Sorry to be difficult but if One Armed Bandits beat the Ghost of GL in the semi finals and Days of Shine and Roses beat Carnival of Thrills in the semi finals, shouldn't they be in the Finals? -

I was wondering how old you were. I only have one biological grandchild and he's 23. He still hasn't had a long term relationship but I'm sure that will change. He doesn't come to grandpa for advice about women. I give it to him anyways because that's my job...LOL

I married too young and it didn't last. But my second wife and I are are closing in on 30 years of marriage and still deeply in love. So I guess Hobie is right. You are flipping a coin. That's why it's not something you should rush into....even if you can tell on the first date that it's the person you want to be with forever. You need at least a year together before proposing. And even that is no guarantee of long term success if you marry.

The Days of Shine and Roses beat the Carnival of Thrills. Shouldn't it be in the Finals? Also, One Armed Bandits beat the Ghost of GL.

This could be an interesting thread. I doubt anybody has ever started a thread like this before on the HazzardNet. The first bit of advice I would give is to not take advice about romance from an internet forum. But if you do, make sure it's this one....LOL I don't even know where to start. Advice can be different depending on your age and circumstances but some things are universal regardless of any variables. One is to be honest with yourself. That's probably the most important one. I'll continue later if this thread takes off. I'm sure some folks might avoid this subject and others may want to give advice. It will be interesting to see how this goes.

I like Chase Elliott. His dad was mentioned on the Dukes so that's enough to make me a fan. Plus he's from northern Georgia, just like the Dukes.

She was born in 1908 and he in 1930. She was 22 when he was born so she was old enough to be his mother. Sonny is old enough to be John and Catherine's father. It was funny how they always portrayed him as from their generation. Must be something good in that Valdosta Georgia water. -
