Hey y'all! I don't know how I've managed to keep this quiet for the week, but last weekend I went to a local car show. I saw a movie style General Lee and began talking to the man standing next to the car. It took me a minute to realise that I was talking to none other than Tom Sarmento. Yes that's Tom Sarmento as in the lead mechanic for the Dukes of Hazzard. We spent over an hour talking about stories and myths surrounding the cars and methodology the builders used back then. What is it about a show from the 1980's that appeals to today's generation ? granted I'm a second generation fan, I find Dukes funny entertaining and better than anything out there on t.v. today.how do Y'all feel about the Dukes, what's the show mean to you ?

We all remember from the first Dukes reunion movie Rosco became Boss, Would anyone out there like to see Hughie as Boss ? If They make another reunion movie, I would even though I'd love to pound the hay out of him for what he did to the Duke's in the past it seems fit the Hughie should become Hazzard's new Boss. What are y'alls thoughts about this ?

I see that Dave's Mobile Dukes of Hazzard Museum is going to be at the Northeast Ohio Dukes Stunt Show on Saturday Aug 25. For some reason I thought Dave was a member of HazzardNet. Does anybody know?

hi guys, I almost dream about that last night and why Hoggs hate Dukes, Sheriff chase dukes all time that order from boss or what reason for? how hazzard county getting grow up from old classic to new like change vehicles or buidlings? Why we need senior citizen house and sports field for kids do we need it? why not we can see dukes and others that how grow up become be before high school look like we did bit little in film and little episode on field. I'm working on a story and I was wondering if anyone remembers the road that the Dukes took to get to the coffin works? I remember that it was kind of out in the boonies and that's what I really need for my story to work. I won't go into too much detail so I don't spoil my current story for those that are following it (but willing to share through messages if anyone is curious) but needless to say I plan a bit of drama in the coming chapters that will include a stop off at the coffin works. If anyone happens to know the answer let me know. I'm at work and writing so I don't have my DVD's handy. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

But, the original town square & courthouse in Covington, Georgia that was first used as the Hazzard town square, was later seen in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986) as the town of Crystal Lake—Jason Vorhees’ stomping/chopping grounds.

Dukes of Hazzard fans who complain about Coy and Vance should just be glad they were given those different names. Warner Brothers could've easily just continued using the original Bo and Luke names. Bo for Byron Cherry and Luke for Christopher Mayer but they didn't. Others done it. Roseanne kept the name Becky while Sarah Chalke replaced the original Lecy Goranson.

Feeling confused y'all! How can they cancel reruns of the original 1979-1985 7 season 147 episodes TV Series, because of the Confederate battle flag on the roof of the car GENERAL LEE, but yet, they find it ok to show the 2005 movie version remake? Smh y'all. Seriously? Like what the h?

Hi, I've been a Dukes fan since about age 8, and built a General Lee in 05 but sold it in 07 to start my next project. I'm going to be going to LA soon and want to do some Dukes investigating. I've been looking at filming locations and read the awesome 22 page thread by Hoss for some of the locations. Dukes fans... This one is slightly better than 2005 as far as the characters go, but still not as good as the original 1979-1985 series. Right y'all?

The end of this scene in Season 4 Trouble at Cooter's Russ:"Alright, you win Hogg!" Boss:"Yeah!" Russ:"THIS TIME!" Makes me think Russ dealt with Boss before in the past before the Mink coat deal. What do y'all think?
