Help writers understand what makes you want to read. Any other thoughts you want to share?

I found two stories on my hard drive last night that I don't have a clue who they belong to - I know not me. I probably have them from beta-reading them a long time ago, but I haven't been able to find them online now. One is unfinished, and I'd really like a find a finished version, named "Deputy Dipstick". The other is complete, called "Fair Warning". I have no idea anymore who they came from. Neither one has any new characters, just the original Dukes and friends, so I can't use that to track the author(s) down. If anyone knows who wrote these, or has seen them online, please tell me. They're both great little stories, and I'd hate to think of them not existing …

I read more than one fandom, several genres actually. But I just want to say I am constantly impressed by the quality of writing on Hazzardnet. Unfortunately most fanfiction I find in other genres read like written by rabid fangirls (and most are), but Dukes of Hazzard seems to have acquired a singular quality of fanfiction that rare to find. Keep up the good work, y'all.

I just want to speak out on a few things that have been bothering me. First off would be the names. I know lots of people with the same name. I don’t see what the big deal is if someone uses a name that has been used in a minor role. If you think about it, these people are pulling out a name that they like that they think would match their character. They’re putting their own personality into this particular character. If we keep fighting over names people have already used, there won't be any names for anymore characters that means no more stories. Okay we have had our jollies with the TV Show american Chopper. On there is a motor bike shop called Orange County Choppers. What if, a bunch of Harley types, who were also fans of the Dukes got together a club? Answer, The Hazzard County Choppers Club. Know anywhere else that fight the system anti establishment types would be accepted other than in Hazzard? The Hazzard County Choppers Club, is a branch of the Hazzard County Knytes(KNIGHTS) Kustmz Association . We are more than the casual fans we live the show in real life. Hi, I'm a newbie, pretty much just recently got into the Dukes, but already I would consider myself a pretty big fan. But anyway, my friends and I have yet to see the Dukes movie, which comes out this next weekend here in my town. A couple weeks back, two friends and I were out and about, being bored as usual, and we saw some little kids on bikes trying to ramp off some dirt piles. What Is Respect Respect is something you earn. Not something you receive just because you want it. If you are in a bad mood... everyone else doesn't have to be. I sent in a new story to Lisa. It is about a girl named Lesslie who gets into a horrible motorcycle accident and is left stranded and bleeding. Bo and luke come by and see the bike on the road. The look around and find Lesslie all hurt and everything so being kind hearted dukes they take her to the hospital and when she wakes up they meet. That's just Part one. I'm also going to add more.
