Jesse comes around the final corner and looks at the long home stretch to the finish line. Garrett is in the lead. Hobie is right on his back bumper. There is a gap between Hobie and third place Skipper. Emma Tisdale is neck and neck with Jesse, now quite a ways behind Skipper. This thing will be over soon folks. Unless something changes dramatically Skipper will finish 3rd. But 1st and 4th are anybody's guess.

I've been up all night. Had a reaction to a shot. Can barely move my arm and couldn't get comfortable no matter how I laid. It felt like Mike Tyson was punching my shoulder all night.

I had no idea that 'Ol Red was that old of a song. I'm not much of a Kenny fan but I'll admit that Islands in the Stream was (and still is) amazing. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. As I recall it was number 1 on country and rock charts for a long time. One of the most successful songs in history.

I agree. I used to screw off at work all the time...and that was without knowing my job was about over. Imagine how bad I would have been if I knew I was getting the ax.

They did get a little sloppy in season 7. I wonder at what point in season 7 were they told there wouldn't be a season 8.

But wait! Skipper hit a bump and several life jackets fell out of the Minnow. Most of them landed right on Meadowmufn's windshield. Her view is blocked and she went off the track. She hasn't crashed but has briefly come to a stop. She then used her wipers to clean the life jackets off the window but has dropped way back before getting back in the race. Looks like she doesn't have a chance now.

That's what happens when you are drinking shine, driving in a race and posting on HazzardNet. It's hard to constipate on three things at once. Hobie's constipation will improve after I win this race.

She's beautiful but she's not at Nedra Volz's level of beautiful.

Jesse gets on the CB to Skipper "This ain't looking too good Skipper. If it wasn't me who was going to win this race I was hoping you were going to. But I don't see how we can catch either one of these guys. And to make matters worse it's getting downright dangerous back here. It's starting to look like your boat hitch is starting to come loose. I'd hate to see it come undone....but it would make you faster. But the bad news is (Jesse starts singing) The Minnow would be lost...The Minnow would be lost. And it's getting dangerous on my other side too. Emma keeps staring at me and taking her eyes off the race track. I'm really starting to be sorry I agreed to this. Remind me to tell Hobie next year I'm not doing it."
