This is a bit of a sensitive subject to me since my collection of stuff was sold at a low point in my life in 1989 when I was struggling emotionally and financially from a divorce. Of course I have bought things since then but lost my motivation to replace it all.
I'll sit this one out. Don't let me spoil the fun though.
I asked them if they wanted me to do a lecture about Dukes of Hazzard or astronomy. They picked astronomy. No wonder our education system is failing. They have their priorities in the wrong place.
I just got back from watching the new Karate Kid movie. It was okay but not that great. I see a new Jurassic Park and another How to Train Your Dragon are coming this summer.
I have to disagree because the idea of any of the characters dying is something I don't even like to think about. That is why I didn't like the reunion shows. To me, Hazzard County is real and it hasn't changed since the early 80s.
We've been getting smoke from the wildfires in Canada heading south in the upper atmosphere. It has created a pink hue to the Moon. Unfortunately if there have been northern lights because of the solar storm, the smoke is blocking them.
