Introduce Yourself

If you're new to our forums or have just been lurking without posting, here's a good place to make your first post by introducing yourself. Tell us how big a Dukes of Hazzard fan you are! But remember, there IS such a thing as TMI (too much information). ;)

  1. Started by Tony Trout,

I hadn't been here in a while and I just now remembered this forum and regained my password. For anybody that doesn't know who I is, my name is Tony Trout and I'm thirty-right years old and I have loved the DOH ever since it first aired (and Airwolf, Knight Rider, B.J & The Bear, etc....from that era) and I have all seven seasons of the show on DVD and have gone back to watching it lately. I was hooked on Airwolf for a while - which, in turn, made me want to check out some r/c helicopters and I located one like "The Lady" (as it was called) and I'm hoping that a miracle will take place and I can purchase it. I'm a serious fan of all of those early shows. They w…

  6. Hey y'all. Well, I've been reading these forums on and off for several years, and have finally got around to signing up! (I work and often live on a boat, so internet access comes and goes!) I've been a Dukes fan my whole live. I was born in 1978, and Dukes began here in the U.K. in March '79, so I guess you could say I've literally grown up with it. One of my first memories is sitting on my Dad's knee (or by him when I was old enough to say "I'm old enough now!) watching Dukes. Even though our family has sadly had some hard times and very much fallen apart, Dukes remains one of the few 'bonding' things between my Dad and I. When something breaks he'd mention about havi…

I have browsed for a little as a guest. Loved what I saw, so I went ahead and joined. Look forward to exploring more of the site. Especially the forums about former filming locations.

  8. Started by Stelth,

Hey everyone. I've enjoyed watching the Dukes since it first aired and I know I'll enjoy reading and posting here. I live in south Florida and it used to be a little like Hazzard county here in the early 80s. Watching The Dukes of Hazzard reruns reminds me of the good-old-days.

Hello, my name is Russell. I'm been watching the Dukes since i was a kid. it's the first show i remember watching. I had a die cast general lee and would jump it along with the theme song at 2 or 3 yrs old. i always said when i learn to drive i'm getting a general lee. Well now i'm in my mid 30's and I do not drive a general lee but the dream still lives!! looking forward to getting to know the community

Hi all, new member here, thought I'd introduce myself in my first post. I've been lurking here the past few days reading some threads on here. My name is Jason, I live in Alabama, and I'm 37 years old. So I was around when the Dukes was still airing new on Friday nights! I have always been a fan of the show, and I love cars too. In fact due my childhood memories of the dukes, I fixed up a 69 charger RT for my first project. I finished it about 2 years ago. Its go green with black interior, top and stripe. I will post pics later when I'm on my computer (I'm on my tablet right now). A year ago I was searching for another project car, was wanting a 68 Barracuda, it couldn't…

  11. Hi, I am a new member here, and want to say HI to all my fellow Duke's of Hazzard enthusiasts. I have watch every episode when it aired live on TV. I was hooked on this show ever since then. And I am still hooked on it now. I am glad it is back on CMT starting today (Jan 5th) at 2 Pm. I will be watching it for sure! I have a 1969 Dodge Charger SE with a 383 CI Big Block (335 HP), and a 727 Automatic Transmission. It is a Numbers Matching Car and is a complete car. Everything there is what was put there from the factory. This car is a Factory A/C which is 1 of only 38 ever made this way. I have to put the A/C parts back on, but they are in the trunk for now. I have had the…

  12. Howdy, fans? I am new on this site and I just wanted to say hi to y'all and I am ready to talk about the show the whole day. I was searching in the posts for a while. I was looking for The Dukes of Hazzard english subtitles but I didn't find any. Could someone help me and send them from season 2-7 to my e-mail? That would be great assistance, cuz in my country the first 2 seasons had been translated only and I would like to translate the rest and make HunSub and share it to the Hungarian Fans. Thank you. Kee-kee-kee!

Iowa, to be exact. I loved the Dukes of Hazzard growing up...watching the General tear around Hazzard County and jumping over creeks (and anything else they could find). I have the first, third, fourth and fifth seasons on DVD, along with the first two reunion movies. (Don't know if that qualifies me as a 'serious' DOH fan, but what the heck!) I do know I loved the show!

  14. Started by CornDog,

Hello everyone. Well, I tried to sign in to the forum and I got an invalid username/password. So I tried the "forget your password" option and it said my email address was not registered. I could have sworn that I was a member here but I guess not. Oh well. Either way.... HELLO!! I've been a Dukes fan longer than I remember.... since I was old enough to stay up as a kid on Friday nights and watch TV (so my mom tells me). My name is Justin Cornette and I am from Jackson Mississippi but I usually go by "CornDog" on many of the forums. I was lucky enough to buy one of the General Lee's from the recent 2005 and 2007 movies. This car is actually better known from it's…

Hello people from HazzardNet, Since this forum is made to introduce myself I will use it to do so. I've been a Dukes of Hazzard fan since my mother first told me about the show when it came back on dutch television in i think 2005. My Mother said she was a fan of the show when it was on tv before I was born. For herself she recorded an episode, and because back then I watched a lot of tv with my mother I watched the episode with her and like it so much i've asked her to record more of it. I believe the first Episode I ever watched was Carnival of Thrills Part 1. Unfortunatly for me the episodes were shown during school times and my mother forgot to record most episodes be…

I've been a fan of the Dukes since they were on TV and making new episodes every week. (yeah, I got some age on me) I own all the seasons on DVD (and the new movie) and have a few die casts of the General. Anyway, I've had a couple Chargers over the years, but had to let them go for one reason or another. I just got a '79 F350 long wheel base wrecker. My intentions are to paint it yellow and put "Hazzard County Garage" on the door. I own a hotrod shop and I thought this would be a cool way to get projects to the shop. Especially considering I've gained a reputation for Ford trucks. My daily driver is a '79 F150 4x4. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Last Year, May 3 2012, I got married, and for the friends I have made on here, you know how my life was kind a mess, but now I am happy, I am married and thrilled to be back on HN!!!!!

Hi everyone! It's great to be on Hazzard net! Ive been looking at this site for year but I've only recently just signed up. I've been a fan of the dukes of Hazzard now for many years. I've been collecting DOH annuals recently from the 80s and a few weeks ago finished re-reading gone racing. I'm interested in computers and cars. That's probably one of the main reasons I've enjoyed the dukes so much, because of the cars. So yeah! That's me.

Hi Everyone! I've been a "lurker" for years but just recently joined the site! I thought I would introduce myself! My pen name is Enos'sGal (or some call me EG). I'm an equestrian and love to read, have three sons and a wonderful hubby! The DOH was a favorite show of mine growing up! I wish they still made shows like that today! It was certainly special and something to share with the kids. In fact when the re-runs started a few years ago, my youngest son would watch them every evening with me and grew to enjoy it just as much! I've just finished writing my first fanfic and had an AWESOME experience! DOH fans just ROCK! It's nice to be here! Enos'sGal
