Introduce Yourself

Hi there. I'm an Englishman who's been living in Ireland for the last 7 years. I'll be 40 this year which means I've been a Dukes fan for about 3/4 of my life. I'm currently re-watching every episode from the beginning - I'm up to 'Goodbye General Lee' in series 4 at present, so I've only got 75 episodes and 2 (good) films to go! I finally got 'round to reading Ben Jones's 'Redneck Boy in the Promised Land' this year, and recommend it to anyone who hasn't. On the hobbies side, I collect 1:18 scale diecast cars, most of which are muscle cars from the late '60s and early '70s, and include 5 Dukes cars. I have also recently been playing around with vector based artwork again…

Hows it hanging ya'll, Dukes fan from the Windy City, just saying hi for now. Came here to possibly make a few friends, find some collectables, get some more info I may not know about the show, share some ideas and eventually some of my stories I'm working on. Just want to add I have loved this show since I can first recall. Still see it as the best show that was on TV for the mere fact its not smut like shows today.

Ya might Remember me as BoDuke80 from a year ago. Well Some turkey messed that account up on me and I re registered. I'm Now BoDuke82. I hope some of you fine Hazzardites will be friends with me again, I've missed this place very much. Well that's all for now hope to see my Ole friends again. BoDuke82.

Hey everybody, I was a member of the boards before but I forget my ID and password so I got a new and am back.

Hello all....I am selling one of my cars (1967 Corvette) and looking to fill the empty space in my garage with a car I've wanted since I was a kid...a General Lee of course. I have a 1 year old son and am looking to take him with me on weekend cruises with Dad. Can't do that in a Corvette. I thought I'd try this forum and see if anyone knows of one for sale. I search Ebay all the time but good examples are hard to come by. I prefer a GL in great condition with a 440 but I'd consider a 383. No 318's...No race cars or projects.....looking to spend around $35k give or take. Hopefully I'll have one soon and meet up with members of this fourm at future DukesFests.....went…

I am the grandson of Dennis Nash the man who owns Uncle Jesse's House in Loganville, GA. Me and him made this to try and keep intouch with the Hazard community and to tell on how the home is doing. He has enjoyed many visits by all who visit him and the home, even people from as far away as Germany and Roscoe(James Best) even came by once to shoot some video.

Howdy Well I'm new round here... Looks like a fine establishment y'all got goin here. Mind if I maybe set up camp and stick around for a spell?

Hey folks! Just rode into town and this here looks like a nice place to stop and rest a spell..

Well here we are again dropping some more pictures of the old conversion that we have done to the once anonymous repmobile, to the now resplendant poor mans Lee conversion, and so the story is over, but NO!! We have the internals to discuss. 1. Music. That easy we got both Hazard sound tracks......Hey guys the song Flash, Superb. Could you keep a straight face with that song playing? This is pumping through 2 mighty 400watt bins in the rear 2. We got a cb radio, which we thought was gubbed, but with the advent of mobile phones, there is little airplay to be heard. We hear distant talk so all well here we hope!!! However the rest is as incipid as the once externals used …

Hi guys this is Bo77 here love the site.......

Well as sure as god made wee fishes, our Lee is climbing out of the ashes, and what a beaut. We lost all signs of the cars origin, and here she is. Decals going on next week so will be able to unviel the beast very soon. Remember, we doing a 3000 mile tour of Europe at the end of April, so as they say, "coming to a town near you" . All for the sake of our local special needs school. We now got our justgiving site set up, so more detail later. This less of a project and more of a lifestyle:p Back soon, Richard

Yes settle down and please keep with me. We totally stripped this beast of all its old history and rebuilt the thing properly. The right colour of paint, the correct decals( even got the white boarder ) the horn radio etc, Well next is to hit the road big time. Take 4 blokes with a passion, and head off to France, Switzerland, Italy, and then back to Glasgow, And yes we going to raise money for our local special needs school. And what fitting end to the gig, but a good old hoe down with a country western band, and auction the old girl to the highest bidder, Phew. We got page at crumballers.livejournal.com check it out and laugh, cry, or get angry, but the spirit of the L…

After reading a post from texasdaisy09 recently I thought it would be interesting to learn more about other folks here on the HazzardNet by posting the favorite 10 things in life that define who you are. Please don't list more than 10 but less than 10 is fine. Here's mine: 1) God 2) my family 3) USA 4) my home and woods 5) Dukes of Hazzard and the HazzardNet 6) the book I'm writing 7) astronomy 8) sports

Hi all, I'm new to this site and if you can believe it, new to the Dukes. My new husband is a big fan and I thought I should find out what all the "fuss" is about, lol. We've recently moved and found another couple who are fans as well so I want to plan a party with a Dukes theme and we'll throw on some DVDs and have a relaxing evening. So I thought while I'm here that you guys could probably give me some great suggestions for food at this party - what would the Dukes want to eat? Have a great day!

Been a member on here for quite a while but had a few computer/e-mail issues so only just got round to introducing myself. I live in Warrington, a small town in the UK. I have been a Dukes fan all my life, and yes I am old enough to remember them the first time round! I love listening to music, I am a bit of a Rock Chick and some of my fav bands include Status Quo, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf and Guns 'N' Roses. I am also a closet country fan and enjoy Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Toby Keith. I am just starting to get into the new country artists aswell through the power of internet radio, so let me know of anybody worth listening too. Othe…

Like my title says...What the Heck? ill introduce my self and i aint even new to HazzardNet! I'm 14...not necissarly new to watching Dukes of Hazzard..just wasnt that into it before lol I'm very southern..from Texas lol my favorite guy characters are Sonny Shroyer (Enos Strate) John Schnieder (Bo Duke) and Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) and then my favorite and only fave girl character in the Dukes would have to be Cathy Bach! aka Daisy:D i really dont know what else to put but if ya'll wanna know any more about me just ask! Kristen AKA DaisyDukeXEnosStrait

Hey to all the Duke fans out there! I'm not necessarily new, I've lurked about for a few years now. Just hadn't gotten around to introducing myself. I first started watching the Dukes when CMT started running them. Apparently my family watched them on Friday nights, but I was too young to stay up that late (born in '78). I may have started late, but I've immersed myself in the Dukedom since. I have all 7 seasons, both reunion movies, and I occasionally write fanfiction. I'm also a huge Nascar fan, so if anyone wants to talk racin' give me a yell! GO CARL EDWARDS!!!! Yeehaw and I'll catch ya'll on the flipside!
