It looks like Cooters Place survived the fire according to their facebook https://www.facebook.com/CootersPlace/ but a lot of the rest of the area looks devastating. My family down south of there luckily the fire didn't get near them. Keep the people there in your thoughts and if you can spare it send some money down that way to help the people rebuild their lives.

http://s10.invisionfree.com/Hazzard_County/index.php?act=idx I've made an RP site that I am proud to say is inspired by you guys. Just the other day I was looking at your RP 'advertisement' for Hazzard Crossroads. So, I go to yahoo, type it in, wait for it to load, and then..."No Matches Found." Huh? Back to Fan Fiction, then Past Fics, then 2002, then Prelude to Mass Confusion...wait, what did it say? "What you are about to read is a prelude to a fanfic." Nooooo! I missed it! Advance a few minutes. I've now created a site. Okay, what to add? A little bit of this and that. It's finished! Now I have to do the hard part--convince people to join. This is an onlin…

Just wanted to wish a good Father's Day to all the dads here. Of all the things a person can do for a living, there is no job more important, or more challenging, than being a parent. I heard somethin' at a Native American gathering today, that is worth sharing. I'm going to repeat it the best I can: "We all have many fathers. We are the product of generations of ancestors. Mothers and fathers who endured hardships, traveled great miles, and fought many wars so that we could be born." "We who are fathers today cannot know the path that our childern will walk. We can only make our sons and daughters strong for the journey. We can guide them but it is up to them to ch…

I'm just sitting here trying to write but I don't trust myself to post any of it right now since I'm hyped up on vicadin; not that it has helped the pain at all. I stepped off of my back patio yesterday just before supper and my ankle turned. I HOPED that it was only a bad sprain since I don't have insurance. About thirty seconds after I went down my husband went into one of his walking around seizures so I had to try to keep him from wandering too far while I myself couldn't get up on my feet. After about twenty minutes I got myself inside and called my mother-in-law and she came over. After making sure my husband would be alright she took me to the hospital (YAWN-…

I don't know if you guys will think it's funny but I got a kick out of this one! LOL! A lady was coming home from the evening service at church and she noticed that there was a man in the house and he was stealing her stuff. She freaked out and screamed " Acts 2:38!!" The thief stopped where he was and didn't move. The woman calmly called the cops and when they got there, she told them what had happened. One of the cops asked him, while he was being handcuffed, " Why didn't you just run away?" All she did was scream a Bible verse at you? The thief said, " A Bible verse? I thought she said she had an Ax and 2 38's !!"

Christopher Nelson, a/k/a "Slick", was awarded the $100,000 contract by CMT to be the voice of the Dukes of Hazzard fandom. As the VP of the Dukes of Hazzard Institute of CMT, he has little to do other than watch the Dukes, write a blog, and smile for the camera. It's a job that anybody would love to have - and let's be honest, it's a job that just about anybody could probably do. And so when Nelson was announced as the winner, the HazzardNet staff gave a collective shrug and wished him well. Since that time, we have been made aware of some details that cause us to seriously question CMT's choice. We will share these details as objectively and factually as pos…

Late summer of 1981, sitting at the kitchen table of our 28 foot vacation trailer, playing gin rummy with my big sister, sippin' on an Orange Crush, and listenin' to Juice Newton beltin' out on the radio..."Midnight and I'm a-waitin' on the 12:05, hopin' it'll take me just a little farther down the line..." (Anybody else got some nostalgic memories to share?)

I wish I could come up with new ideas to make HazzardNet more popular again but I'm tapped out. It makes me sad to log in. It's like seeing a relative die. Am I correct in assuming there's nothing that can be done? I wonder how long it can last. This may be our last chance to brainstorm and come up with a 2017 plan to revitalize this place. I wonder if it can survive 2017. For those of you who remain do you have any ideas left? Anything at all? Seeing this once great place being reduced to a word association thread is just too much to bear. What ever happened to the plan to integrate HN with Facebook? Maybe I just didn't understand how it was supposed to work since I'm lo…

Who do you like better drivin the General? Bo or Luke? I like Luke because he really didn't drive much. Dont get me wrong because i love the jumps that Bo makes but its nice to see Luke in the drivers seat. One other question, didn't the boys have another car? I mean like a big red convertable or somthin? I thought i remember it gettin stolen by two girls in an episode of season 1?

Hi everyone. This will really test your knowledge of the episodes. I'm searching for an episode that had a woman in a wheel chair in it. It was probably an extra part, I don't know if she even had any lines. The woman was Played by my Cousin, Lidie Murfi, who recently passed away and I'd like to see this eppy. This is all I know about it. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance, Rynn

When I was first told of hazzardnet. I thought how cool and wondering if this hazzardnet would have the same family feel as the dukes of hazzard. I just had to check it out. But I can say no that is not true. I'm deeply disappointed on how people here treating other people here. I think that if Uncle Jesse where to see this he be just as disappointment as I am.

My 6 year old son's favorite show is - of course- the Dukes of Hazzard. While I'm here in Iraq he and his brother have tried to make my trip more comfortable by providing me with pictures they have drawn. I thought it best if these two were shared with those on this site. I also threw a picture of this years pine wood derby in for good measure. Thanks for your indulgence.

Does anyone know why John's opening credit was changed from kissing a girl to him sneaking up on the side of a barn with what looks to be a shovel in his hands? From what I can tell; that is the only change in the opening credits throughout the run of the show (except for the addition/subtraction of Deputies Cletus and Enos). Thanks!!

I gots myself a horse! Well sorta....I'm kinda sorta leasing him! He is a 5 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He's an ex-racehorse............in 6 races he never finished better than 8th but i love him anyway. His full name is Irish Eagle....I call him Eagle...but I might start calling hium Red...it fits him. I think he might be kin to Maudine.....he's a bit of a brat. He blows his self up when you tighten the girth, he has tried to lay down when i tighten the girth, once while I was riding him, and he likes to take me under tree branches. He didn't get the love and attention he deserves when he was at his owners house. But now he gets hugs and kisses all the time. One day …

Folks... I have a tip for y'all. Does your phone die fast? I can fix it. Go in your settings and turn off adaptive brightness. Set it manually on 20% and it will stay on 20. It won't jump all around on you. Your battery lasts longer too that way."
