Introduce Yourself

Hey, I'm glad to find this site. I've been a Dukes fan ever since the other kids in my neighborhood introduced me to it way back when, when I was too young to really catch everything that happened, even...but I sure knew I liked that car! I'm a bit of a crafter and just finished a Dukes project, so I'll be posting that over to the Hobbies section after I get the hang of this forum. Thanks to HossC and RogerDuke for the nice welcomes. LD

Morning, New user today....just saying hello. I was on CGLFC for a bit, but have run into account access problems, so I decided to pay a visit here. Looks like a great place to be, and I look forward to talking to you all about THE greatest TV show and car in the world. -Jerry

Hi all. I've been a member for about six years, but have been a very infrequent visitor. This may be only my third or fourth post. "The Dukes of Hazzard" was part of my early adult life, I was in the Navy at the time. I recall buying only one "People" magazine in my life, and Catherine Bach was featured in it! Being in the Navy then, aboard ship and overseas I often only saw the show when I was home. Since that time, and as it passes I've found myself missing the show (as about 99% of ya'll). Denver Pyle was my favorite (sorry Catherine, but you were a very close 2nd!). I don't have cable, but do have some of the season DVDs. Several years ago on the way back hom…

Hi everybody, I am new to the Hazzardnet (and new to using computers in general). I am a 46 year old redneck from northwestern Pennsylvania. I have been a huge Dukes fan since I got hooked in 1979. Ever since then I've felt like the people on the show are members of my own family. I have met Tom Wopat and Ben Jones in person and have talked to Sonny Shroyer on the phone. I'm excited to begin my adventure on the Hazzardnet and look foward to many years of corresponding with all of my fellow Hazzard County residents. Since I've discovered this, I have already posted things on a few threads including my plans for A Hazzard town and county map (please see Hobbies). I thought …

I have had a really sucky 8 months and it is one of the reasons that I haven't been around to post or even read the site. My mom passed away due to complications from surgery due to late stage 3, early stage 4 Cancer. I haven't even continued writing the sequel series to the ORIGINAL that I was so hopped up on last year after that abyssmal 2005 whatever it was...However with a little better writing, I think the cast of "The Beginning" with the exception their choice of Cooter, could pull off a new "series". If any of y'all are interested to hear about my plotlines, send me a message. JdHogg Jr.

Yee-Haw!!!

I'm a newbie, my name is Ina. I'm from Germany. Originally of the so called eldest town of Germany, Trier. This town lies next to the Luxembourgian border. We are told to speak in a very funny non understandable dialect. I can understand it, but not speak it myself. I currently live in a village in the Midwest of Germany in an area called the Oberer Westerwald (literally Upper Western Forest). In some cases our valley looks a bit like Hazzard County, regarding the streets and the car chases the Wäller (that's how the people are called here) are performing very often. Wäller are very fast drivers, the roads are long and abandoned. Only thing is that it isn't that dry and…

Hi everyone! My name is Eleonora and I'm Italian, and I obviously am a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan I've watched DOH since I was little, but my Dukes love reignited a while ago after reading some great fanfiction over at FF.net. I started catching some reruns, which coincidentally are on here right now, then I went and bought Season 1 and 2 on DVD. My goal is getting all of them, of course Watching Dukes now, I'm enjoying it a whole lot more than when I was young. And the best part of having the DVDs is being able to watch the show in English. I love it! As good as the adapting and dubbing may be, it can't be as good as the real thing I'll stop rambling now Looking forwa…

But i've been around awhile. Some of you may know me from other sites, I usually go by redneck but that was already taken here. I've built several patrol cars, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3894702/1978-dodge-monaco, and i'm now working on an A-team van. I have a friend with a General and spent last summer chasing him around, http://www.youtube.com/user/Rosco83522?feature=mhee I went to Dukesfest '07 and hung with John Schneider last year at a local event. Well, that's just a short intro to some of the stuff I have done. Hope to make some new friends here and maybe hang with some of you in person over the years to come. C ya'll

Hey yall! My name is Wesley, and I'm from Missouri. I'm 21 years old, married, and have our first child on the way. I'm a country boy who enjoys hunting, fishing, working out, football, camping, muddin, 4 wheelers, muscle cars and other outdoor or active things. I'm a huge Missouri Tiger fan(hence the username). I'm going to college to be an occupational therapist assistant. I've been a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard for several years now(mostly due to Daisy and the General at first) but until about 5 years ago, never really had access to watching the show due to not getting the channels it was on. I now watch it every time I can find it on TV, have had my picture taken insi…

Hi everyone, My name is Mike, live in NY and I'm a big Dukes Of Hazzard fan and recently came upon this forum. I've been watching the DOH since it first aired back in 1979. I have all 7 seasons on DVD as well as the 2 TV reunion movies and watch the show often. One of my hobbies is building model kits so I will be starting a General Lee model build soon and will post it here at the forum. As you can see from my user name I'm a big fan of Boss Hogg. I'm happy to be a member here and hope to make some friends with you all. Mike aka 'Boss JD Hogg'

Hows it hanging ya'll, Dukes fan from the Windy City, just saying hi for now. Came here to possibly make a few friends, find some collectables, get some more info I may not know about the show, share some ideas and eventually some of my stories I'm working on. Just want to add I have loved this show since I can first recall. Still see it as the best show that was on TV for the mere fact its not smut like shows today.

Hi , My name is Rob and I grew up on the dukes of hazzard sort of lol. I got into the show at 5 years old. I owned some of the mego figures Bo N Luke Duke. The general lee boss hogg and roscoe never got the rest. It was a privallege to see one of the general Lee's used during a coy and vance episode. Till this day as an adult I love the dukes.

Good afternoon ladies and Gentlemen hope all is well out there. when is the next Dukes Fest and where? respectfully JD

Hi! I'm new here. I've been reading HazzardNet for a while, but I finally decided to sign-up and get to know all of the wonderful Dukes of Hazzard fans. This is great! Have a great day, and keep it 'tween the ditches, ya'll! Laura Duke

Hi everyone. I am a newbie to the Dukes of Hazzard forums, but I have been a fan of the series my entire life. I hope to have fun here, and I love to chat about my one of my favorite shows, TDOH.

My name is ahmed. I have been dukes of hazzard fan since the show first aired on cbs. I found hazzardnet on google. I still love watching the show after all these years. You don't see shows today that have the kind of following that the dukes of hazzard has. Starting to collect some dukes stuff. Look forward to learning more about the show and meeting other people who are fans of the show.

Hi Everyone! I've been a "lurker" for years but just recently joined the site! I thought I would introduce myself! My pen name is Enos'sGal (or some call me EG). I'm an equestrian and love to read, have three sons and a wonderful hubby! The DOH was a favorite show of mine growing up! I wish they still made shows like that today! It was certainly special and something to share with the kids. In fact when the re-runs started a few years ago, my youngest son would watch them every evening with me and grew to enjoy it just as much! I've just finished writing my first fanfic and had an AWESOME experience! DOH fans just ROCK! It's nice to be here! Enos'sGal
