Dukes of Hazzard Movies

i have heard that they me using a new dodge charger for the general instead of the classic 69. it doesnt look bad and has potential, but there hasnt been a release date yet for it the other car could be a dodge stratus coupe (yuck) so what is your opinion - 69 charger, 05 charger or 05 stratus i think the 05 charger would look good, but not as good as the 69

now since movie takes place in current times what's your take on possibly having new units although i'm partial to the monacos and furys of yesterday... my take is they use the 2004 crown victorias i wonder what that would look like though?

Hi fans, I am new to this forum....but have been watching the show since new....I wanted to put my 2 cents here about the movie. I just saw it last night due to a free TX that I got from the purchase of a video set. I unfortunately, have to say I hated the movie. It had no plot line, no follow to the show, and to top it off- it put the dukes in a position of being the mean ones. (I mean as far as wrecking everything). I found the movie to be just for the men who wanted to see Jessica Simpson strut her body around. I give it a thumbs down...fans. I wish they could do a movie with as many of the origionals as they can get and put that on the big screen!…

Alright ya'll, I have been debating on whether or not to say anything at all on this site about the movie. I have been reading and watching patiently with the rest of you to see the new movie, and quite frankly I was disappointed with quite a few Dukes fans...and, I'm sorry to say it, Ben Jones. Not to say there werent a few things i would have changed....act one, scene one, Sheeve blows himself up...end of character. Hey everybody!! I'm new to the forum, but a long time DOH fan. I have relatives that live in Baton Rouge and I had my Uncle go try and get some pics of the Team Toyota lot. I have posted one pic under the "Member Galleries". Once the Admins approve the pic, you will see one General with what looks like a camera mount on the front. Here we go again! This is hot off the press from the Hollywood Reporter. As of this time we have zero confirmation about this WB/Jody Hill project actually being a Dukes of Hazzard movie. But we can't ignore the possibility. Back when the rumors started for the 2005 Dukes movie, (maybe it was 2003 at the time) and Britany Spears was being considered for Daisy, we were the first Dukes website with the dirt. I was over at boxofficemojo check on the dukes and in there over sea count the has made 20,300,000 in 4 days but if you look at the hole over sea board it says only 300,675 how does boxofficemojo count the money?

I saw this movie today in the UK and there is no talk of any drugs in this movie. I know 12 seconds got cut from the uk version and I also know that Jay said that when the DVD comes out they will have 1 DVD that is the same as the one you see in the cinema and another one that will be an adult one which will be a bit different to the other one. I am not sure what Ben Jones and any other Dukes fan is moaning about. If I had young kids I would take them to this movie. I see nothing to adult about this movie.

It's... awful... the General... might... become... this! THIS IS AWFUL! The new Charger. And they have the gald to call it the Road and Track edition, same title as the General. What if they use this in the movie! I don't think Jessica Simpson will fit through it (cool! Maybe that can get her thrown off the movie! > Your opinion on this?
