  1. Oh no, that's a toughie. I bet most people would pick too high of a number. I don't think it was as many as I would have originally guessed if I wouldn't have taken a little more time to think about it. I don't even think he showed up until season three. I'll guess 7 but I could be way off.
  2. Welcome to Hazzard County Davy. You wouldn't happen to be an NBA fan would you? I'm Pennsylvania's biggest Timberwolves fan....it's nice to see someone from Minnesota join HazzardNet.
  3. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  4. LOL (Hey, with only three letters it won't let you use all caps but by adding this I can)
  5. Sorry about the disruption in the trivia thread. Go up to General Discussion...."computer vacation" for an explanation. Anybody is allowed to post questions here. This thread was never intended to be something that only one person at a time asked questions so fire away.
  6. I hate to do this again but I just have to. This stupid computer is ruining my life. Maybe I'm going through a mid-life crisis or something but I just need a break from it. It was nice when I just did HazzardNet but I've just taken on so many things with it, it's not even fun anymore when I turn it on. I'm losing sleep, not spending as much time with my wife, missing quality time with my grandsons, not getting outside enough, not watching any Dukes episodes and not working on my book because I'm in front of this contraption too much. I'm going to step back and take another week off like I did in April. I know I'll miss HazzardNet but hopefully it will only be a week. If only I can come back and avoid all those other websites I've gotten involved with I'd be okay but I always seem to get drawn into them. I've got to cure this computer addiction and get back to being me. Hopefully I'll return to the way I was in 2007 when I first learned how to use a computer.....All I did was HazzardNet, e-mail and nothing else. For now, I need another internet detox so I'm heading off-line again. Thanks for your patience and hopefully you'll understand. Talk to ya next week....probably.
  7. B.L., Hoss and MaryAnne got it right. I tried to trick everybody by having the answer be "A" twice in a row but nobody fell for it.
  8. Nice Hoss. Was Brian Coltrane displaying his Gremlin?
  9. Okay, we have three players with three teams. Does anybody else want in on this baseball playoff action?
  10. I was in the lobby of where I work when my boss told me. At first I thought it was just an accident and it was just a small plane. Then I went to the only place in the building where there was a television and watched the four tragedies play out. After the fourth plane crashed I thought there were going to be dozens more. Thank goodness they stopped falling from the sky. Even today, seeing the video of the second tower being hit is still hard to believe. I visited Ground Zero ten months later. It's the only time I've ever been to NYC. Words can't describe how emotional it was. Thanks for starting this thread CDoherty.
  11. Hi Hopester, that must be your drawing over in the album section of this profile....awesome! To answer your question, I fell in love with the Dukes when it first came out. I was 19 at the time....in fact I'm a week younger than John Schneider. We're both 51.

  12. Welcome to Hazzard County Hopester! I first became a Dukes fan when I was a teen-ager too. That was 32 years ago and my love of the show is still going strong. We look forward to hearing more about your love of the best show to ever grace a television screen.....and hopefully we'll get to see that award winning drawing of the General Lee.
  13. Sorry about your Cubs not making the playoffs Garrett. My Pirates aren't going to make it either but that doesn't stop me from picking an alternate to win the World Series. I have the Braves and Brian has the Brewers, What playoff team are you saying will win it all?
  14. Shucks, I missed it. Saturday evening was the only time my family could get together this weekend for my grandson's tenth birthday party. I hope it went well.
  15. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  16. Happy birthday Luke! (Sept 9) Since Hoss didn't complain about buying the buttermilks last year I think he should do it again this year. Meet ya at the Boar's Nest to celebrate!
  17. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  18. Hoss shoots....Hoss scores! It was A Who's mother's name is Beverly Hibbs? A) Cooter's daughter Nancy Lou Luke's half brother Jud Kane C) Swamp Molly
  19. Marty's awesome. I've never seen him in concert but it would be worth the price of admission just to hear him perform "Hillbilly Rock"
  20. Lizzy and B.L. got it right. That quote came from "Big Brothers Duke" In which episode was Rosco deeply involved in astrology? A) "Sound of Music-Hazzard Style" "Money to Burn" C) "Ten Million Dollar Sheriff" parts 1+2
  21. Tropical Storm Lee (no relation to our favorite car) has been reeking havoc on Dixie. I saw on CNN that even the National Weather Service in Atlanta had to be evacuated and relocated.
  22. With money being such a driving force in the success and failure of professional sports teams it's not a surprise that wealthy cities like New York have teams like the Yankees and they do well. It really surprises me that the Cubs haven't won a World Series in over 100 years. I mean, it's not like Chicago hasn't had a lot of money since 1907. For many of those 100 years they've been the third largest city in the United States. I just can't figure out why they can't win the big one.
  23. I'll bet ya a buttermilk at the Boar's Nest that the Braves go farther than the Brewers.
