I don't have good details on this one, I'm hoping Cap'n Redneck can help me out. It was mentioned on another thread and this is a wild flick worth mentioning here. First of all, the getaway car in this flick is a black Charger, and I believe it's a '69 or '68. This is another 70's-era movie that was a cross between an action/crime flick and massive car chase. I recall it being violent for the day; but by today's standards it's probably a creampuff. The singular feature of this film that gives it my recommendation, is the shock ending. What type of movies yall like I like comedys

Since this forum hasn't been used for awhile I thought I'd get things stirred up. I saw Avatar several weeks ago and I was wondering what other folks thought of it. The visual effects were expectedly spectactular but I didn't necessarily think the plot was that great. They simply took what the Europeans did to the native American Indians and made it into a futuristic story. (I'm sure stuff like that went on in lots of other countries too besides North America). I'm not complainig. The movie was worth the money just for the special effects alone but the story-line didn't have enough twists in it to satisfy me. What do you think? I love the son called "Get a Bloomin Move On it" it has this one verse called "The Self-Preservation Society" those three Mini's could give the General a run for the Money. It Stars Michael Caine as Charlie Croker.

I think White Lightning was much better than than the sequil, Gator. I think it's a cooler story, and all those Ford LTD's in the chase scenes. (especially the one Burt Reynolds drove with the 429 and 4 speed manual. ) Gator wasn't a bad movie, but I think it wasn't as good as White Lightning. It just didn't impress me much. I chose White Lightning on the cover first. After seeing Burt on the cover with a shotgun, I thought this would be a good movie! Then, I read the back about car chase scenes. That's when I whipped out my cash.

I find it ironic that two movies that I've bought recently have father and son now. Moonrunners is great if you haven't seen it wait till you see what the Mule's name is now, and James Mitchum Plays "Grady Lee Hag" and in Thunder Road it stars his father "Robert Mitchum great western star.

Has anybody seen the H.B. Halicki Gone In 60 Seconds movie, if you have by the box set and watch the version with the commentary and there is some surprizing stuff in it. I was wandering how do you think Gone In Sixty Seconds(2000) compares to the original and if you only seen the new movie, then rent the original and see the difference for yourself.

I just saw this movie again on TV the other day....I love this movie from when I was little and loved that Clint Eastwood made a couple of movies like this. Right Turn Clyde.......

So I just finish watching Smokey and the Bandit and watched the part with Sonny in it. But when he flew into that pond of water, I just had to laugh. The only thing I could think was, "He wasn't thinking that he would be doin' that more." I couldn't help thinking that since it's true. I wonder what he thought when he did have to do it, even though he was in a car and not on a motorcycle.

Okay I was searching the web to try to find out what year' Mustang was in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and then I started (naturally) looking at other muscle car info sites and found the General Lee. I've watched this movie a number of times, it's a good movie. A lot of people here probably haven't seen it or heard of it because it's a rare movie. It's about a nurse who picks up her car from the garage and while she's at the garage, she meets a business man who is trying to get to the airport; his car is not ready yet. While on the way to the airport, to drop off the business man (Ed), she picks up her sisters baby. While on the way to the airport, she almost runs over a pedestrian. Beer For My Horses is a Toby Keith movie, and he plays Deputy Sheriff Joe Bill Racklin a.k.a. Rack. Mac Davis and Mel Tillis have small roles in the movie as well. And Ted Nugent plays Skunk he's tattoo of a badge and ak47's for his service weapon and he a little orthodox as well he also mostly use's a Bow and Arrow he got somebody in the reared quite literally now.

Yesterday, I had a quarrel with 2 colleeges about the difference between American and Italian movies. So, as most of you here are american I'd like to have your opinion about some argument. I tell you in advance: I don't like italian movies, I agree with Tarantino that found them boring and depressing. I think we have very good dubbers, but very bad actors, with very fiew exceptions. Instead, I love american movies, well not all obviously. My questions are: 1)do you know some italian movies (old or recents)? 2)and some actors? 3)and directors? 4)is it true that americans are very strickt in import strangers movie and prohibits them? Thanks for your opinions!

This movie is one the best remakes, I have ever seen made. The other good remake is the The Beverly Hillbillies(1993) , what did Diedrich Bader do how he did Jethro so well. He must have the original series as a kid. I Like Johnny Knoxville in Walking Tall , I like when he chops up the beauitful Red Truck going as far the Chrone the wheels,. the Colummn.

This movie is a stand-alone masterpiece among any "car flick" movie out there; primarily because it takes you back in time so effectively. The period is 1962; the stages are car hops, street drags, high school dances and late-night crusing. It's worth watching this movie for the cars alone; but the performances of the cast prove why these actors grew such great careers. if you have watched the dukes of hazzard reunion both when it was on tv and the video that was sold by columbia house, did u notice in the original airing of it on tv don williams mentioned that rosco's new dog,tuitles,was the grandpup of flash but that part wasnt in the columbia house video so has anyone else noticed this?

I really want to see that again. Is it on DVD yet?

Yesterday I borrowed it from the library and I watch it last night it was good man John Travolta was handsome in the movie. They had a commerical for "Face-Off" on the video and he sure has filled out lately.

I think I'm a Burt Reynolds fan here in Cleveland I have fifteen of his movies on dvd and I don't know how many on video right now! I have Gator(1976) Both Cannonball Run Movies, Smokey And the Bandit Pursuit Pack as well, Iron Cowboy(1968) The Dukes of Hazzard(2005) and countless others right now.

This a tv movie version of the original 1939 John Wayne movie and stars the Highwayman and John Schneider, John plays Buck the driver and Johnny Cash plays the Marshall there is a funny moment when Buck is talking about his wife and he mentions Ovaries and neither guy knows what they are. Willie Nelson plays Doc Holliday and he says that he his friend in Tombstone to "Travel Lightly and Come Well Balanced" I think he was talking about Wyatt Earp at the time. Kris Kristofferson plays the "Ringo Kid". Waylon Jennings plays Hatfield he's a gambler as well.
