  1. If you go to Denver Pyle's section in the Cast and Characters forum you can find what I typed. It was Beverly Hillbillies....but Jesse did it first....long before 1979.
  2. You are definitely a great addition to the HazzardNet. Thanks again for joining. I always used to joke that Jesse Duke invented ethanol in 1979 but then I saw something older where they put moonshine in the gas tank. It might have been the Andy Griffith Show. I think I posted it here on the HN but my memory isn't what it used to be.
  3. Brilliant prequel. I'm loving it....and it stays true to the spirit of the original show. We're lucky to have you here on the greatest website on the internet.
  4. Ernest T Bass and Ernest P Worrell....lol
  5. Ernest throwing rocks through Boss's window to get back at Boss for framing the Duke boys wouid have been funny.
  6. BERLE'S Auto BODY and Paint (near Artie BENDER)
  7. While we are on the subject of history, Sleepy City became HaZZard.
  8. You surprise me. I thought it would be High Octane, Follow that Still, Days of Shine and Roses, the Legacy or something with a moonshine theme. Never waste a sip!
  9. You were lucky you had them on tape. I remember how tough it was having to wait a whole week to see them again. It reminded me of when I was younger and the sad feeling I got Saturday afternoon, knowing I wouldn't see another cartoon for a week. When Enos's series came out I was excited to get 2 Dukes shows in one week (even though Enos wasn't a Duke). Eventually Dukes reruns came out on cable and I had a friend who lived in town record it on VHS. I still have them all even though I only use my DVDs.
  10. You are right. This is a great episode. There is a lot I don't like about modern times but you are correct that it is good that we have cracked down on drunk driving. Homer Griggs' store just kinda popped up out of nowhere since Rhuebottoms has always been the place to go. But in the Georgia episodes they even showed a Western Auto hardware store. I bet every town had one of those.
  11. That would be awesome. I'd hit "like" on some more on your posts but for some reason we are limited on our reactions and I just ran out.
  12. You are going to fit in here just fine! We are excited to have you and hope you stay around a long time. I love those Georgia episodes too. In fact, High Octane is my favorite episode of all time....even though I don't drink! Jesse is my favorite character now because I am becoming him (slower than Tim Allen became Santa in The Santa Clause). When the show first aired Enos was my favorite. I loved it when he got his own series. Boss is a good choice as a favorite. The man was made for that role. Nobody in the world could have done it better.
  13. This is exciting. We always love to see these builds and hope you post a lot of pictures of the progress. I can't help you but I'm sure somebody else will.
  14. Rosco will throw you UNDER the jail.
  15. He hasn't posted for awhile and might not respond. Welcome to the HazzardNet though. Tell us about your love of Dukes. Been a fan long? Have a favorite character, episode, season, vehicle or scene? Ever met any of the stars? Seen all the episodes?
  16. I can't help you either but hope you stay around and ask something we know the answer to. Welcome to the HazzardNet! Good luck finding your answer....probably won't happen here though.
