The French title for The Dukes of Hazzard is The Sheriff is a Fool. In Italy, it's called Hazzard. What are some of the titles in other countries?

Greetings everyone! I am new here and thought I'd introduce myself by creating a post about the Dixie horn that I built myself. It was pretty easy to build and it is loud! The nice part is it sounds exactly like an original Jubilee Dixie air horn from 1979. There are no moving parts to wear out and it plays perfectly in tune. I would love to hear your feedback on it. Have you noticed in the opening of Trouble at Cooter's, Russ Mitchell in his brown van hauling the fur coats, hits Cooter on purpose? He smiles before backing up into Cooter's truck.

I wonder why they always goof up the 00 packaging calling it Cooter's 00 Mustang. Not Cooter's it's Buzz Kilroy's car. The original Season 1 series 1 release 2004 did it too it called Ben Jones Ben Cooper on the DVD case but got it right as Ben Jones on the 2012 DVD case. There really is a Ben Cooper I looked him up. Has other toys for other shows or movies done that? A goof package?

Did anyone else see it? The 2 guys one Blond one Brunette driving an orange 1970 Dodge Charger. They drive into the drive thru jamming to the radio. They drive up to the speaker and the driver the Blond guy says "We'll take 2 Chicken Potpies." 😀 Yeah I know the series didn't use any '70 Chargers only '69 and doctored up '68 with '69 parts on them before anyone points that out to me. But still a cool and Dukes related commercial to me. 😁

I know that everyone in the US celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Dukes of Hazzard back in January, but in the UK it didn't start until March 3rd, 1979. Below is the listing from the Radio Times (roughly the UK equivalent of the TV Guide) from that day. As y'all can see, it was originally shown at 9 PM on a Saturday night, but soon moved to an earlier Saturday slot. Back then we only had three channels, and no breakfast or daytime TV (except programs for schools). Hey y'all I had a bit of a Dukes day today. I watched mostly season 4 episodes. Amongst other episodes I watched "Sound of Music Hazzard Style","Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love". I don't know if this has been brought up before but did anyone notice the chase music at the start of "Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love" sounds really similar to "Object of My Affection" by Mickey Gilley at the start of "Sound of Music Hazzard Style"? Can anyone else hear the similarities or is it just me? In my opinion I think it's possible that Mickey Gilley recorded the "Object of My Affection" instrumental for the Dukes,especially since the episodes seemed to filmed so close toget…

I have always been curious as to why they never did a flashback story on when Bo , Luke, and Daisy ended up at the farm and I know that Bo and Luke were little babies when they came to the farm because in A Baby For The Dukes", Uncle Jesse says that Bo and Luke were about that size. Daisy was six when she came I would have really liked to have seen an episode like that. :p

Ok, how many seasons of TDoH actualy where there? i have read several different sites, some saying 5, more saying seven, a few saying 8 and now ive just read 9. Please could someone please give me a definite number, this is messing with my head.

Dukes of Hazzard fan alert! I just realized a clever callback in the show. In Season 1 Episode 4, "Repo Men," Luke says "You get the feeling we've been here before?" when Rosco confiscates the Rolls Royce. But what most fans might not know is that this line is a nod to Season 7 Episode 1, "Happy Birthday General Lee," where Rosco takes their truck, leaving them stranded! The writers cleverly wove this continuity Easter egg into the series, and I'm loving the connection! Who else has caught similar callbacks in The Dukes of Hazzard? I've always been intrigued by the one-off appearance by "(an)other Duke cousin", motorcycle riding Jeb Stuart Duke, played by Christopher Hensel, in season three's "Along Came a Duke". Odd that he would be introduced in such a way, never featured again, and in all my years collecting and writing about Dukes, I have never really found out the story behind the character. In my youth, part of me wondered if he had been introduced as a possible replacement for Bo should John Schneider ever leave - I vaguely recall an article with Schneider suggested that producers gave him a hard time after misleading them about his age when he auditioned and used to wonder if it related to …

I was just watching "Dukes in Danger" and I noticed when Luke was changing the tire on the General we was turing the lug wrench the opposite direction (turning it right to loosen the lug nuts and left to tighten). Is this right for because of the tires on the General?

It just came to me that sometimes when talking to others in real life, I use sayings from Dukes of Hazzard, like "Keep it between the ditches". "I love it, I love it" is another of my favorites and I use is a lot. Any one else besides me do this?

The local television station in Erie Pennsylvania does a "Good Kid" segment every week. Today they showed a kid named Robby Gordon who lives in Chapmanville Pennsylvania. Robby has always been a big help to elderly neighbors and has always wanted to be on the volunteer fire department. He just turned 14 so is now finally eligible to join the FD. In the middle of the story Robby hopped on a golf cart and tooted the horn. You might have guessed it.....The golf cart was orange, had an 01 on the side and the horn played Dixie!

I have a season one and three DVD set and a season two coming.

Hey I just realized something. That red shirt Luke wears on the lunchbox with him walking over the hood, that is the shirt Hammer stole to wear in Season 4 Dukes in Danger after raiding Bo & Luke's closest and Leeman wore the junkin outfit from Bo's dance with ATF Agent Roxanne Huntley in High Octane.
