Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Hi, everyone. I'm new to Hazzardnet, but I thought you guys would like an update on the movie from a local. I live in Clinton, LA, where the majority of the movie is to be filmed. Filming is to begin at Cooter's Rebel Repair today at 3:00 p.m. The shop (formerly Red's Body Shop) has been there for many years, but the production crews have updated it quite a bit to look like Cooters. There are camera crews, camera equipment, and 18-wheelers full of stuff everywhere. The production company has practically taken over the local private school. rumor has it there will be 6 officers in hazzard county including a female officer played by newcomer ann farber apprantly she's cute ....

Has there been any word out yet about who will be cast for these roles? If there shooting the movie already, shouldnt they have had the roles cast already? Or at the very least the producers should have a small list of canidates to play those roles. Have we heard any rumors of anyone for those roles?

well first off this is my first post because i am new 2 the boards and i wanted 2 ask is there gonna be little like 1/24th scale general lees and other cars out wen it gets closer to the release? if so r their gonna be action figures, models, and some sort of adaptation of the movie? thanks

went to a website about sean william scott (has great info on movie) filming of the Dukes is scheduled to start Nov 9th in louisiana. one of those teen maguzines PEOPLE ??? had an article about Nick and Jessica's relationship and said that Jessica was currently filming Dukes of Hazzard If this is true it raises a lot of good questions like who was cast as Rosco Cooter Enos???? why film in luisiana it should be at the town sqaure on the backlot at WB in Burbank CA. Or mabe in Georga where the first five episodes where filmed. This movie is starting to sound WACK no wonder BEN JONES was so outraged. the producers don't know what there doing.

now since movie takes place in current times what's your take on possibly having new units although i'm partial to the monacos and furys of yesterday... my take is they use the 2004 crown victorias i wonder what that would look like though?

There is very little news here about the filming. apparently very hush hush... But........ There is a building leased to HAZZARD US Productions here in South Central Louisiana. Lots of work happening inside. No closed windows.. Can see it all right now. Local news did article on upcoming historical home tour and said one home was selected to be on the movie the Dukes of Hazzard. So therefore, it wouldn't be available for the tour. its great to see that the WB is making progress Bo Luke and diasy have are cast but havent heard about jesse rosco or cooter. articales say its not exactly like the original dukes its being written directed by a guy who wrote super troopers Don't know if I like the sound of that. the general lee should be like the original general but who knows what they will do. I hope it has the charactoistis of the original and it sounds to me like they are going to make it different????? According to this weeks issue of People magazine, Warner Bros. have cast the parts of Bo and Luke for the upcoming big screen movie. Sean William Scott, aka "Stiffler" form American Pie, is to play Bo Duke and Johnny Knoxville, of "Jackass" fame, is to play Luke Duke. As for Daisy, Jessica Simpson was seen arriving at Warner Bros studios dressed in Daisy Duke attire reportedly for a script reading.
