  2. Well the tough one was really tough. Roth , Hoss and Lizzy were right about chicken and Daisy but Joe Ward was the crop duster who got sick. The episode mentioned that Joe recently bought the airplane from Darcy. If I wouldn't have just seen it I probably would have missed it too.
  3. Khee, Khee I hope you had a great birthday yesterday Rosco. Let's all head out to the Boar's Nest to celebrate tonight. Garrett, I know what you mean. It's always a thrill when Dukes related stuff pops up in places you weren't expecting it.
  4. I'm over here now Hoss. I just got bit on my arm by the smaller dog right after I sat down. It doesn't hurt too much and besides, I have another arm. Maybe focusing on how nice my good arm feels will distract me from the pain. I think the pooch was mad because I wore my Pittsburgh Pirates shirt in there. Garrett didn't mention that the dogs were Cubs fans but I suppose I should have known. Well I'd better get back to our conversation. They were just talking about how rude it is that people get off topic in pubic forums. I'm afraid to tell them that it doesn't bother me so I'm pretending to agree with them. I'm a little afraid they'll tell that other dog to bite my other arm if I start an argument.

  6. Hoss got it right. Luke called him King Kong. I just watched "High Flyin' Dukes" and it reminded me that I used to post an easy, medium and hard question after seeing an episode so I thought I'd try it again, at least once. From "High Flyin' Dukes"...... EASY....What kind of bird did Boss have with him while in hot pursuit (as a passenger) in Rosco's sheriff's car? A) owl chicken MEDIUM.....Which Duke took over as a crop duster when a friend of the Dukes got sick? A) Bo Luke C) Daisy D) Jesse HARD......The friend mentioned in the medium question was.... A) Darcy Kincaid Amos Stigger C) Joe Ward D) Silas "The Hawk" Perkins E) Sam Crenshaw
  7. I don't have NBCSN on my satellite but I do have CBSSN. I guess that doesn't do me any good. I wonder if NBCSN is new. I've never heard of it.
  8. I just love that picture of the cast with the General and the Sheriff's car! Awesome! Thanks for posting it.

  10. What are you talking about? Getting beat by you is no fun at all no matter what kind of spin you put on it. I lose sleep every time I'm facing you in the weeks that we're matched together regardless of which sport it is. The stress is more intense than anything I've ever faced in my life. LOL just kidding.
  11. Yep. It's gold dust and Mrs. Puff. I watched "Find Loretta Lynn" today in honor of Dennis Burkley who played Bubba and recently passed away (see the townsfolks thread) When Luke first met Bubba what did Luke call him just before Bubba knocked him out? A) Godzilla Big Bigger Biggest C) Tiny D) King Kong E) Brittany Spears

  13. The Annuals were published by two different companies depending on the year, Purnell or Grandreams. The first ones weren't very good. They just had role play stories with bad comic book illustrations to go with them. They had very few real pictures of the stars. After that they got real good real fast. They were loaded with info about the stars, trivia, jokes, games, role plays southern recipes and stories about southern culture (which was important because these books were apparently better sellers in Europe than America). They also had info about American muscle cars, NASCAR and other southern culture trivia. The nice thing about them was the awesome pictures. They were loaded with them! Back in those days VCRs weren't available so you could only see the Dukes once a week. That meant that pictures of the Dukes were valuable commodities to folks like me who couldn't get enough of anything related to Hazzard County.
  14. It's a shame that you didn't get any responses. Oh well, congratulations and we hope things go well. Is it any time soon? We'd love to hear more from you here on the HazzardNet. Anybody who wants a General Lee at their wedding sounds like someone who certainly belongs here.
  15. I have to admit that fantasy football isn't one of my strong sports. I can't possibly do worse than I'm doing in NASCAR though. I've never won a trophy in fantasy football but I haven't played much either. Who knows, maybe this will be the year for a big glimmering trophy. Actually I think the correct term would be virtual trophy since they're not real. Still, the joy of beating Garrett in fantasy sports is very real.
  16. Hmmmm, I'll wait a little more time to see if anyone agrees. In the meantime, here's one that I posted years ago but is worth repeating. Cousin Alice from the episode Swamp Molly was the voice of what character on Sponge Bob Square Pants?
  17. I couldn't resist. I signed up. But this is definitely my last year for fantasy sports. I'm making a New Year's resolution after football and I'm pretty good at keeping them. For now it' going to be nice to see my fantasy team (loaded with Steelers) beat Garrett's fantasy team (loaded with Bears).

  19. I interpret that to mean "Watch as many Dukes episodes as possible." But then again I interpret any deep philosophical idea to mean "Watch as many Dukes episodes as possible."
  20. Sad news indeed. It always hurts to lose someone who was on the show. I loved his part in those two episodes. He was a very talented actor.
  21. Well K-Duke, your Reds just beat my Pirates 5-3. It sure was an odd way to score 3 runs. The Pirates had 3 solo homers, all in the same inning!
  22. nothing (scientists claim that the Big Bang came from nothing but when you learn more about it you find out that it's not true nothingness. Something has always been there)
  23. I have 5 out of the 6 Annuals that you posted. The one that I'm missing is the upper left one. They were made in England and they're not really magazines because they have hard covers. And no, I can't scan stuff. At least I don't think I can. I'd have to ask my wife since my computer skills are nearly non existent. I just love this thread! Thanks again for everything.
