What episode does this real life crime remind you of? ( There is a specific one that is the right answer!)

Hazard made the national news today because the Energy Secretary was there to announce easing of rules that restricted the use of coal in making electricity. Hazard is a coal town and will benefit from the new rules so that's why it was announced there. I remember when the cast of Dukes went there to help with a fundraiser when miners were trapped. At the time the show was in its heyday so it was a pretty big national story.

Why in the opening credits of the show they put Tom Wopat first and John Schneider second? The alphabetical order is usually preferred when actors playing the main characters are equally famous (or actually also unfamous!). So what's the matter here? Was Tom slightly better known than John, who i know was totally unknown?

Wondering if anyone knows what happened to this car? I saw it at Grand Bend Mopar Weekend back in 1998, we were walking back to our campsite after the days show had ended and it had just pulled in and was registering (yes he drove it there). The guy said he bought it off an ad that was in the back of hot rod magazine, and used the money they had saved up to put down on a house for it - and the wife left lol. It was not a show car by any means, pretty rough around the edges. Anyone now what happened to it or where it is now?

I only have enough to buy one season in september. I own 1, 3, 6, and 7 what would be the best season to buy next? Season 2, season 4 or season 5?

I know that everyone in the US celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Dukes of Hazzard back in January, but in the UK it didn't start until March 3rd, 1979. I was just thinking about everybody who has kept the Dukes legacy alive these past 40+ years. We should dedicate something to them....sort of a Dukes Hall of Fame for everybody who has made major contributions to keeping the Dukes Nation strong. Hey y'all I was just wondering,did the sound stage General Lee,police car and various other cars have an engine and transmission in them? I dont mean like the bad guy's cars and cars used in one episode,but vehicles that were used throughout the series. Does anybody know if they had engines and transmissions?

I have always been curious as to why they never did a flashback story on when Bo , Luke, and Daisy ended up at the farm and I know that Bo and Luke were little babies when they came to the farm because in A Baby For The Dukes", Uncle Jesse says that Bo and Luke were about that size. Daisy was six when she came I would have really liked to have seen an episode like that. :p

I was wondering if someone could tell me which episode had Daisy and the boys riding horses over a fence and I think that there is an airplane or helicopter involved and Daisy ends up falling and hitting her head on a rock, knocking her out? I can't remember what season that is from. Tara

Hey y'all I had a bit of a Dukes day today. I watched mostly season 4 episodes. Amongst other episodes I watched "Sound of Music Hazzard Style","Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love". I don't know if this has been brought up before but did anyone notice the chase music at the start of "Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love" sounds really similar to "Object of My Affection" by Mickey Gilley at the start of "Sound of Music Hazzard Style"? Can anyone else hear the similarities or is it just me?
