  1. *angry voice* I don't know what yer 20 is and I don't care. I want you to git on home now and do what I told ya to do. I want ya to pick up Luke and head on over to Willow Swamp and see Roxanne Miller. I told her you'd be there and a Duke keeps his word. *pauses two seconds* Now git!!
  2. Let Old Mother Nature Have Her Way (Carl Smith)
  3. daisyxenos, Daisy, texasdaisy09 and B.L. got all three right. Which of these were on the show? Old River Road or Bobcat Canyon Highway Simon's Peak or Hogg's Salt Mine (episode names) Funny Money or Money to Burn
  4. We got our rural address numbers changed a few years ago too because of the 911 system. I wasn't too happy about it because we got a 5 digit number and my old number was 3 digits. That wouldn't be so bad except my 3 digits were 320 and I thought that was pretty cool because the General Lee's license number is CNH 320. My grandfather used to call all the rural roads around here after the names of the people who setteled them originally. Lots of those roads are still named after the original settlers but many have them have changed names. Since not everybody accepts change well, some roads get stuck with two different names.
  5. I don't know if it's snowing in Hazzard County or not but it sure is snowing in Erie County now. Just about everything's closed down including Interstate 90. I90 runs coast to coast from Boston all the way to Seattle so I imagine it's inconviencing a few folks. Erie County was even mentioned on CNN this morning.
  6. *walks around to the back of barn and notices the General Lee isn't there, or anywhere for that matter. Walks over to his pick-up truck and turns channel 22 on his C.B.* Shepherd to lost sheep. Shepherd to lost sheep. You got your ears on Bo?
  7. Well texasdaisy09, if you check out the post before yours, you'll see the results. Hey Daisy, here's a definition for you... DaisyMaeDuke.... -noun 1. A girl who should not be allowed to own a dictionary -idiom 2. A girl who causes a lot of trouble if she uses something that she shouldn't be allowed to own
  8. LOL That's another one that's not clear. According to "Sound of Music-Hazzard Style" the Dukes live on Old Mill Road. According to "Treasure of Hazzard" the Dukes live on Mill Road. According to "The Runaway" the Dukes live on Mill Pond Road. You could just say that they live on Old Mill Pond Road. LOL Being a country boy myself I can testify that it's not unusual for the same road to have different names.....especially names that are similiar.
  9. Me and You and a Dog Named Boo
  10. LOL Thanks Daisy. That's one reason I love the HazzardNet so much. Even a redneck like me can make it through the door and be accepted. To quote that famous philosopher Brad Paisley, "I'm so much cooler online"
  11. Welcome to our Dukes of Hazzard website Ludix03. Your English is pretty good. I wish I spoke French. We hope you like it here and stay a long time.
  12. I keep getting kicked off of here. We had power outages and it must have messed the computer up.

  13. Do You Believe in Life after Love? (Cher)
  14. Thanks Daisy. Why didn't you post that definition before I tried it? *rubs bump on back of head from frying pan*
  15. money (after all, Boss Hogg rakes it in)
  16. Nice try Daisy but I'll still find a way to make a couple dollars so I can get in.....even if I have to sell some of my egg nog. Sorry to disappoint you but I'll do whatever it takes to be there and embarress you. I wonder if that couple who crashed the White House State Dinner are going to be at our party?
  17. LOL I can see little Zoe looking like Max on the Grinch. It will be funny when you're going down a hill and turn around to see Zoe standing on the back of the sled smiling and waving.
  18. It sure would be nice if you could show up Daney. You've been on the HazzardNet for a long time so you sure would brighten our day if you could make it.
  19. I agree. That was cute. I wonder if a writer came up with that nickname or if Peggy (or one of the other cast members) came up with it. Hmmm, I might call my wife that and see how she reacts.
  20. shovel
  21. LOL MaryAnne had so much fun at last year's party she can't even remember it. Maybe if she drinks too much egg nog this year again we can all slip out while she's not looking. By the way MaryAnne, did I mention how much I like your idea of how the last one left at the party has to clean up?!
  22. Hi Garrett. I'm pretty sure that there was no mention of Swamp Molly being related to the Dukes. As far as Cousin Alice goes, I'm under the impression that she's not related either. I took it to mean that she's Alice's cousin, not the Dukes cousin. They did say that Molly "saved Jesse from the Feds in 1936.".....whatever that means. Maybe "Feds" and revenuers are the same thing.

  23. We're having ferocious winds here in northwest Pennsylvania tonight (Wed) so this is a pretty big weather system. We're supposed to get hit Thursday and real hard Friday. I know a few people who are going to the Steelers/Browns game in Cleveland on Thursday night. I think I would have tried to sell those tickets. Well, if it was a Dukes related event I would have probably gone though....LOL....a feller's gotta have his priorities.
  24. Vice Grips
  25. From "People's Choice" on season 2 the location of Lake Chickamahonny (and Boss's fishing cabin) is only described as being near Mule Road. This is the only time Mule Road is mentioned on the series. From "Coltrane vs. Duke" on season 4, Lake Chickamahoney is near Mill Road, not Mule Road. I bet that neither episode was clear on a more precise location for the lake or I would have written it down in my notebook but I couldn't say for sure so I would recommend watching those two episodes. Let me know if you don't have either ep. I'd be glad to watch them and get back to you.
