Not sure if this was brough up yet or not....haven't seen it here...but browsing over at IMDB.com and they had some casting information in there I had not seen yet. The main surprise was Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame. She is in the movie as Pauline, I believe. A couple of other folks who I had not heard of before...but there is a picture of a blonde girl on the main page who is in the movie. Anyway, didn't know if ya'll knew of Wonder Woman being in the film....

I've gotta say that after reading the article about the new movie on MTV's website and seeing the pics from the set, I'm pretty excited about it. I'm glad that they're not trying to make a carbon copy of the T.V. show but they're still trying to capture the spirt of it. I agree with Knoxville when he said that John and Tom would always be the real Bo and Luke. I would've liked to see some pics of Boss and Uncle Jesse but I guess they're keeping them under wraps. Last night at a friend of mines house, she showed me a website from a auto body and graphic design shop in Phenoix, AZ. I guess it's a pretty well known one because they created the cars for I-Robot, Demolition Man and some other movie I've never heard of. On the site they talked about how they were contracted by Warner Bros. to design a "more contemporary" General Lee for the movie. They actually built three of them and I guess Warner Bros. were actually seriously considering using their version but a few months before they started filming they changed their minds and decided to stick with the real General. It is important that th original cast appear to show those who arn't farmiliar with the show who the REAL Dukes are. Some say the new cast is a joke. It seems as though rumor has overwhelmed most of the locale postings; here's the truth: Yes, most of the filming will be completed in and around Clinton, LA (when I say around I mean right outside of town). Some is being wrapped up North of Zachary / South of Jackson (chase scene where the cars run through a barn). Most chase scenes are done on Overton-Ford (gravel) Road outside of Clinton. Hello, I wanted to give everyone a update on the movie. Yesterday and today they are filming at the corner of Choctaw and Scenic in Baton Rouge. They are shooting the scenes for the Hazard County Police Dept. Yesterday it was Daisy breaking one of the Duke boys out of jail. They also had a 60's style mustang with Boss Hogg written on it and Burt Reynolds picture on it. Today I rode by there and The black Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit with the liscense Bandit 4 on it. Tomorrow Clinton is having a Christmas parade and Jessica is supposed to be in the parade and I think they are filmin some scenes during the parade.

Man O Man, I could kick myself in the ass for not carrying my camera 24/7. The crew at The Boar's Nest was the biggest yet. They busted some serious tail yesterday to finish up and all I can say is WOW. I came back through late and got some night shots. It gets dark around 5:00 over here so its the best I could come up with right now but I'm on my way out for more building shots. There were 2 jeeps there, 2 of Boss's cars and a BIG 18 wheeler which must have carried them there or was housing some LEE's. They have a manlift for some aerial shots and tons of crew, cast and extra transport vehicles. I don't know if they were shooting inside or rehearsing something, or …

I am a extra in the Dukes of Hazzards movie and I would like to say that they shot in Zachary,LA behind the new Chillis Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and today they have been shooting at the corner of Scenic Hwy and Choctaw. Saturday Jessica Simpson for sure will be at the Clinton parade and they will shoot a couple of extra needed scenes to link in the Cooters Garage scenes. Hey everybody!! I'm new to the forum, but a long time DOH fan. I have relatives that live in Baton Rouge and I had my Uncle go try and get some pics of the Team Toyota lot. I have posted one pic under the "Member Galleries". Once the Admins approve the pic, you will see one General with what looks like a camera mount on the front.
