Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

I heard that Tom suffered a black eye in the first reunion movie they tried to cover it up by putting make-up on but if look close at the last scene when him and john are standing in front of the bus you can see it . And they also tried to hide it by making him stand sideways in that scene when Rosco is confessing his crime to mama jo ". I also heard from john himself that Tom is accident prone he has fallen down in his own bathtub at his apartment.

Is it just me, or were none of the original interior sets used in this movie? Not to mention Uncle Jesse's house was completely different from the show. Never thought he'd be one to tear down his ancestor's house and all.

Now, is it just me, or has CMT not been showing the Dukes as much as they have before?? I thought the schedule was 7 PM, Monday through Friday??? It seems like in the past two weeks, every night I turned CMT on, at 7, there was something else on, anything but the Dukes.....is CMT trying to cut back on the Dukes? You don't think they'd possibly take them off syndication?? I will be pretty darn mad if they do!! I think it's safe to say the Dukes are still their highest rated show, if not then one of the highest! My girlfriend thought maybe since all the seasons are out on DVD, that's why they might take them off the air....IDK, I think as long as the Dukes are on the air, t…

I have always been curious as to why they never did a flashback story on when Bo , Luke, and Daisy ended up at the farm and I know that Bo and Luke were little babies when they came to the farm because in A Baby For The Dukes", Uncle Jesse says that Bo and Luke were about that size. Daisy was six when she came I would have really liked to have seen an episode like that. :p

I saw the last episode of Dukes last night. This means, the series is starting over again! Just telling yall if your interested.

Has anyone had any problems with the Season 4 DVD? Just got a Region 2 DVD set from play.com and I found that Disc 4 would not play on either side from about 36 minutes in. I sent that back and the replacement arrived today. It's got exactly the same problem on Disc 4. It either skips and pauses from 36 minutes onward or won't start to play any of the later episodes. Have I just been really unlucky to get two faulty DVD sets or is there known to have been problems with that particular DVD?

On High Octane, I see a Ford flareside-don't know what year. In some episodes I saw a 1/2 ton, then a few minutes later a 3/4 ton. In most episodes he has a 73-75 Ford, but in Trouble at Cooter's he had a 76-77 for a couple of scenes. Why was this done? Is it because they thought no one would notice? Or was it done to make the show goofier, therefore adding to the comedy? Another example of this is in High Octane the lady revenue agent has a Ford Granada with round headlights. Next scene she's driving a newer Granada with sqaure headlights.

...the last DOH aired(if the airdate on the DVDs are correct). Later this evening, I'll relive Feb 8 1985 and watch Opening Night at the Boar's Nest. I doubt I saw it that day. I wasn't into DOH as much as a kid. I watched it every now and then. I think I watched more reruns after '85 then I did when it originally aired. I was very young during those days-6 years old when it started and 12 at the end. At that age, I didn't take any TV show seriously-just whatever I felt like watching.

I would like to be either the 3rd Duke boy cousin or Cooter's employee to help with the cars because he got too busy to handle it himself. Either way, I'd like to ride a super fast motorcycle like a 1973 Kawasaki Z1 or 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 that could out jump the General by a long shot. I'd have the Confederate flag painted on the bike's gas tank. I would have grown up in the big city-Atlanta-and have tattoos, long hair, and listen to rock and roll. And if I was Cooter's employee, I'd like to become Daisy's husband!!!

There's been alot of bashing of season 7-not on this site though. Here's my opinion. Yes it was different. There were weird things involved-an alien and a robot. A trip to Hollywood. Flashbacks of the past(Happy Birthday General Lee and Go West Young Dukes). It just was not like the other seasons. But I wouldn't say it's the worst. If you asked me which season was the worst, I really couldn't answer that question. It had some cheesy, even stupid episodes, but so did the other seasons. Maybe just on a slightly larger scale. I'm new here so I apologize in advance if this has been brought up somewhere else. I did a search & found a 'Rosco's Funniest Moments' but not for everyone & everything. What are the funniest moments to you? I laugh all the time at things in DOH, which is why I love it so much, but there's a few that have had me in tears. Even though i live in the UK, i cannot always buy dvds that are uncompatible with Region 2 DVD players but a funny thing happened when i put the dvd into my tv/dvd combi - IT PLAYED which is really weird because Region 1 dvds don't work with Region 2 players. It may have been the last season but it sure was good. My Fave Episode(s) were: Happy Birthday General Lee Cool Hands, Bo and Luke Go West, Young Dukes (Bo/Joe looked kinda cute with that Moustache) Sittin Dukes When You Wish Upon A Hogg (What a cute sight to see Bo and Luke sleeping) Enos and Daisy's Wedding (That wedding dress was so not nice though)

So what does everybody think of last years and the one coming out direct to dvd this year sometime. And also did you know that Knight Rider the movie come out in 2008. And the they said that Miami Vice kind of bombed with people I think Hollywood is running out of ideas for movies now.

Remember when they brought in the box of shirts "Hogg's Fight of the Century" ? either just a few on the top really said that, and the rest of the box was just shirts.... or, the whole box was full of those shirts.... now, Im just curious, where did those shirts go? and also, like, in other cases, you see like various stuff in the background, just random stuff, J.D. Hogg this, and J.D. Hogg that, and on and on. .. . . . all those episodes, all those tiny details in the backgroudns, in office settings, and outside places as well.......... where did all these small things dissappear off too?
