*Driving alone, Jesse fishtails Ira's Mustang through the twisty curves of Miller's Creek Road, kicking up dust behind him. He was hoping that he could catch Rosco before he caught the boys. Hopefully Rosco would be in in a generous mood this close to Christmas and Jesse could talk him into leaving the boys alone to help Connor. As Jesse rounded the next curve, a motorcycle was crowding his side of the road. Jesse swerved to miss the careless dirt bike driver, but in doing so, swerved off to the side where an old rusty piece of farm equipment was parked. Jesse only grazed the old hay baler but he was close enough that both tires on the passenger side popped. The motorcycle came to a stop and the driver pulled off her helmet.....* Jesse scolded the rider "Emma Tisdale, that's not like you to drive so reckless! Now, what in the world's gotten into you?!!"

I believe that was "Arrest Jesse Duke" One of the many reasons I love this website so much is because things are pointed out that I never noticed and this door thing sure is one of them. I never even noticed it or thought about it. Thanks BoJames for pointing it out. Thanks Hoss for everything you do. By the way, that's a pretty bad Uncle Jesse wig on that stunt man's head. Sounds like you went to the Millcreek Mall. We get a lot of our neighbors from the north visiting there! Send me a PM if you ever go there again! Good thing you didn't go tonight. Interstate 90 is in pretty bad shape.

I guess we get out of things what we put into them. I probably get more than just fun out of the Dukes because I put so much into it. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter why you love Dukes....or how much you love Dukes. What matters is that you're a fan for whatever reason you want to be a fan. Of course, my above comments only apply to the original series. Things get a little more complicated when you thow the 2005 movie into the debate. Since I don't consider that movie to be "The Dukes of Hazzard", it's a non-argument to me. It's like comparing kindergarten T-ball to Major League Baseball. Sure, they're both "baseball" but they're really not the same thing.
