The Dukes Of Hazzard have been dashed - after bosses handed it to Jessica Simpson. While star Spears had expressed an interest in playing the sexy character from the '70s/'80s TV show, singer Simpson has been chosen as the blonde who will fill the extra-short shorts of original Daisy Duke Catherine Bach. Simpson's manager father Joe tells America's Star magazine, "She is really excited." Simpson herself adds, "I wanna wear those shorts so bad!" The film, about three redneck cousins, two corrupt public officials and a souped- up Dod…

Okay, Johnny Knoxville is Always going to be best known for his MTV series Jackass and Jackass The Movie. Now ive seen his parts in Duces Wild, MIB 2, Walking Tall, Gte Shorty. He really isnt that bad of an actor, Suprisingly! However a bit of a persons personality Always leaks into the character at hand. And dont be so swift to judge. Hes an Actor. Actors are meant to totally change image, personality & speech (sometimes accent too). Bottom line we Know Luke was the mature one of the bunch... Can Knoxville pull it off? im gone. -Brad

http://joblo.com/index.php?id=11024 How about doing a sequel to DUKES? I think we made it…it was fun. I loved it. I had a blast. I hear they’re talking about going forward with a low budget prequel. So you’re not interested in directing it? Not for me. Look, I had a blast. I loved the Dukes of Hazzard show and I loved the movie we made. I know some people trashed it, but I don’t really give a f***. I loved the movie, and we had a ball, me and Johnny and Sean and Burt and Willie and Jessica. I thought she was great in what she had to do. Another one? We made it and we’re done.
