  1. Tim, I reactivated the link, and put it directly to the push bar template thread on the cglfc site. We don't mind the occassional link to wherever else, as long as it pertains to the topic in discussion, and goes to a relevant answer. I don't know where your earlier link landed, but if it was a blind alley and left the reader to "go fish" that could have been the issue. In the past we had issues with people putting up "go to my site!!" links all the freaking time; they'd register here in our Forums but for the sole purpose of acting as a recruitment agent for another website. Thus began our policy of keeping outside links to a reasonable minimum. If somebody sees cglfc links all over the posts, they may think it's OK to post links to their own club/site all over, and then before ya know it, it's outta control. And HNet gets in the awkward position of trying to explain why we're letting one club or site get linked to all the time, but not another one. Of course we know you, and Cap'n Redneck, and I was friends with Dale the Bold, may he rest in peace. So please understand that this policy is not singling out the cglfc but is part of broader policy meant to balance out everybody's interests - including ours. Thank you for understanding. If you have any questions, always feel welcome to PM me or any other admin here. Or email us at webmaster (at) HazzardNet(dot) com.
  2. Howdy atlfan, Same thing came up on another post, so you're not alone in your thoughts. Basically CMT has been using Dukes episides to fill in the 1 a.m and 2 a.m. timeslots for quite a while. And the days the show is aired varies widely; sometimes it's on Saturdays, sometimes not. Sometimes it's only aired during the first part of the week, like Monday thru Wed...but lately it's been on Thurs and Fridays too. The sequence of episodes is random, and yes, they're ignoring the Coy & Vance era. No disrepect but I can understand why; the viewership is probably very scant for those episodes. While we're glad CMT is showing the Dukes at all, we'd love to see them in a better timeslot since this is a family show. Our prior efforts to contact the program director at CMT were met with a brick wall. As I said to the other poster, I'll try again, but I won't be holding my breath for an answer. Naturally, as soon as we hear something about changes to the Dukes timeslots with CMT we'll let you know. Every now and then I post a CMT update on the homepage, so check there as well, and check your local cable listings for the most up-to-date scheduling in your area.
  3. CMT is using Dukes to fill up odd, late-night timeslots and they've been doing this for awhile. They are not airing eps in order, except if it's a two-parter, they'll air the second half of the ep in order. Thankfully. They seem to be rotating the same few dozen episodes and ignoring the Coy and Vance era altogether. Probably because the Coy and Vance era does not draw in as many viewers. We've attempted to contact the program director at CMT and we've been consistently ignored, which is a fine how-do-ya-do when you consider all the bloody free promotion we've given them over the years. I'll try again; I'm in one of those ornery moods.
  4. Mark, as of right now you have been given full posting abilities. Enjoy!
  5. And now, something crunchy. A little metal for the masses...
  6. The Brewers bit the dust tonight and fell to the Cardinals. I didn't have money (or worse) on this, did I?
  7. So far so good, with the server migration. Looks like we haven't lost a beat; no downtime has been reported. Great job Mufn. Sal-ute!!
  8. I have no idea. Haven't seen a post from her in a very long time. Over the years we've seen people wander off and eventually come back, so hopefully she'll surface again soon.
  9. Ya know, I have to read all the posts in all the topics just to keep an eye on what Roger's gonna say next. Look what I miss when I'm not payin' attention! But he's right, I enjoy the harrassment, it's all in good spirit. Welcome, Jaded Phoenix. Make yourself, and your muse, at home.
  10. My condolences Daney. HNet will always be here to return to, when you can.
  11. I kinda started it with my smarmy little comment, my apologies as well. There's a lot of dry tinder laying around on those subjects these days; tough times will do that. ANYHOW! Back to the usual shenanigans. Hoss, I got another idea/request for Hazzard signs. In the early eps, maybe 1st season, there were some fun signs inside of the Boar's Nest. I think one was the "Boom Boom Room" ? I gotta re-watch and figure it out. I've got a basement bar in my house (though I don't drink that much, the bar came with the house) and I'm thinking of decorating it ala Boar's Nest. Since I got the poles in the middle of the floor too and all that. (they hold up the house, I'd better keep 'em.) I can't be the only nut on the planet who wants to make a basement bar Boar's Nest (say that five times fast) so any resources you have to offer would be an epic contribution to the fandom, adding to your already considerable fame.
  12. Thanks ya'll! And how are people making these car-cakes? It must take tremendous patience. 3 hours to make, 10 minutes to eat. *urp!*
  13. Brianette? Brianinna? Briannella?? Those are new twists...maybe "MaryAnne" would be a better choice! Of course, it's not her birthday. But I dont' want this baby girl to grow up mean onconna having a name she didn't like, then hunt me down and kick my posterior.
  14. Thank ya! Those pictures are great! The basset cake-bandit is very appropriate, and the General Lee cake looks awesome. The GL details look like they're made of frosting?? That could be the first completely edible General Lee I've ever seen. Very cool! Y'all gave me a big smile with the birthday greetings. Thanks again!
  15. Next time the local elections are coming up, I'm gonna print out and pin up a bunch of these re-elect Rosco posters all over town. Heh heh heh. Actually, Rosco in office would be an improvement over some of the chuckle-heads we've got in office now.
  16. It's that time of year, when stuff starts to fly south. Like, our server. If you've experienced slow loading times on any of our pages, we apologize. We've been aware of the issue and are taking steps to resolve it. We have a server migration scheduled for this weekend. It's possible that there may be some temporary downtime of HazzardNet in the process. Hang in there, and we'll have all the scuffs and dents hammered out before ya know it. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
  17. "Not only did I shoot out the radiator, I ripped your CB apart, used up two of your road flares and wasted about three rounds of your shotgun shells. Plus, I busted off your side mirror earlier when I sideswiped your car, and you can add body work to the damage report." *walking around the battered, leaking Caprice* "Looks like you'll be stuck in Hazzard for a couple weeks. Ya know, Jack...I think we can work somethin' out over the car repairs and that old ticket. Wouldja care to negotiate the fine points over a beer at the Boar's Nest?"
  18. And here's an ode to missing parts. One word song title and one word band name, kind of a double bingo on this one.
  19. Ridin' the Storm Out - REO Speedwagon
  20. Now that's a tough one! Dang, I never thought of asking questions off the sountrack album/CD. My first guess is "rabbits" but I don't think that's right. I haven't heard that song in ages, but I got a copy of the soundtrack around here...somewhere!
  21. Nice job! You're also welcome to post artwork in the Image Gallery.
