  2. Miz Tisdale's dirt bike! You knew that would make me smile!
  3. I can't think of the answer but I know this. Is it from the same scene where Daisy mentions her Waylon cassette tape in her Dixie jeep? Edit: now that I think of it, it might have been an 8-track since they just said "tape".
  4. 4 days of being sick. Now my wife is sick. I just took a covid test and it was negative. Rain finally stopped.

  7. Luke sighed "The way I figure is we gotta get rock solid proof that Boss is pulling a scam on Bill and we gotta get it as soon as possible....before the press gets ahold of it." Bill perked up, now having a glimmer of hope that he might still have a career left if this can be contained. "So, now that Garrett and Roy know what's going on, we gotta get Cooter and Daisy in on it." It was easy to tell on Luke's face that the wheels inside his brain were spinning. He snapped his fingers crisply. "I got it! Remember last week when Cooter took an old odd shaped bowl from Jesse's old still parts. He made a long distance listening device out of it." "What can we do with something like that?" Bo asked. Luke responded "Not us. We can't stick our head out of here but maybe Cooter and Daisy can make a recording from the outside of the cave of Boss admiting he's trying to extort money from a famous NASCAR driver." Jesse was not one bit pleased "Oh no, that would mean putting Daisy in danger." He then looked at Bill and hated the thought that he may have driven in his last race if they don't do anything. "....but I'm sure that's a risk she would want to take." Jesse smiled but it was a nervous smile.

  9. 3 days of being sick with no relief in sight. We're getting a lot of rain. Quite a few roads flooded and unpassable.

  11. No better today. I hope it's only a 3 day thing like most of my colds. Congrats on paying it off Garrett. Be careful jumping over those creeks though. Most mechanics aren't as cheap as Cooter.
  12. I just took my grandson to the new King King and Godzilla movie. I don't know how their contracts are worded but those two do whatever they want anyways.

  15. Feeling sick. Sore throat. Stuffed up. Achey and sore all over. Exhausted. Buttermilk ain't fixin' it and I'm out of Hobie's Finest. Time to fire up Black Tillie Hobie.
  16. RogerDuke replied to Garrett Duke's topic in NASCAR
    He's not Chase Elliott
  17. oil (Dallas came on after Dukes. The Ewing family who made their fortune in oil was loosely based on the Hunt family who founded the Kansas City Chiefs)
  18. I'm so happy for you Spike. It was fantastic. The clouds moved away just in time. I got to see totality with my 10" inch diameter telescope. Breathtaking.

Have you been into Hobie's Finest or did you drink some of my expired buttermilk...or both? It's Chase Elliott!!!
