Debate which of the three Smokey and the Bandit movies were the best (I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the third). Or just talk about your other favorite movies.

This movie stars Dewayne Johnson a.k.a. "The Rock". Its about a guy who gets released from prison after a botched bank job in which his brother is murdered right in front of him. This movie has a sweet looking 1970 Chevelle in it. This isnt for the kiddos, but I great movie none the less. Lots of action with some pretty good driving in it.

Hey y'all I bought the Back To The Future box set on Sunday. My family are away down the country today, and I'm not feeling that great, so I decided to have a Back To The Future day. I wasn't around in the 80's, but I'm sure the idea of hoverboards and flying cars was very believable. Imagine what the world will be like in 30 years, in 2042!! I can easily imagine flying cars and hoverboards, especially since Doc and Marty have already been to 2015 and hoverboards and flying cars were common. So is everyone looking forward to converting their cars to flying mode? Or is everyone preparing for the end of the world in December?

Okay I was searching the web to try to find out what year' Mustang was in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and then I started (naturally) looking at other muscle car info sites and found the General Lee. After a while of reading some more info about The Dukes of Hazzard show I found that there may be a new Dukes of Hazzard Movie coming out straight to dvd called "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning" here are some links about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dukes_of_Hazzard:_The_Beginning http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800328/ Check this out!!!

Has anyone seen the previews of this move yet? I watched a preview of it online last night and saw one for the first time today on TV. Looks action packed and exciting. The only actor I know is Matthew McConaughey as the lead guy - Defense lawyer, Micky Haller. It will be coming out on theatres starting March 18th. (Does s how a suggestive scene in just to warn y'all...it's rated R I think.)The movie does look action packed and exciting, but the main reason I am excited is that the movie is taken from the book Lincoln Lawyer that is wrote by one of my favorite authors: Michael Connelly. I've read all of his books and I have read Lincoln Lawyer to know that it'll be a …

The star of this movie appears to be a black 1969 Dodge Charger. Supporting co-stars include a Chevelle and a Camaro. Oh, Nicolas Cage is in it too, but who cares. Lookit the cars. This flick is described as an "action-horror" film. It won't be contending for any awards, but I give it early points for including real cars. I don't care if the acting is horrible and the script is awful. It's an hour and a half of car chases and explosions - count me in.

Worth seeing for the 1965 Chrysler Imperial decked out with rockets, flamethrower, and dual machine guns. There's enough mayhem in this flick to please anybody. It's an action-comedy, a thankless category that always gets shortchanged by critics and panned by serious movie goers who are looking for more blood and guts and fewer jokes. But if you see the movie for the sake of seeing a nutty, glass-breaking shoot-em-up with car chases and explosions, you'll like it. Note, there is a 1969 Dodge Charger in this movie, but it just sits in the garage. You see it displayed teasingly in the early scenes, parked in a million dollar garage alongside other classic cars. Still,…

I don't know if any of ya'll got to see this movie on GMC, but it was a very good movie. Oh, did I mention Sonny Shroyer was in it? Well he was. It took at least a 1/2 hour, but he's in it. I would recommend this movie, even if it is just to see Sonny in it.

We usually don't go for Jim Carrey movies but this was a good one and we just gotta ask this pressing question. The guy who plays Mr. Falk, the lady's lover who's gonna lie on the stand...is it just me...or does he look a lot like Vance Duke? Did Christopher Mayer play this role? We looked it up on movies.com and it said "Chip Mayer". Did he use a different name? Say it isn't so Vance, say it isn't so!

One of my all-time favorite comedies, even though I'm not a golf fan. None of the characters, even Judge Smails, are really despisable. In fact, my sister and I will break out into Ted Knight impersonations and see who cracks up more. Bill Murray is a hoot. Rodney Dangerfield is still his wacky self. And don't get me started on the Baby Ruth in the pool scene. NOONAN!!!!

Has anybody seen the H.B. Halicki Gone In 60 Seconds movie, if you have by the box set and watch the version with the commentary and there is some surprizing stuff in it. I was wandering how do you think Gone In Sixty Seconds(2000) compares to the original and if you only seen the new movie, then rent the original and see the difference for yourself.

I always enjoy watching this film - it's one of those films that I have on DVD, but still watch when it comes on TV. First there's the cast - Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei, Ralph (Karate Kid) Macchio, and the final film appearance of Fred Gwynne. Then there's the '64 Buick Skylark convertible and Vinny's Series 62 Caddy. Finally the defense case relies heavily on lots of technical car stuff. There's definitely something sexy about a woman quoting car stats (not that I find it hard thinking of Marisa Tomei as attractive:)). 'Top Gear' in the UK had Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz on as guests this week, and Jeremy Clarkson (the host) made Cameron talk about carburetors.

I don't have good details on this one, I'm hoping Cap'n Redneck can help me out. It was mentioned on another thread and this is a wild flick worth mentioning here. First of all, the getaway car in this flick is a black Charger, and I believe it's a '69 or '68. This is another 70's-era movie that was a cross between an action/crime flick and massive car chase. I recall it being violent for the day; but by today's standards it's probably a creampuff. The singular feature of this film that gives it my recommendation, is the shock ending. I think the first time I caught this flick on TV, I literally jumped at the ending. And then the credits roll, and you're just sitti…

As some of you know and some of you have seen by reading the Chance Walker series, I am a big supports of the Doctors/Nurses Without Borders programs. These brave people volunteer their medical skills to go into some of the most devastated war-torn or disease ridden areas of the world, often risking their own lives to heal others. I've used DWM in Doc's stories and as a explanation to when is not in Hazzard, but I'm glad to see now there is a documentary coming, giving a first hand view what this program is about and how it affects both the doctors and the people living in these countries. I'm glad DWB is starting to get the recognition and increased awareness its deserv…
