Well thought now was good as time as any to start another thread. And with the NASCAR season in full swing right now, there is plenty of news to go around. As of now, don't really have any for the Sprint Cup series as news related, but do have a bit of news for the Nationwide Series race. They raced in St. Louis last Saturday night where Carl Edwards (also a cup driver) won the race, though has sparked a lot of controversay with it. On the last lap, Edwards passed Brad Keselowski (another cup driver. Brad and Carl have a history of wrecking each other and so forth. Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham's SRX series kicked off Saturday night at Stafford Motor Speedway. It started off non dramatic as all the driver's where feeling out the cars. Greg Biffle led all the laps and won Heat 1. Heat two saw a lot more action and the local "superstar" Doug Coby win after passing Michael Waltrip who led most of heat 2. Has anyone ( besides me) seen the video of the guy in a local race of some kind and he just won and was standing in front of the crowd and the female reporter was interviewing him and it was LIVE.....so nothing could be bleeped out etc. The crowd was chanting..." F Joe Biden, F Joe Biden" and the reporter tried to cover it up by saying , " The crowd is saying " Let's Go Brandon!" ( the first name of the driver). You could tell what they were really saying though. I just bought a " Let's Go Brandon " T shirt! You obviously have some REAL Americans in that area!

Well y'all...it is FINALLY that time of year again! It is now NASCAR season...well the season doesn't officially start until next Sunday at the Daytona 500...but eighteen cars has just started their engines at the Sprint Unlimited (Used to be known as the Bud Shootout). Bet y 'all can't guess who is excited???? I AM!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sprint Unlimited is on Fox Sports 1. Used to be known as the Speed Channel. Will write a summary of the pre season race once it is over.
