Hello my fellow Dukes of Hazzard fans... I bring y'all sad news. Aneesh A. Sehgal President of The Official Dukes Of Hazzard Fan Club has passed away.

Did you ever notice Boss's nephew Huey Hogg, had a brother named Dewey Hogg and he only appeared in one episode but it made me notice, Huey, Dewey,........remember Donald Duck's 3 nephews? Huey, Dewey and Louie! We never got to see a " Louie" though, unfortunately! I think the DOH could've/should've run for a lot longer than it did! Maybe they would've eventually had a " Louie" Hogg!

There's a new series I started on the Facebook page that I thought should really be posted here, so I'll be adding them here too.

I am 33 years old. And I still recall my first exposure to the Dukes TV show. I believe I was 6 years old. I think The Incredible Hulk was still on. My mother was watching the tube when I saw a colorful racing car jumping. It was bright orange; had the lettering of "General Lee" on the roof; a Confederate flag on the roof and the numbers "01" on the doors. At 6 years old, I was just enchanted by the car. I soon learned that the TV show was called The Dukes of Hazzard. There were cousins Bo, Luke, Daisy, their Uncle Jesse; their friend Cooter Davenport and their enemies Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane. They also had friend with honest deputy Enos Strate. …

Can anyone provide episode titles that feature Cooter's brown chevy tow truck? I believe its just season one but I could be wrong. I know its featured heavily in Repo Men, but I need to know the others. Thanks in advance for any help! Mark

I don't know if this has been brought up before but I think I have the reason as to why the Dukes were pulled from television. With the change of all digital TV coming on FEB 09 ,Blue-ray and HD dvd players along with plasma or lcd High def tv's ....the Dukes look "dirty" on Tv. If you take a look at tv land and shows like I love Lucy and M*a*s*h* along with movies on TCM or AMC have all been cleaned up and digitaly remasterd in high def....somthing DOH lacks Even the 70+ year old Three Stooges Movies are getting put out on dvd in high-def now. I think if the Dukes want to make it back on the tube then WB is gonna have to step up and get to work on a restoration project f…

Hi all. Normally, a cast replacement is a bad idea, but the boys they got temporarily to switch for Bo and Luke were great. They just weren't Bo and Luke, that's all. Nowadays, if a network makes a cast replacement it's very likely to ruin the show/movie and/or the characters. Also, Byron Cherry made me remember Terence Hill with that blonde hair of his and his adorable smile.

I"m trying to find out what episode it was that the green machine sucked Enos' pants, belt, and gun off. I think he had metal in his pockets. Also, what episode was it when Rosco lit Boss Hogg's hat on fire? Thanks for the help...

We all remember from the first Dukes reunion movie Rosco became Boss, Would anyone out there like to see Hughie as Boss ? If They make another reunion movie, I would even though I'd love to pound the hay out of him for what he did to the Duke's in the past it seems fit the Hughie should become Hazzard's new Boss. What are y'alls thoughts about this ?

How many times has he landed his butt in the Hospital their were 3 injury episodes " Brotherly Love , Goodbye General Lee , and In this Corner Luke Duke . I ain't wrong here it seemed to me that because he was the lead Character that he would suffer most of the serious injuries not that I didn't enjoy seeing him lying in a hospital bed Unconicous he looked so hansom even though he was hurt what are some of y'all's Opinions about this ? and which ones are your favorite Luke Duke injury episodes ?

My idea of the perfect place to live and the closest thing to heaven on earth, would be to live in Hazzard. Small, slow, simple, everybody knows everybody, laid back society, etc. etc. I usually watch it when I'm going to bed at night and fall asleep to it. It's very relaxing to see that, after living life all day. I go through the whole series, in order and it takes me better than a year, because I watch the same ones over and over, before I change the DVD. This is one of the few shows I like so much, that I never get tired of seeing it. I haven't seen the latter parts of the episodes in a long time, because I always fall asleep...lol ! If I could stay awake to see them…

Did they drink real beer on the set? I know I heard it was fake at first (because John was only 18), but how about later on?

What're your favorite comments by our beloved balladeer? From the episode The Treasure of Soggy Marsh they are: "We're about to see an interesting experiment in physics, the one about the irresistible force and the immovable object...and somebody better duck!" "Now what kind of fella could see a woman that looks like that and that's all he can think of to say. He must be a city boy." The one that ALWAYS comes to mind is "The Hazzard County carwarsh" when Roscoe, his deputies and their cars all wind up in a lake.

Has anyone else gotten a free ticket for Duke's movie. I just got the season three for my birthday and in side of it was a ticket. I'm still not sure if I'll go.

Wow.. the packaging and 9 dvds in this.. i paid $32 at walmart for it. All the cds have an individual character on it... luke, bo, daisy, uncle jesse, cletus, cooter,boss hogg, roscoe, and the general lee. I am really impressed with this.. its the best looking one.. i'm gonna go watch the extras now...Later y'all.

Despite the absence of John and Tom, I have to say storywise, this was a very good season. Still though, doesn't seem right not seeing Bo and Luke in the General Lee.

Anybody else ever wonder how long of a trip it was from Hazzard to Atlanta?

I've seen two things recently that have given me hope. An article about Ray Kohn's jump in Detroit mentioned that the flag wasn't a big issue since people like Dukes so much. I'm pretty bad with finding stuff on the web but I saw an article about how even the mayor had a picture taken with the General. (If someone can refind that and post the link here I'd appreciate it). I also opened my Sunday newspaper and saw a section called Parade that has been around in Sunday's paper as long as I can remember. On the front was characters from the TV series Dallas comparing what those stars made to modern stars (adjusted for inflation). Inside was a picture of Bo and Luke with…

There is a funny scene I have stuck in my head, but I can't remember what episode it's from. Bo and Luke are are hiding in the back of Cooter's truck when Rosco pulled them over.....Rosco wants to search the truck and Cooter says "you can search, but whatever you do stay out the front of the truck...."....then Luke hooks Rosco's car up to the tow truck, so when they drive away they take Rosco's car with them. Very funny scene....

Does anyone know? Why did the creators of this show give them that last name? Any particular reason?

I don't know if this has been done before or not, but I was reading on some of the threads how we love our DVD collections but never get a chance to watch them..I was thinking how for me, having a reason to watch, other than my own happines, sometimes makes me feel not quite so guilty for indulging in all things Duke... All that said, I wondered what were the thoughts on having a Dukes DVD Club (similar to a book club) where every week we watch the same episode and set aside a meeting time to talk about it.... is that a good idea? Bad? Is there interest? None? Maryanne, Muffin, Brian...what do you think.... It was just a random thought...

Looking at the Opening Titles for the First and Second Seasons, am I right in thinking that there are some unused film shots used? I'm thinking particularly of the following shots.... 1. Close-up of Ben Jones smiling and pushing his cap up. 2. Close-up of Denver Pyle pointing his finger. 3. Close-up of John Schneider before the General Lee jumps over the mound of dirt. Can anyone help me here?
