  1. Bo 29 Luke 28 Jesse 28 Cooter 15 I know it's going nowhere but it wouldn't seem fair to texasdaisy to drop Cooter at this point. I don't think we should change the rules unless EVERYBODY agrees with it and I'm not sure she will. I suppose eventually somebody will just quit the thread and break the rut we're in.
  2. Denver C, texasdaisy, GeneralLeeGirl, Lizzy and B.L. all got it right. "Happy Birthday General Lee" was the first episode of what season?
  3. Nobody understands why I love the Dukes of Hazzard so much, except other Dukes fans like the good folks on the HazzardNet.
  4. That's so sad.

  6. Summer solstice happened yesterday. The days are now getting shorter.
  7. Welcome to Hazzard County Markus Nitro. You sound like the kind of feller who's going to fit in here just fine. We hope to be hearing a lot more from you. Who's your favorite character? Congratulations on those Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup.

The NASCAR "expert" who I work with, thinks that there is a conspiracy theory in NASCAR to get certain people to win. At first I just thought he was being a sore loser (since he's a Dale Jr fan) but he actually makes a pretty compelling case that involves the ratings, advertising money and how the caution flags are thrown at the races, especially some of the incidents at Sonoma. I don't know enough about NASCAR to know if he knows what he's talking about but he's one of the smartest guys I've ever met so I really respect his opinion and his idea makes a lot of sense to me. I sure wish he could run his thoughts by you Garrett to get your input. I've been trying to get him on the HazzardNet but haven't had any luck yet.
  9. Luke 28 Bo 28 Jesse 27 Cooter 17 (Well I guess we'll just stay in this rut until someone comes up with an idea everybody can agree with. It's wouldn't be right to change the rules in the middle of the game unless every player agrees)
  10. Hi there hazzardboy, You sure are a great addition to the HazzardNet. I hope you stay around a long time because you definitely sound like a serious fan.

  11. Hey there!! I see you're logged in.

  12. Wow, that is awesome. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get that? I'd sure like to get my hands on some sort of memoribilia from the show, especially Denver's. I've tried to get ahold of Denver's relatives but haven't had any luck getting any items. I did get a response from his son's secretary but she said he told her to tell me he didn't have anything available. I'm a little nervous about buying something on the internet. I'm not real trusting of computers because there's so many scammers out there.
  13. texasdaisy got all three. B.L. missed the middle one. The answers to these three can be found on "Gold Fever". Which of these were on the show? D.D. Dillinger from Dallas OR H.H. Harkness from Houston General Andrew Jackson or General Jeb Stuart Perriwinkle Pond or Mount Paron Highway
  14. "Goooooooooollllyyy" is something often said by Gomer Pyle not Denver Pyle.
  15. I agree that it's been stuck for awhile. Should we do something to change that like campaigning or could that create hard feelings? BoJames campaigned against Jesse but that didn't hurt my feelings because I like BoJames so much and she could never make me mad no matter what she did. The problem is that it's possible that other people could get their feelings hurt if their favorite character is being conspired against whether it would be in public or via PMs. Does anybody think we should end it here and call it quits? If not, what can we do to get out of this rut? Let's hear some suggestions. Maybe we shouldn't change a thing and just let it run it's course. So what if it goes on forever. It might be fun to see how long it can last. If somebody doesn't like that plan, they can just drop out. Any other thoughts and ideas?

  17. Wow, where'd you get that at? That's awesome!!......and priceless. Do you know what episode they're from? I'd sure love to get some Denver Pyle memorabilia.
  18. Seven years of filming the Dukes of Hazzard left us with the best DVD collection ever.
  19. I went to a local carnival here in northwestern Pennsylvania tonight and had my orange 01 hat on. One of the guys running the rides got a big smile on his face and pulled out his cell phone and played his General Lee horn ringer. We struck up a conversation and come to find out he logs on to the HazzardNet all the time but has never registered. He even knew yours truly and was familiar with the trivia threads. He also said that his father used to be a member of our HazzardNet family but sadly passed away. He couldn't remember what his screen name was but remembered that it ended in 69 since his dad was such a big fan of a certain 1969 Dodge Charger. It's always cool to meet new Dukes of Hazzard fans. I don't know why I haven't been wearing my 01 hat everywhere I go but after the great conversation I had with this fine young Dukes fan, I'm going to now. He is temporarily without internet access but plans on getting it again soon and logging in. I hope we hear from the "Fireman" soon.

Well the best part of the race is usually the last half hour so hopefully I'll get home in time.

  22. GeneraLLeeGirl sure knows her General Lee trivia. texasdaisy got it right too. What did the lady in charge of the 18-wheeler claim they were testing on "Route 7-11"? A) a back-up beeper GPS C) fuel efficiency standards D) road maps E) tires F) the new duel carbeurator system G) shock absorbers
  23. Thanks for the warning Bo. Quick everybody, get on your helmets and buckle up for safety. The way Bo drives around here, nobody's safe anymore. *runs and ducks for cover*
  24. I know how you feel about the reunion show. For me, it was too sad to see Jesse looking so bad, especially with all three of the younger Dukes gone, leaving him to himself. I suspect a writer never consulted with the fans on that show because a fan would have never left Jesse alone in that condition if they were writing a reunion show. The plot was good besides that though so I have to give the writers some credit. I cried like a baby when Rosco did a tribute to Boss on the reunion show. When I met James Best in January of 2008 I told him how hard that scene was on me. He got very emotional when I said that. If it was that rough on the fans I can only imagine how rough it was on him. By the way, James Best has been in our chat room here on the HazzardNet and has also posted stuff too. Scroll down to his forum to see some of his posts.
  25. Every time I log onto the HazzardNet there's a party going on.
