Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Talk about Dukes of Hazzard movie script ideas, casting suggestions, and more here!

  1. Started by Virgin Enos,

Some people have disliked the cast since the day that Stiffler and Jackass where cast as the the Duke Boys. But the truth is the problem isn't the cast at all. The problem lies in the director and how he wanted the the charactors portrayed. Unfortanatly some of the new charactors had little or no resemblence to the originals. I think the cast did their best at playing the charachtors the way the director wanted them. Its no secret that when this movie got the green light some of the biggest names in hollywood wanted to be a part of this movie, so as fans along with people in general, many of us had had high expectatations for a really good cast with BIG names. BIG NAMES…

  3. To everyone here at H-Net...... I want to take the time to apologize for my recent sort of argumentative style. As most know that is not what I like to do. I got bugged a bit about what I felt was getting too compounded and I sort of lashed out. For that and to anyone I have offended I did not want that at all, you have my apologies... Everyone here is a "True" Dukes fan and that will never be taken away from any of ya'll no matter what. The movie aside , which has caused various discontent for most of us, this THE place to be for fans of the DOH. Sure we might not see eye to eye on the movie and that is OK. But there is so much Dukes and other stuff to talk about . …

  4. I know - who really cares - but I was just wandering what happened to the actors that played "Coy" and "Vance" - What are they doing now?? Any movie or tv shows?

And want to continue to groan about this or that, I have 2 words for all ya'll .......I think you can actually figure them out if ya'll are smart enough.... I understand about free speech and such and opinions. But I could care less anymore... I am tired of people ripping apart the movie because it wasn't the Dukes they grew up with or they are used to, blah, blah blah... Oh well. Boo hoo....I am tired of people ripping apart a movie people worked hard on to show. Boycotts, protests, all that BS is BS........ Worse is that on another board there is a topic that the movie General Lee's are NOT legit General Lee's because they are different from the TV show. Even though…

Even though the movie wasn't even close to being even a little bit like the original, I still enjoyed it for what it was, and here are two of my favorite quotes out of the movie..... Enos-"......Now you know I can't tell you Bo....Boss'll tan my hide." Luke-"He spanks you?" Rosco-.....OH i've got two words for you.....Soap and Water." Cooter-"That's three......stupid."

  8. whats that song from the first deleted scene where bo is blindfolded and has to drive? by the way. i found it wierd that i couldnt buy the rated version anywhere. i looked pretty much all over my city

  11. I think I might of made sence of why the director brought so much filth into Hazzard county IT IS NOT MEANT FOR US Put your self in the directors shoes. Your strictly making this movie for the money. You basicly have two target audiances 1 Dukes Fans. 2 Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans. They cleaned up the theater version to an extent so Dukes fans wouldn't outrage at WB but still left some stuff in for the other target audiance The point Im trying to make is that producers knew the Super Trupers/ Broken Lizard American Pie Jacka** Fans would be disapointed if it wasn't a dirty movie Therefore the unrated DVD is for them; not us

A few other Dukes-related message boards are reporting that the unrated version of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' that will be released on Tuesday along side the theartical released version of the film, is really raunchy. From what I understand, anyone looking to purchase the "unrated" version of the film can expect to hear more profanity, more sexual inuendos, nudity, and drug use. I still have trouble believing that they did this to a movie called 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. GADuke01

Hi Everyone, If, by some sheer dumb luck, or a bolt of lightning were to hit me and I was able to get something to someone at Warner Bros. regarding my sequel, which part can be found through the link below, would you watch it? Is there anything that needs serious changing (that you can see)? Please vote and let me know. Thanks. http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2357&highlight=

I'm just going to flat out and say it. If you are a TRUE Dukes fan, don't buy this DVD. Who wants this farse of a movie to get any more money than it already has. We've all spoke our peace here and I think the consensus is that the movie isn't what we as TRUE Dukes fans wanted and we don't want them to make anymore like this. The best way for this to happen is if we don't support the DVD. I think we should push to have the TV Reunion movies released on DVD instead.

  16. As found on filmforce.com. I did minor editing for topic relevance; you can read the whole thing at: http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/638/638928p2.html IGN Interviews Jay Chandrasekhar We talk one-on-one with the Broken Lizard member and director of The Dukes of Hazzard.by Steve Head August 3, 2005 - Perhaps you know him as Ramathorn the party-loving police officer in Super Troopers, or as Putman the dreadlocked British tennis instructor in Club Dread? Jay Chandrasekhar has for the last 10 years been an integral part of the comedy troupe Broken Lizard, directing each of their films beginning with 1996's Puddle Cruiser. Now Chandrasekhar's at the helm of The Dukes of Ha…

It was so nice to see Tom and John on Smallville Nov 3. It was nice that the charger did its stuff on there they did a nice jump too. If you didnt catch it Lex refered to Luke as a Good ol Boy to John. I did notice that there was some references from DOH show. I liked seeing them together again. Too bad they could not been Bo and Luke in the DOH movie. I do have an idea of why WB did that show because a lot of true Dukes fans including myself was not happy with the movie so to make it up to us they had the duke boys come together because WB is the one who released the DOH movie in the first place. For the sequel they need the real duke boys in it and if they did i would t…

  22. Did anyone record it ? I have tons of Dukes related videos & DVD's that I can trade for a copy of Smallville with Tom Wopat. Send me a email for a complete list of my stuff to : PORKYS1982@SBCGLOBAL.NET Thanks , Ben

  23. Ok, in 10 minutes on tonight's Smallville episode, the on-screen reunion of John and Tom proved a number of things: 1) They were never "too old" to be in the Dukes movie - life doesn't end at 30 after all 2) They had more chemistry between the 2 of them, then the entire movie cast 3) It didn't matter that the Charger wasn't orange 4) Yes, they can act 5) John's still the better driver 6) The Smallville episode paid more true homage to the spirit of the Dukes of Hazzard than anything the movie gave us 7) WB does have decent writers - where the hell were they during the Dukes movie script? 8 Plaid shirts are still " in " 9) Tom can still climb through car windows …
