Garrett might not be happy about the NASCAR thread being hijacked (and I promise to get back to the subject) but I just have to say.... This is hilarious. Hoss, maybe you could use that fan art stuff you do and make up a golf cart to look like Jeff Gordon's car. That should make Garrett happy.
As I recall his opponent in "In this corner Luke Duke" had been a boxer in real life. I do remember hearing Tom tell the story about the fight scene....ouch!
That's funny Hoss but folks in Hazzard County don't really care about golf so go ahead and enjoy the win. LOL Now, if there was a race that gave out a Rider Cup we might be interested. (or a Driver Cup would be even better) Poor Garrett. I turned the football thread into a baseball thread and now the NASCAR thread has become a golf thread.
"flaw in the slaw" Khee Khee I love it! Thanks for the update Garrett. I switched over to the race during commercials but I'm too wrapped up in baseball to pay too much attention to it....especially since I'm doing well in my fantasy league (not the private league you were in but the public league I am also in). Congratulations on JG finishing second. I was thinking of you every time they talked about him.
I'm pretty excited at the moment. Hopefully I'll win my first ever championship in fantasy sports. I've only been playing three years but second place in basketball is the best I've ever done. As I sit here watching the Rangers-Angels game it's in the bottom of the sixth. Two of my opponents players are Mike Trout and Adrian Beltre. The entire season comes down to those two guys. If neither one of them hits a home run the rest of the game I win the championship. If one of them does, we'll be tied 5-5 in statistical catagories and I won't know until morning who is champ because I don't know who has the tie breaker. Wish me luck.
Which of these were on the show? Crenshaw River Road OR Old Mill Creek Road Thelma Claire Rogers OR Bertha Mae Blevins (song) Lion Once Again OR Tiger By the Tail
Congratulations K-Duke 15. Last night your Reds (Homer Baily) pitched a no-hitter against my *sob* Pirates. The other bit of good news for you is that the Reds are getting Dusty Baker back in time for the post-season. GO BRAVES!
My Steelers have the weekend off and my Pirates stink. They were on the losing end of a no-hitter today by Homer Bailey even though the Pirates only gave up one run. Go Braves! Go Rangers!
I've heard of musical chairs but this is the first time I've ever heard of musical stock cars. I bet after the music stops David Ragen is going to be standing there without a car.
I forgot to mention that the Penguins will sweep the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals this coming spring. That is if the season doesn't get cancelled. (If the Penguins and Blackhawks are in the same conference and can't play each other in the Finals I'm going to feel pretty dumb)
You got it right. Nice job BL....and Hoss. That was a tough one. Hoss, I'm surprised that was a 1968. I thought I got a good look at the taillights but I guess I didn't.
I love your attitude Garrett but I hate to tell you that the Cubs are only going to make it to the National League championship series where they will be swept by the Pirates in 4 games. I feel bad because I know that will break your heart but you'll get a little practice at having your heart broken when the Steelers beat the Bears in the Super Bowl in February.
