I'm on a roll now. Gaylord painted a sign telling drivers to keep left since he's used to driving on the left in England. I think I get a bonus point too. He painted a sign that said 155 Kph. (I'm not sure what that translates into mph.....but I'm guessing it's close to 100....LOL)
Shucks, I knew this would be a problem. We have folks out on the west coast of the U.S. too so I guess it's impossible to fit everybody in. I'll be doing it Thursday night at 9 EST as planned but I'll be willing to do it again if you want to plan it and organize a time Hoss. I'm always looking for an excuse to watch the Dukes!
I don't really like the thought of a new Dukes series but you have some great ideas. Charlie Daniels is my all-time favorite singer and he's the only person on the face of this planet that I personally would accept as a substitute to Denver Pyle. Obviousely he wouldn't be interested but I do love the thought. By the way, my favorite CDB songs are "Simple Man" and "What This World Needs is a Few More Rednecks."
Welcome to Hazzard County Gray Rider. You sure sound like an interesting guy and a great addition to our website. We look forward to hearing more from you. A replica of the Boar's Nest....what a great idea!
A while back BoJames had a great idea in which we put a pre-picked episode in the DVD and hit "Play" at the same time and chatted about the episode while we watched it together. I was wondering if anyone would want to get together at 9pm (EST) on Thursday and watch a Lulu episode together while we hung out in the chat room talking about it. We'd have to decide which episode to watch. There's 5 of them listed on the "Favorite Lulu Episodes". Considering the title "Lulu's Gone Away" that would seem like the obvious choice. Personally I'd rather watch something more upbeat and fun like "Sadie Hogg Day" where Lulu was Boss.
With the passing of our beloved Peggy Rea I think it would be nice if someone would post a poll asking what everyone's favorite Lulu episode is. I'd do it but I don't know how....LOL....my computer skills are horrible. Here's some of the episodes that should be on the poll. Can anyone think of any more? (please only include ones in which she played a major role) Repo Men Sadie Hogg Day Lulu's Gone Away Targets: Daisy and Lulu The Fortune Tellers
I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I started watching all the episodes in order starting on Jan 1 and by amazing coincidence I just saw episode 6 of season 2 tonight before I logged in......yep, you guessed it....Ghost of General Lee. That Impala (or Caprice) looks like an antique but at the time it was only 15 years old. In that episode it's hard to hold back the tears when Rosco tells Jesse (and others) that Bo and Luke died. I wish real life was as sweet as Hazzard where we all have happy endings but unfortunately it's not. I'm very impressed with your tribute to him. Your brother was very blessed to have a great sister like you.
My apologies Daney (and everyone else) but due to my crazy work schedule I missed February's fan of the month. It doesn't seem right to post it this late in the month. I don't want to shortchange the recipient....especially on a short month like Feb. I promise to get it back on track for March.
Poor Lulu. She was a beautiful lady and I'll miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. This is a great loss to all of us as well. My condolances to all her fans here at our HazzardNet family.
Hmmm, must be Brian saved some of that egg nog that I spiked with buttermilk at the Christmas party. I would have thought that that stuff would have started going bad before now....unless Brian made ice cream out of it and has had it in the freezer all this time.
Great! Let me know. I'd love to do another one with Molly in it. I'll bet we could talk Garrett into getting involved too. Another adventure out in Hazzard Swamp sounds like fun!
