Howdy from Hazzard, TN. I thought I'd post a topic on here so I may get better acquainted with some members on here. Which of the cast members have you met and what was your best and/or worst experience? I'm proud to say that I've met all the surviving cast members and more than once. I'm also happy to say that all my experiences were good ones. I've met Tom and John through their concert tours they did in the late 90's. It wasn't until their Grand Ole Opry appearances and Dukesfest of last year that I met Cathy, and while my voice worked fine, my body and hands trembled. Hey everybody. I was just wondering what you all thought of the Dukes DVDs. I can't tell you how happy I am to have it. Now I just hope they put out the rest of the series. I think WB is going to be really wary of putting the Coy and Vance season out, but they needn't worry about me buying it, cause I've got to have the entire series! What do ya'll think? P.S. I think that the production value of the DVD set is outstanding. They could've given us JUST the shows, but instead they threw in a little more. Awesome!

I was just on the CMT website looking up episodes of the series and the last few sounded pretty weird to me. One is about Roscoe being replaced by a robot and another is about Bo and Luke meeting an alien from outerspace. The Dukes and sci-fi don't really mix, so what's up with these episodes? Is there more to this than meets the eye or were these shows really as bad as they sound?

i've been wanting a blizzard all year and i finally got one for my birthday.lol how much snow are ya'll gettin outa this? up here in north central ohio, we're supposed to get about a foot! so far i think we got 3 or 4 inches. we had like 2 inches by 2 pm. they let us out of school a little early cause of it.

I was driving in the dark last night and something dawned on me. I can't remember a single scene in all 7 years where the General Lee was being driven at night. Maybe I'm getting old and losing my memory. Can anybody think of one? "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" maybe? Oh yea!!..I think they drove the alien to meet his spaceship at night. Is that the only one?

Hi all, You've probably already noticed but in "High Octane" (the episode I'm watching as I'm writing this) at about 2:27 into the episode when the boys are pulling up to the courthouse the General's grille is damaged, probably because it is the same car used for the famous semi-truck jump at the start of the episode, the noticeable damage is the right headlight hood, which has been forced open, other damage includes the silver "splitter" in the middle of the grille, which has been pushed inwards, that's all I can see in the original footage, it would probably need to be remastered to see more of the damage, anyway that's all from me, 10:4 Joe

hello, since i was 8 or 9 yrs old when the show was cancelled, i was wondering what was the final show was about, was it like cheers where it left the fans thinking the the bar was still open, or was it like mash where everyone, bo, luke ...etc, went their own way? Just wondering

I was wondering who your favorite character is that only made ONE or TWO apperances on the show. Mine is Abraham Lincoln Hogg but I also liked Loretta Lynn, Cale Yarborough, Rosco's Mama, Cooter's daughter, Swamp Molly, Hard Luck Jones, Tammy Wynette and Milo Beaudry. I'm not sure if Waylon would qualify since he was on every episode. "She don't understand they keep showing my hands and not my face on TV." Miz Tisdale is also one of my favorites but she was on more than 2 episodes. Does anybody know if the Beaudry's were on more than two? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

I was watching both season's and I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed the way the episodes may be a bit mixed up because one minute daisy had a car the next she had a jeep the 2 episodes or when Enos left of LA in the second episode of season 3 then the 4th episode he's back anyone else notice this?

Howdy Y'all...I thought of Hazzardnet when I seen this picture....I had borrowed a box of my grandmas pictures to scan through them to make a slideshow for the next family reunion...and then I found this one...the first thing I noticed was the shirt...The picture was a bit worn and out of focused but it brought a smile to my face....It's my cousin and his Dukes shirt!! It is sooo cool cause everytime we have a family dinner at my Grandmas and it lasts till 7..I always turn the Dukes on and basically anyone near the TV turns around and watches it!! I love it!!

OK, I kinda thought this would be fun: My boyfriend and I recently spent a week in Bradenton, FL with his family. While there, we spotted a General Lee that, well frankly, didn't quite make it as a General. (It was more of a Corporal Lee or something.) In his words, "It was General-Lee bad." (Pun intended. ) We're talking an early seventies vehicle of an undetermined make and model, definitely not a Dodge nor a Charger. I was recently thinking of Peggy Rea and her first anniversary,and I realised that the Christmas and early spring season is rather a sad time for Dukes fans. The first Duke member to pass away was Sorrell Booke. He passed away on February 11th in 1994 after aong battle with colon cancer. Denver Pyle passed away on Christmas Day in 1997,after a long battle with lung cancer. Waylon Jennings,the beloved balladere (misspelt?) died due to complications of diabetes on February 13th in 2002. Sweet little Nedra Volz died on January 20th 2003.
