Old Man Harkness had a heart attack and died the instant he seen him." *Jesse paused for a moment* "But don't worry about me. My ticker feels fine. Ya wanna follow him?" *Jesse clinches his shotgun tightly*

This quote made me laugh but now that I've given it a little more thought, I'm starting to cry.

Okay Garrett you know I'm still trying to figure all this out so this might be a dumb question but I thought Dale Jr didn't make it into the Chase. Why is JJ down so far?

I popped in one of my favorite Stingray episodes today to honor Stephen J Cannell. It was called "Bring Me the Hand That Hit Me" and the mob boss on that episode was the same guy who played the oldest silver thief on "The Hazzardville Horror."

It's October and the trick or treaters will be knocking on your door before you know it. Here at the HazzardNet, we've been blessed since mid July with a guy who has treated us with over 460 posts that have delighted us all.....and that's why HossC has been selected as October's fan of the month. On the "Introduce Yourself" thread Hoss describes himself as an Englishman who has been living in Ireland for 7 years. While he may live in Ireland, his heart's in Hazzard County. Hoss has been a Dukes fan ever since the original series was being aired. At age 12 (1983) he vistited Richmond Virginia and was thrilled to see a General Lee traveling down the freeway. That event was likely one of the reasons Hoss learned to love Chargers and other American muscle cars so much. He collects 1:18 scale diecast cars and his prized pocession is a very rare and valuable black General Lee. A true car fan, Hoss is a huge follower of Formula I racing as well as all other motorsports. Of course the General Lee is just one reason Hoss loves The Dukes of Hazzard so much. To him, the show is a way to escape the realities of this crazy world and enjoy a simpler world that makes more sense and always has happy endings. He has all the seasons on DVD and he loves all the seasons and characters so much he can't pick a favorite. When he's not watching one of the episodes from his complete 7 year collection, Hoss can be found listening to eclectic music, watching Clint Eastwood movies or doing vector based artwork. When he's not doing any of that, he can be found on the HazzardNet where he contributes on a wide range of threads, including asking trivia questions that make our brains spin. Hoss has been one of the best things that has ever happened to the HazzardNet. His computer skills are highly advanced and he's always quick to help when folks have a technical question. There's no question about the fact that Hoss is one of the most devoted Dukes fans anywhere. His contributions to the greatest website on the planet prove it and his friendliness reflects what Hazzard County is all about.

*The thick brush parted and it appeared..... The Duke men marveled as the monster slowly walked toward them. It was just as Jesse remembered it and how Andrew Harkness, Swamp Molly and Cousin Alice had described it. The beast looked 10 foot tall as it got closer. It's leathery looking hide was blotchy with various shades of black and dark green that looked much like alligator skin. It's eyes were red. What looked like dried blood was all over its chest. It walked like a man and was cautious as it approached. Then, it stopped. It grunted and looked up at the net, too far away to be standing in a position where the net could fall on it. The monster tilted his head and looked confused.*

Behaving?...that's the worst thing you can do around here. It's always the innocent folks that get thrown in jail....this is Hazzard County after all.

I don't know either but I'm going to guess Enos fired a pistol. I wanted to say "Gentlemen, the revenuers is coming!" but that was a different episode. Hmmm, was that "Days of Shine and Roses"?

It's sad to hear about Stephen J. Cannell's passing. Even though nothing is close to The Dukes of Hazzard as my favorite show, there was a time that "Stingray" gave the Dukes a run for their money as my fave. In fact, for a short time there it passed Dukes as my favorite show but that didn't last long. "Stingray" wasn't one of Mr. Cannell's biggest accomplishments to most folks but to me it was. Hollywood has lost a legend.

*Jesse looks in the direction of the sound. He tilts his head left and right while he watches intensely. The area goes silent for a few moments and then a young deer slowly meanders out of the thick brush. While it munches on some leaves, a second appears and finally a third. Jesse focuses on them with a smile on his face but his smile quickly disappears as the three deer turn in unison and look behind them. Immediately, they scatter in three different directions. Luckily none of them tripped the wire that would have released the net*

Don't follow me GLG..LOL. I'm almost certain I'm wrong this time. The only thing I'm sure of is that they weren't chocolate or vanilla. I'm getting hungry.
