Fan Art

Do you draw? Paint? Sketch? Have you done DOH themed artwork and would like to show it to other fans? Then show it here!

  1. Hey everyone One of my passions is creating fanvids, but it's been a while since I've had time to work on any (that and apparently Powerdirector doesn't like my .avi's so I had to convert them all to mp4's first ). Anywho, here's a fanvid I've been wanting to do for a long, long time. This song just screamed "Enos" to me the first time I heard it. This can be found on YouTube here: or if YT gets cranky and takes it down, it can be found here permanently: http://www.divshare.com/download/15620665-b07

Some drawings 'bout Enos and Daisy, imaging "hidden" scenes in the show. Just added a new album (Fan-art) on my page here on Hazzardnet. (I hope) More drawings coming soon.

I thought this one was going to be easy after doing Double Zero - how wrong I was. There are quite a few differences, but it was much quicker than starting from scratch. Most of the changes involved removing trim, with only a few bits added. This one is pretty true to the original - no artistic license with this one. These wheels are also the ones that I should have put on Daisy's Road Runner. The Crane Cams logo appears at the beginning, but gets painted over before the race. There also appears to be something painted over near the tail lights in some scenes.

  4. I'm adding a junkard outback of my Hazzard Garage model and I'm hoping ya'll can help me with some suggestions on what cars to add to the model. Many times in the series, Cooter mentions having something 'out back' (like the extra Chargers that time they made decoy General Lees). Who can remember other examples? Mark

G'day everyone, I have been very quiet and haven't posted alot really but have started a cool Dukes of Hazzard project - custom pinball. What can I say other than this will be a massive project that is going beyond my current skill set (hoping to learn enough to finish this dream project). It will involve CAD designing, timber work, steel work, artwork and god help me programming. It will be a full size pinball with a cabinet designed off the well known and typical Bally / WMS 90's cabinets with some unique mechanisms inside. It will have a Cooter's garage, Jessie's Barn, Boss Hogg's Office and the bar of The Boards Nest as well as 2 ramps and one just has to be a j…

  6. Here are some gift tags that ya'll could use this year or any year. I made it so that there would be something for everyone to like. Two versions. One with some writing on some and another with no writing. Give your opinion on whatcha think of them.

Here's the Mean Green Machine from season 5. For those of you that don't watch the Coy and Vance episodes, it first appeared in 'The New Dukes', and returned in 'The Return of the Mean Green Machine'. This was one of the easiest projects so far due to the body being mainly straight lines, although I only had screengrabs to go by. Like the camo patrol car I did recently, the paint job is not indended to be an exact copy, I was just going for the general look and feel. I based this version on its second appearance in 'The Return of the Mean Green Machine'. The only differences (that I spotted) are the wider flap on the front to allow for the magnet, and the scoop and spiked…

This one's been on the back burner for a while. It's Miz Tisdale's Checker cab from 'The Hack of Hazzard'. IMCDb lists it as a 1971 model. I've helped Bo and Luke out by removing the rust/primer and replacing the emblem on the hood - to be honest I had enough of rust and primer on Swamp Molly's pickup . The only other disclaimer is the poster on the trunk. Despite watching the episode over and over I couldn't make out the small text. I'm sure the top line is correct, and I'm fairly sure the line under 'Funeral Home' isn't 'Hazzard', but I just couldn't read it. If anyone knows the correct text I'll alter it (it may have been in another episode on a billboard destroyed by …

I'll say that I've been working on a piece for HazzardNet. It's been started since the end of December. I'm slowly finishing it. Here's it without color and the stars.

As I said in my introduction post (which you probably havent seen), I draw, and so I wanted to share my first drawings in this fandom. Both are digital The Bo one was a test piece, I was trying to figure out this mock watercolor brush I found about a month ago. And the Luke one I did for a friends birthday on the 6th.

Hi guys, I am wanting to draw up in illustrator the artwork for the Hazzard County Police Department police badge for a project that I am working on that I will release when it looks a little more serious than just some sketches. Can anyone point me in the direction of a nice clean, large, sharp image of the logo that is on the police doors please. Once done I will make it available here for others to use. Thanks in advance.

Here is a wordle for all the episode names for the Dukes of Hazzard.

  15. Started by Brenton,

This was portrait I drew of Boss Hogg from the episode "Duke vs. Duke." Boss was explaining to Rosco that his secret weapon against the Duke boys was a "seeecret." The expression on Boss' face after he made that statement is priceless, even though it was for only a fraction of a second. I must say...he was my favorite character on the Dukes.

Hello all, first time member here so let me introduce myself. My name is Roy and I live in Holland (Europe). I’ve been active on some other Dukes boards under the username “CNH 320â€. Big time Dukes fan and moreover TV and Movie car enthusiast. Being a Dukes fan, of course my dream is to one day own a full scale General Lee. Till that time I collect diecast TV and Movie cars. Having a couple of 1/18 diecast models, I thought I would be nice to have a 1/18 Boars Nest backdrop. Therefor I was wonder if there’s anyone who made a 1/18 (vector) art of the Boars Nest. I’ve seen some pretty nice artwork from HossC in de “Buildings of Hazzard County†topic. Maybe a n…

  18. Started by K-Duke15,

It first started out as a plain old yellow notebook. Once I started to become obsessed with Dukes of Hazzard, I decided to draw an 01 on it. It then turned out to have all this stuff on it. It is now a piece of work with signatures of my friends and I'm going to keep it forever. I love what a little idea can do.

Hi guys, I am new to this site and I have started working on a large project that I am sure many of you will love as it is centred all around the DoH. I didn't want to immediately raid someone else's thread and ask for artwork as that is not right and very happy to start fresh with my project. Once I get a few general features designed I will ask for ideas and advice but until then I need to work on some mechanical designs and art. Does anyone know what the font is for: - the "General Lee" on the roof - the "01" on the door other wise any links to super clean, straight on images of the above. Thanks for any help in advance.

  20. Started by K-Duke15,

I'm putting this here because it is considered fan art. But this is something I've thought was needed. If you use Google Chrome, you might have searched for a Dukes of Hazzard theme and found out there was none. Well no worry, I have created one. It might not be the best but I think its useable. This is the link to it. I hope ya'll like it.

Hoss's General Lee artwork (which I think looks really good) reminded me of something I did on an old fanfic folder years ago (like 14 years ago...). Keep in mind y'all, I can't draw. What I ended up doing was tracing the two cars you see in the picture. What I can't remember tho' is what image I traced them from. The folder had started with the just the Confederate flag and the 01 box on it. Then I drew the crossed racing flags. Then I realized the rebel flag looked out of place so I started drawing the General around it. Then I had all that room on the back of the folder and thought, "I need Rosco's patrol car!" And thus, some cheesy fan art was born. Sure spruced u…

  22. I did a favor for a good friend of mine recently, and he drew this for me to say thank you. I thought I'd share. The image of me is very accurate; dark work shirt, blue baseball cap and glasses... and when I'm driving the General I'm always smiling! Thanks Austin! I love it, I love it!

  24. Started by HossC,

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I've had a few questions about how my pictures are done, most recently from dukefan1, so I thought I'd try a brief explanation. I'm not saying this is the right way, just my way. Most of the computer images we deal with everyday are some kind of bitmap ie. a rectangular block made up of a grid of different colored dots or 'pixels'. This includes everything from drawings done in MS Paint to digital photos. They're very convenient for most purposes, but do have limitations. Vector graphics are stored as an outline shape and a fill color which makes them ideal for this sort of artwork. In the example below, the top circle is a bitmap tha…

It's hardly surprising that Uncle Jesse had trouble finding his mortgage money each month, he changed his truck nearly as often as Rosco changed patrol car. In the Georgia episodes he drove a '68 Stepside with the red Ford lettering clearly visible on the tailgate. After that he drove a variety of F100s, F150s and even F250s (so I've read elsewhere), some with short beds, some with long, and with varying amounts of dirt. Bo, Luke and Daisy's desire for driving clean vehicles never seem to extend to Jesse's truck. Other trim pieces like mirrors and hub caps also appear/disappear randomly. I've decided to go for the long-bed version of the 1973 F100:
