The General Lee

Hello guys I’m new and introduced myself a couple of years ago and just got my password reset. Anywho, I’m in search of a narrow push bar template so I can make one for my Georgia based Lee I’m building. I seen something about Jon Holland had templates but I can’t seem to find it anywhere on here. I would really appreciate any help in this matter. I have recently recreated the Carroll Shelby Wheels center cap decals for my car and have purchased the tear drop antenna. I’m trying to get the real difficult pieces bought before I finish it. You have to have the cherry on top to call it done. I’d rather not wait once it’s done. Hahaha

I bought this car from a guy for my wife and two boys to injoy but i didnt know at the time i was buying the owner too. To make a long story short I had to sell it go get some peace. GOD I MISS THIS CAR !!!!!!!! But im buildimg my own General Lee just like this one ! With no strings att.

Rosco and the General, casually hanging out in my front yard I've ordered a load of things off eBay for Rosco,but they haven't arrived yet. Go to www.teamraymotorsports.com somebody painted a 2004 like a General Lee but they say it's pretty fast it can be all yours for 18,000 dollars if you want it.

What kind of pushbar was used early-on on the General, before the more recent ones from just before the show ended? Also, what kind of roll cage was used on Lee #1, just for accurate reference?

1.) What is the best (most authentic) color to use? Ex: hemi-orange or the corvette flame red? I've heard diff'rent versions. What's the difference? 2.) Was there a specific "tan color" that they used for the interior during the show or just about any ol' tan color is good enough? Thanks for any input! Aaron

Let's talk about things that could be added to the General's paint job, just 'cause. how's this? Flames riding from the front bumper to the door side of the front wheel? Back two years later, in case someone reads ancient threads, hope the system doesn't bump this deal up. I didn't mean desecration at all, just, y'know, for humor purposes, but y'all are right, you don't change a uniform and that's just what the General's paint is: his uniform, and you just can't deface that.

i was told i have in my possesion a replica dukes of hazzard suzuki 125 cci dirt bike. the thing is i dont remember seeing it in ANY episode. granted i was born in 82. my question is was there ever one.

Well my dream car is a 68 or 69 charger i have had no problems finding one but cant afford it yet. So i figured i would post this for those of you who are looking for a charger as well. the only thing is i only know of the one place by me that always has the chargers, i don't know of anywheres else. I'm wokin on getin the site for it up on my computer now so if anyone wants to know just let me know. So just give a holler, i'll be around.

Is the CB radio in the General Lee in the old TV series a Cobra 77x or 78x? I seem to remember reading that the Cobra 78x was used in the TV series but want to be sure.

I say a picture of the soundstage lee and the billboard lee over on CGLFC.I don't know if the billboard lees identity has been discovered yet but I think I've found out what car is the soundstage lee. Hello again everyone, My 69' Charger is coming along nicely in becoming a "General." As I think what to invest in next for it, I have begun looking at the wheels/rims. I'm seeing a lot of variation in wheel width. I know to shoot for the 15' inch diameter, but what was the correct wheel width used for the Generals during the T.V. show? In other words: 15 X 8' in the rear, and, 15 X 6' in the front? Any info, pics, ect. would be greatly appreciated! You can read my posts and a guy named Dons post on there. It explains why we feel this way. It's a replica with just a very small percentage of it being the actual remnants of the actual car.
