Junior has been consistent all year so far. With JJohnson dropping to 22nd place in this race it will be interesting to see the season points total. Sorry to see Jeff Gordon had a bad day. It's not too often that my second favorite driver, David Ragan, finishes ahead of JG. Ragan finished 21st but usually averages in the low to mid 30s.

As always you amaze me with this stuff Hoss. Thanks. It is appreciated.

Thanks for this update. We had a guy from New Jersey build a General Lee and posted lots of pictures of it. It quickly became my favorite thread at the time. I love working on older vehicles. I was never as good as it as you are but I did a little "shade tree" work. It's not possible for a guy with my minimal skills to work on newer stuff anymore. I sure miss the satisfaction of replacing a carbeurator then tuning it up or putting in a new starter and hearing the vehicle come to life. Those were the days!

Thanks for the update Garrett. We've been on the road all day coming home from visiting our daughter.

My wife showed me this on the computer yesterday. It was hilarious. I think that the salesman was just an actor though. There's no way Pepsi would have risked a multi-million dollar lawsuit and a ton of bad publicity if he would have died of a heart attack. If he wasn't a professional actor he must have been in on it and signed a disclaimer. Still, funnny, funny, funny! I thought of you through the whole thing Garrett.

Nobody here had better say anything bad about Cale Yarborough or there's going to be trouble.

After recording it and watching it I found out that Bo was only on about 8 minutes so I didn't miss much the first time I saw it.

I was flipping through the channels tonight and caught the last 5 minutes of a show called "R U Faster than a Redneck?" on the Speed Channel. Guess who was driving a classic Camero and racing against a newer car? Yep, John Schneider. I'm not going to say who won but they're reruninng it tonight at 1 am (EST) and then again Monday March 11 at 9:30 PM EST. There were a lot of Dukes talk in the short time I saw it so I'm looking forward to catching the whole show.

Next question. Is there an 01 car this year? If not, is there a 1?

Thank you so much for writing this fun RP with me Garrett. It's truly sad to see it end. It's like old Waylon said "In Hazzard we tend to have happy endings" This one sure ended happy. Although I have to admit those Beaudry's shooting up the place had me a little nervous there at the end. It's been an amazing experience to share this with you. I'm glad your hero Jeff Gordon survived his ordeal in Hazzard County. Who knows, maybe his NASCAR season will have a happy ending too. Thanks to eveyone who followed this fun story.

I'm really strarting to worry about free speech. Some of the things people get fined, suspended or arrested for are ridiculous. It's getting where you can't say anything without asking the government's permission to speak.....or in Hamlin's case, NASCAR's governing body. I guess the higher authorities want a bunch of mindless robots to rule over.

I agree with these last two posts. Another Dukes movie could be made and be successful but the people in charge willl never listen to reason. Just look at all the successful redneck reality shows on TV. The time is right for a new movie but they'll ruin it again if they don't get advice from true fans.
