  2. Artie Bender (Hey dukefan, are you talking about the ledger with the little confederate flag attatched to it or the other one? It's not a good idea to get them mixed up...LOL)
  3. After reading a post from texasdaisy09 recently I thought it would be interesting to learn more about other folks here on the HazzardNet by posting the favorite 10 things in life that define who you are. Please don't list more than 10 but less than 10 is fine. Here's mine: 1) God 2) my family 3) USA 4) my home and woods 5) Dukes of Hazzard and the HazzardNet 6) the book I'm writing 7) astronomy 8) sports

  5. Hi Daisy. I hope you had a great weekend. I've been multitasking this evening so it's taken me awhile to respond to your last message. Gotta go. Catch ya tomorrow. Have a good Monday morning. (Not that there's anything good about Monday morning)

  6. dukefan, Denver C, texasdaisy09, Daisy and daisyxenos all got it right. I'm not sure if Daisy reported this in the Hazzard Gazzette or not but Dottie West showed up at the Boar's Nest and sang "Even if You Were Jesse James"
  7. airplane (Concord jets...they were awesome)
  8. I'm not much of a fan of newer country but I do like Jason Aldean since he acts and sounds country. Country music certainly has evolved. You need no more proof of that than just remembering that it used to be called Country and Western. There are no more western singers anymore. I think Marty Robbins was the last one. I think there is going to be another split in country music in the future. It will be divided between country singers and ones who are labeled country but sound like pop. A lot of CMT videos really should be on MTV instead. Rock music has had a number of splits but country is way overdo for one. Some of the artists will have trouble falling into one group or another (like Rascal Flatts) but selling to more than one group of fans will probably benefit them financially.
  9. The Great Santa Claus Chase (Hey this is fun)
  10. Since folks here on the HazzardNet are just about as competitive as Bo and Luke, maybe you could start a "Biggest Loser, Hazzard County" competition. I agree with you Dukes1466. Most of those models are unhealty. Have you seen the Dove Soap commercial where they're teaching young girls self esteem by ignoring those ads? It's pretty good. My wife said that Oprah was promoting it also.
  11. grapes (I know I've mentioned this a couple times before but it's funny how "word association" always turns toward food. I think this is the first time we switched to food after talking about underwear..LOL)

  13. B.L., daisyxenos and texasdaisy09 all got it right. What were Rosco and Enos using as patrol vehicles on "Twin Trouble"? A) 3-wheelers horses C) motorcycles D) bicyces E) none of the above
  14. B.L. and daisyxenos got all three right. Which of these were on the show? Swamp Inn or No-Tell Motel Deer Swamp or Moose Creek (episode names) Swamp Molly or Marsh Martha

  18. Welcome to Hazzard County RobL. I'll have to check that out. Here's an idea, get an extension cord and put your TV and DVD player out in your driveway and jump your General over the TV while the TV is showing the real General Lee making a jump. You might have to try it a few times before you get the timing right. YEEEHHAWWWW!!! We hope you start posting on the other threads too. It's always nice to see a new face in town.
  19. Congratulations to October's Fan of the Month, B.L. Davenport. B.L. is certainly one of the most high profile members on the HazzardNet. She has been here in town for 3 and a half years and has been a fan of the show for over two decades. You can travel on just about any street here on the HN and you'll discover some sign that B.L. has already been there. She has posted her wisdom on nearly every thread imaginable and the HN is a better place because of it. All tolled, B.L. is approaching the 3,000 post mark, averaging nearly 1,000 per year. B.L. has been a regular on the trivia threads as long have they have existed and can often be found in the chat room with one or more of her many friends. She has been active in several fanfics including "Wanted: Dead or Alive", "B.L. Comes Home" and "T'was the Night Before Christmas in Hazzard". She is a genuine country girl who's favorite singers are the likes of Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, The Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama. The quote she has at the bottom of all her posts is "Reality can be beaten with enough imagination." While this is a great quote that certainly applies to our favorite show, the reality here on the HN is that we can't imagine a nicer person than B.L......or one more deserving to be Fan of the Month. Congratulations B.L. Davenport!!!
