I know we all wish we were crusing around in a General Lee but most of us ain't that lucky. So I'm curious what does everyone actually drive. I drive a 2001 black Mercury Cougar... I named her Ledi. She's a 5 speed... I hate automatics (no offense to anyone, but they just ain't as much fun) got a V6 2.5 liter, a sunroof and 6 disc in dash CD changer. She's my third car, I bought her used with about 38,000 miles on her, before I had a 1996 green Pontiac Sunfire named Sway which eventually just gave out and a 2002 navy blue Chevy Cavilier named Jesse which I totalled out. Yesterday, I was on my way to pay my bills. I had to stop at the bank to get some money, before I pulled into the bank I passed a state pig. At this time she didn't do anything. I pull out of the bank and seen her sitting on the side of the road talking to another state pig. I get about a mile from my bank when she pulls me over. She pulled me over because she said my car is to loud(which it's not. You can't even hear it when pulls in my yard) and the other reason for pulling me over was my front plate. I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick general guide on how to install a melody air horn i know it needs to be away from the engine itself and away from the radiator i am planning on installing it behind my bumper onto the inside of the front right wing - does that sound about right? any help will be greatly appreciated

I have to say #1 for me is my '70 Dodge Challenger... I like pretty much all mopars though, would be very happy to own a '68 Super Bee or a '71 Demon.... My dad and uncle both have 2nd gen Chargers. Another uncle has a '66 Charger w/ a 440. It's the prettiest 1st gen I have ever seen. My grandpa has a '47 Plymouth, Moonshiner special... It's actually what's called a business coupe. It's got a big trunk w/ a few hidden compartments. Non mopar cars? My favorites are '67 Fire Bird w/ the 400 Ram Air IV and a muncie 4 speed. Or a '69 Mercury Cougar XR7 Eliminator. I've hunting arounf the net, and noticed that a few muscle car dealer are making chargers, theres one illnios, (ludke??), one in houston, and a tnt auto in the bronx, does anyone have any clues about the quality of the work?

We all know the General is the coolest car in Hazzard, but what other cars do you think are cool in Hazzard. I think both Daisy's car and jeep are cool vehicles. In real life, I drive a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, black exterior and interior, 2.8 litre engine, automatic transmission, with sunroof and a heater like a furnace, a broken tape deck and stereo and a broken air conditioner.

i just passed my driving test here in the uk so i am now looking for a car to use as a basis for a general generation 2 car does anyone have any reccommendations for what to get in the uk, but is cheap to insure y'all in the usa have it great - cheap insurance an all in the uk, at 17 the cheapest you can pay is about £1500 (about $2900) and that is for a pile of flash droppings like a 1970's fiat panda i really want a general - any suggestions?

I'm surprised it can handle the little jumps I've put it through. But I did have to replace a transimission mount just after I did the jumps...haha it was jst a bunch of twisted metal.

i ain't mah licence yet, but a good mate of mine has this for a sweet ride sorry mufn but it'll smoke your trans am easy its an eagle ss kit car and it has gull wing doors, and runs a 2L V6 he now has drag wheels at the back now maybe i will get one and turn it into a custom general / roadrunner / cooter's truck / eagle cross breed here is the aftermath of a crash - ouch

here is a question that has been buggin me for ages the general lee is supposed to be the fasted vehicle in hazzard - right and cooter sometimes helps the dukes with stuff - right and they sometimes race away from law together - right then how come cooter's truck can keep up with the general, even if the general is hitting the redline has cooter got nitrous in his truck or something cos there is something wrong with a 2 ton work truck keeping up with a 1 ton race car uncle jesse's truck cannot always keep up with the general, but when he does it is usually bo driving the general daisy's jeep and roadrunner cannot keep up with the general so what has cooter done to his tru…

Although I love the Dukes of Hazzard - I must say that my all time fav t.v. show is Knight Rider. Which would explain why my dream car is a 1982 Firebird with T-tops. I may not have the year that I like - but I still have the general type and it does have T-tops. It is a 2.8 litre V-6 with a five speed standard transmission. the colour was originally a fadded brown - which looked grey - but now it is black. it will look alot better when it is finally completed. I have to fix the whole thing up and safety it before i can drive it.
