  1. Which of these were on the show? Carter's Corners Waterfall OR Tucker Ridge Gomer Pyle OR Homer Griggs Bluebonnet Road OR Apple Cider Lane
  2. Hey Garrett, since this seems to be rivalry weekend for us (see baseball thread), let's start a third competition and put a friendly bet on who finishes higher this weekend David Ragen or your man, what's his name again, Gorden Jeff? *extends hand out to shake*
  3. You might be still crushing me in fantasy baseball but here's three things that will put a damper in your celebration... 1) I have three pitchers starting Saturday and three starting Sunday. 2) My hitters (combined) are only batting .200. Since they're way better than that, there's a good chance they'll stage a comeback this weekend. Good hitters can't be kept down for long you know. 3) To make our rivalry more interesting, not only are we duking it out in fantasy sports but the Pirates are playing the Cubs. And oh, by the way, the Buccos just beat the Cubbies 1-0 just about an hour ago. *dances in celebration*

  7. I was feeling sorry for you Garrett but now that I've seen how bad you're crushing me in fantasy baseball this week I've lost any sympathy for you that I had. You must be cheating somehow. I just can't figure out how. If you're not, please give me a break and bench some of your better players so I can make a comeback this week. Show some respect for the number one guy in the division would you. (Sorry folks, I didn't want my rivalry with Garret to spill over but I'm getting beat so bad I just couldn't contain my emotions)
  8. Niagara Falls (it's between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario)
  9. Thanks for telling us Brian. I love watching the episodes at the same time other folks are. Congratulations on graduation Sissy!
  10. This brings back memories. When I was a kid we had those bikes with the banana seats and high handlebars. We used to put two forks on the front end to make it look like a chopper. One kid even used three. They looked pretty cool but didn't steer well and you sure couldn't make a sharp turn. Mine was blue and the second set of forks were white. (Dukes hadn't came out yet or it would have been orange) My cousin put a steering wheel on his bike. Sadly, I inherited that because he was killed in a car accident at 16. It's still in my basement and is my favorite possession from my childhood.

  12. It's always tough to see a player you like retire especially when you're a loyal person such as yourself Garrett. Hang in there buddy. Off the subject (but still on the subject of baseball) did you see the standings lately? It sure is weird to see the Yankees and Red Sox in the bottom two spots in their division.
  13. Lake Erie
  14. It was "Georgia on My Mind". Now here's another question about Hazzard lawmen. Who was introduced as an auxiliary deputy on the episode "The Meeting"? A) Cletus Hogg Enos Strate C) Grady Byrd D) Buster Moon
  15. LOL Maybe JJ will give me some of that money since I helped him win. After all I'm always wrong in my predictions and I recently predicted he would NOT win. (post #82) Thanks for the updates Garrett. I've been so busy and it's always nice to log in and get the NASCAR news from you.
  16. Good answer Meadowmufn. Here's something else I'd like to add. Since you're a Dukes of Hazzard fan that's proof that your parents have done something right in raising you. In return for everything they've done right, it would be nice if you would return the favor and make decisions that would make them proud. Or here's another way of looking at it. Ask yourself what Uncle Jesse Duke would say if you asked him advice. Like MM said, you know the answer to that. By the way, thanks for respecting the opinions of folks here enough to ask.
  17. Welcome to Hazzard County Zrad.

  19. Thanks for the update Garrett. I was away and didn't hear any of the results. It's weird to see JJ back on the top of the list. I'm not predicting a comeback though. In fact, I'm predicting that Dale Jr will win a race before JJ wins another one.
  20. I saw that on MLB Network. I sure hope he learned his lesson. As someone who had a temper when I was younger I can see how something like that could happen. I'm not justifying his actions but I can relate to him. He's very lucky he didn't lose an eye. Hopefully he appreciates his eyesight enough to have learned to not do that again. Not to mention the fact that he should be setting an example to his young fans considering how much he's making.
  21. K-D and BL got them all right.

  24. Friday May 11th is the birthday of my hero Jesse Duke. In honor of him, here's 10 things he's taught me about life. (I have to give my parents a little credit too) 1) Be reverent. Thank Almighty God for all your blessings. 2) After God, put your family next on your priority list. 3) Be patriotic. Be thankful for the country you live in and grateful to those who helped make your country great. 4) Help others in your neighborhood who need it and take pride in your community. 5) Give people respect if they've earned it and don't expect to be respected unless you've earned it. 6) Work hard. You may not be capable of doing the same things others can but always give it 100%. 7) Be patient and take time to listen. Listen with love in your heart. 8) Be loyal in every way. 9) When you get older you'll be the leader of your family. Take time while you're younger to develop the skills you'll need. 10) Have fun. If you ever get so old that you forget how to have fun, just pop in a DVD that shows Miz Emma Tisdale riding a wheelie on her dirt bike.
