Dukes of Hazzard News

Just curious. I plan on recording them from CMT on VHS. I was going to buy the Smokeyand the Bandit DVD today, but read that it is in widescreen, put it back, and said "Bring back the VHS tape!" Poor folks like me can't run out and buy a 16:9 ratio TV.

Dukes of Hazzard fans... I bring you sad news... Guest star William Smith (Jason Steele) from the Season 4 2-parter Ten Million Dollar Sheriff died July 5, 2021. He was 88.

If you guys know how Face Book is, you know they send you unsolicited friend requests, that you can deny or accept. These people are from everywhere in the world, literally !! I got a friend request from Karis Schneider......didn't think much of it and was going to delete it, when I noticed the partial pic on her page looked familiar. The hair was older, white....but something about the eyes.....looks like John Schneider! Well, being the scholastic genius that I am ( not to mention modest! ) , I looked it up! It WAS John Schneider! Bo Duke! I'm still not sure who Karis is...maybe one of you guys can help the genius out! I'm wondering how she got my name to send me …

I just found out tonight that Next week wednesday Dukes season two will be avaliable for purchasing. Found out at my work place because they already have it there but it won't be for sale till the middle of the week. I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY IT. I AM JUST SO EXCITED!!!!!!

Tomorrow, an old interview of Waylon Jennings is going to be on NPR (National Public Radio). I think the show is going to lead with Willie Nelson though. It would be awesome if the interview took place while Dukes was being filmed. Maybe he mentioned it. If you miss it, I bet you can probably catch it on NPRs website. Just to clarify...the interview will aired September 1 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. NPR is doing a series of old interviews from country music stars this week.

Just want to share some upbeat stuff here. First of all, with all the Dukes stuff going on, it's hard to believe this is 2012 and not 1982! We got Tom Wopat and John Schneider making car show appearances, we got a pro golfer driving the General Lee to the Phoenix Open, we got country music star Dierks Bently telling a newspaper how he watched "The Dukes of Hazzard," and we got major retailers carrying new Dukes of Hazzard t-shirts. Ben Jones passed away today August 9, 2026. It’s a sad day for Dukes Of Hazzard fans and Ben’s family. My prayers are with Ben and his family.

The playstation network if anyone has the PS3 like I do I just downloaded the whole 1st season! They got 2 episodes in the wrong order too! One Armed Bandits is put as episode 2 instead of one and the same for Mary Kayes Baby is episode 1 when it should be episode 3! anyone have a PS3 on here?

i am trying to find it to download dose anyone no where i can find it. i found it on youtube but when i put it on disc my dvd player said disc error it will only play on pc. can anyone hel;p me find it, i am huge fan i have all the series except this movie...

Just want to remind ya'll, "Hazzard Comes to Galax" is coming up fast! The shindig is in Galax, Virginia, June 2nd. One day only, so plan your travel time accordingly! Our crazy friends from the North East Ohio Dukes will be doing a car stunt show, plus there's cast appearances by dang near everybody. Ben Jones has been in the news lately. In fact he has an editorial in today's USA Today. Rumor has it that Tom Wopat will be at Hazzard Homecoming for both days, August 11 and 12. Along with this report comes the rumor of a "stunt demonstration", but we don't know if this involves cars or bikes or what at this point. There are more Dukes shindigs going on this year than you can shake a dipstick at! We'll keep you posted as more details roll in.

Got an email from cooters place and they said on there website that the gatlinburg store is closing and they are going to open it back up in pigeon forge, and the general that they have on display down ther is up for SALE 20,000 has 318 engine, not used in the shows but has been on tv.

Howdy Y'all....I was recently told by a friend that Ben Jones would be attending a fair around me....I didn't believe her at first, cause I thought boondocky place...but then Luke attended this fair too....So I got on their facebook page, because they ain't known for keepin their website up to date, and whatta you know....He is actually gonna be there!!
