    • I found these on YouTube. Sanford and Son words   Fred G. Sanford and Lamont his only son Run a junkyard, but no work ever gets done Just a lot of crazy things down there Like Aunt Esther, who is not a beauty queen But she'll tell ya, just exactly what she means If you plan to visit just beware But don't forget all the other characters like Grady Wilson Bubba Bexley too Rollo Lawson Donna, Julio and Ah- Chew! But there's others, who come by there to unwind Once they get there, well it's always a good time for Fred G. Sanford and his........ Son! I found another version of Sanford and Son. It fits quite well too don't you think?   We gonna watch Sanford and Son. My name Fred Sanford. An' I run this salvage store. We got antiques. Tell me what you're lookin' for. We got everything that you might need and more. Oh what do you know. Here comes my dummy son. That's Lamont pullin' up. He just got back from pickin' up some junk in the truck. Oh no it's gonna be the big one. An' that's my story. An' it didn't go as planned. Everything I own is second hand.

    • This is a good question. After I turned 65 in April of last year (I'm 7 days younger than Bo) I started thinking about it more.  I have been so blessed in life except for the one great tragedy of losing my only child in a car accident. There is really nothing more I feel like I need to accomplish in life except for one thing and I have been working on that lately.  I know we aren't supposed to talk about religion but considering the circumstances ( and considering the folks of Hazzard were religious) maybe the moderators will let it slide this time.  I love astronomy and I always got tired of people claiming that you have to believe in science or religion. You can't believe in both because they both can't be right. To counter that I have been working on three projects. One of them is a novel. It is classified as Christian science fiction and I've been working on it on and off for 10 years. The other is a children's book that targets teenagers like my grandson who declared last year that he is an atheist because science can answer everything and the things it can't answer now it will eventually find answers to. The third is a power point presentation that proves that God and science are indeed compatible, not combative. I am going to present it to a church group and see where it goes from there. If it ever gets on You Tube I could let you folks know.  I sure hope we get more responses to your question Tom.
    • I take deaths of the DOH stars very hard.  I only met him once. That was on Oct 23, 1982. As I recall, that day was his first wife's 30th birthday. It was at a car show in Erie Pa.  This is going to be a tough few days for me.....and millions of other fans. My condolences to all his fans here.
