Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I've seen a copy of it, and I must say I love it. There'S some stuff that could be better, but wahtthehell. i'm glad ( but also sad, that they crashed Dodge Chargers again) that finally a movie has come out, that is rilly interesting for me. Country Rock, Muscle Cars and Hillbilly lifestyle. That' my fetish. That's what I rilly dig. It's not easy in Germany when u are a freak like me. There's noc "Boars Nest" where u can hang out and drink a cold Coors. Something I noticed in the new movie reminded me of something that I've heard Dukes creator Gy Waldron mention in an interview before. I have heard Waldron state that had the series continued past '85, there was a possibilty that they were going to have the Dukes talk to the General Lee and possibly have someone do a voice-over for the General Lee. Not only would fans just be able to see this car that in many ways was as much of a cast member as any of the actors, but they would be able to hear the car's perspective. I have a different idea for a dukes of hazzard movie. what about having the original cast but also have the children of bo and luke. They are in there mid 4os so they can have children of their low 20s. i think that would be cool.

Yee Haaa It appears as if John is fighting the system the only way he knows how by making his own car movie inspired by what he feels the dukes movie should have been. Got this idea from looking at one of Brad's recent posts. How many times have ya'll seen the movie?

I beleave that this movie was a outlet for a Dukes fan (if you can call him that) and to write a Duke movie based on what he felt how the Dukes should have been like. On CMT Insider John does say that the first 5 episodes did had more grip to them meaning they had some mild cussing, Daisy showed her body more, and I think they make some other references the later episoses didn't have. I think what Jay wanted to do was to capture the feel of those episodes but went a bit too far when he put references to Jackass and Super Troopers.. As for me, if it wasn't for it having the General in it, I really don't think I would have enjoy it as much as I did.

Wanted to let you guys know that I found a new Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit 2 Disc DVD at our local Rite Aid Pharmacy for $4.99! Yes $4.99! I couldn't believe it. I almost feel like I should mail John some money. Watched the special features disc last night and going to watch the movie tonight. Don't know if Mr. Schneider realizes it is being so so cheap, but I didn't think twice about grabbing it.

Hey yall. I stumbled onto your site a few weeks ago. I figured I'd give yall another update about the movie. I have two friends who are extras in the movie, so I went to watch them while they were filming today in Clinton. All of the stars were there filming a big scene with about 125 extras outside the courthouse. They also did 2 jumps with the General Lee this morning, one small one with a stunt driver, and another long jump with a dummy in the car. It was pretty exciting seeing the filming up close. I read in a review of the movie that it's a movie version of "Farewell, Hazzerd".

Official word is that Warner Brothers has 2 movie trailers that will premiere at the superbowl, one is the new full lenght trailer for Batman Begins and the other is what is called a teaser for the dukes of hazzard. Batman begins will be 2 1/2 minutes long while the DOH Teaser will be less than 30 seconds

Okay I was searching the web to try to find out what year' Mustang was in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and then I started (naturally) looking at other muscle car info sites and found the General Lee.
