The General Lee

I am the new owner of the #1RDV General Lee from the movie starring Jessica Simpson. What I am looking for are photos of this car being used during the production. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. It is currently painted in the pre-Cooter paint scheme (dull & faded) with the RDV (remote drive vehicle) equipment on the roof, but was originally standard General Lee #13 Post-Cooter. I'm startin this thread for sightings of different stuff with a General Lee paint job. I'm traveling through Georgia on my way to Tennessee and I just seen a boat with a General Lee paint job! It looked really good, I wish I coulda got a pic. In years past where I'm going in Tennessee I've seen a truck with the same......hope I will see it again.....pix if possible!

we just thought of something. I had to drive the car after Jam had and she's a couple inches taller than me, so naturally I had to move the seat up. I couldn't help but think later, "Did Luke constantly have to move the seat up after Bo had driven the General? Did Bo have to keep moving it back? Could Luke even reach the pedals after Bo had driven? Or do race cars like that keep the seats in one position and the drivers just have to deal with it?" Seems like a trivial thing, but just one of those everyday occurances that you wonder if the Dukes ever had to deal with.

As many of those cars that got jumped and wrecked, surely, surely, some how, some of them have survived, and not been fixed, and some guy somewhere, has a wrecked one on his property somewhere, he tells a story like "this one was used in the jump in episode blah blah...." Surely, theres a guy like that somewhere, who has as wrecked General Lee, just one of the many random Chargers, painted up like the General Lee, and then jumped, and then scrapped. I assume, they used parts from some of them, and many were sold to junk yards and or whatever the case may have been....... but, surely, some have survived and are just sitting around somewhere, wrecked still from the jumps?…

Reading about Jaak's General Lee Pushbar and wheels I wondered, what do the people of HazzardNet like the most of have on their General Lee? Basically what is your Dream General Lee? I'd like to know. I can tell anyone interested were one of the (maybe) real General Lee's are. it's at a gas station right outside of Surgoinsville, TN. To get there you get on 25-E I believe and it's on the right if your heading North i think and on the left of course going south. It looks like it has been jumped and is faded and all but you can still tell what it is. And another thing it's rumored to be a real one nobody really knows.

say call me a nut but I had a vision of a General of my own. Picture a white '67 Mustang hard top with the rebel flag on the roof and instead of 01 there'll be a 02 on the doors and the name "Traveller" instead of GeneralLee. Hi y'all. I bought this kit for $19.97 at the PatCatans Craft Store in 2017. I assembled with General Lee plans for it. I need the roof text, flag, and 01 stickers. Where can I get them? Thanks for any help y'all can give me.

I mean, there are the obvious stuff like the 01 and General Lee and confederate flag and everything, but could someone please list out for me everything that sets General Lee apart from a plain jane 69 Charger? I plan on building one after I finish my current project(67 Mustang). I love building cars and it only makes sense that I build a General Lee since I love the show and car so much. So please give me any and all specs you guys have so I can make it as accurate as possible. And if at all possible, let me know where I can get some of the rarer parts(like the wheels, etc.). Hey y'all I saw a post on CGLFC about Lee 2 and how it had concrete in the trunk.Now I thought Lee 1 wasn't crushed because it had concrete in the trunk.If that's the case then what happened to Lee 2,the jumped Mary Kayes car,the police car that jumped with Mary Kayes car ,and Lee 5? And I also remember reading somewhere that Cliff Shaw (the junkyard owner) got around 50 cars when Dukes finished in Georgia.Somehow I find this hard to believe because that means that practically everyone car used would have a double,and both of them sold off to Cliff.Does anybody know anything about the number of cars that Cliff got? in the first 5 episodes of the dukes of hazzard the general has a small pushbar with Georgia syle letters, then when the show goes to california it has a small pushbar with california style letters, then in the episode goodbye general lee it has the big pushbar with the califronia syle letters

HI there, can anyone please advise me re. the Dixie horn? I know the JC Whitney one,and the correct number ofr it etc etc, but it would cost me a lot ot get one shipped over here to the UK. Ebay UK has a lot of more reasonably priced horns that seem to be made by 'Fisa'; can anyone please advise as to whether these are any good, and if they play the correct 12 note tune? Many thanks! Watched the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction most of the past few nights. John Schneider's General Lee affectionately known as Bo's General Lee sold for $450,000. He drove it on stage , played the dixie horn and then got on the roof and got the crowd to sing " Good Ol' Boys'" and said a few times that it was the most recognizable car in the world. I was in a department store yesterday looking at the magazine rack and the General Lee caught my eye. It was on the front of a small magazine that was advertising classic MOPARs. Inside there was a General for sale in Missouri for $70,000. (my wife doesn't like the idea of cashing out my retirement fund to buy it). I was pretty thrilled to see the General!
